Escape the Undead in Corridor Z, Out May 3 on PS4, PS Vita

Hello, PlayStation.Blog! After releasing Draw Slasher in 2013 and Run Like Hell in 2014, we are back with our latest game — Corridor Z, which is coming to PS4 and PS Vita tomorrow!

The action of Corridor Z takes place in an ordinary high school, where survivors have barricaded themselves in a classroom after the school has been quarantined by the military to prevent an undead outbreak from spreading. Through playing the game across two professionally-voiced parallel story lines, you will uncover the story behind the undead horror.

Stylized gory graphics and detailed animations create an angsty backdrop while the vibrant sound effects enrich the auditory experience. Players need to “control” the pursuit while running toward the camera — wield guns, place obstacles, and destroy zombies as you fend off hordes of ferocious zombies and defeat powerful bosses. Above all else, don’t get bitten!

While progressing through the game, players will unlock special perks, upgrade their weapon arsenals, pick up story collectibles, and experience the engaging story full of twists and turns.

There are dozens of objectives to accomplish; fulfilling them unlocks a hidden character. Players who desire additional challenge can compete with their friends or strive to top the global leaderboards. The game will also have cross buy support!

so sad this is not a Survival game, and is just another non stop running game. :(
    anyway, thanks for supporting vita.

  • Great to see Vita & cross buy support. Mobile-style endless runners aren’t my type though. Not even on mobile in fact.

  • Thanks for supporting the Vita again.

  • Thanks for the vita support! While I play these types of games in ps4 to enjoy the graphics, the main bulk of my time will be spent onvita.
I really liked run like hell in iOS, so Im looking forward to this one. Will it be F2P or 100% premium? Price range?
Some tech stuff liek 60 fps 1080p?

  • Here, This looks alright

  • Artur, shuhei yoshida once said that the PS Vita gamers were “mobile” gamers. And he was wrong.
We don’t play on the PS Vita for fifteen minutes, we are REAL Gamers, playing on the handheld for as long as it can until the battery runs out. That’s why such games must have a background story to drive the player into playing the game and if possible, increase replayability, so we can benefit of some extra hours before putting the game to rest.
I’m not saying Corridor Z is an empty game. I’m just saying this “Infinite run” genre is something that should not have left the “mobile devices” platform. This is your 15-min game. It should have stayed there. Nobody is going to be like “Dude did you see this run-and-gun? It’s awesome!”
This is just someone who don’t bother to distract their mind with something other than porn, news or whatever – and then such person will try this game. And even so, I’d say that only 2/4 of these people get to keep the game on their devices. And because it’s so repetitive, it won’t satisfy even the person who wants to love this game after spending some time with it.

Anyway, enough said. Thank you for supporting the Vita. Or for the intention to do so.

My last pay check was $9500 working 12 hours a week online. My sisters friend has been averaging 15k for months now and she works about 20 hours a week. I can’t believe how easy it was once I tried it out. This is what I do…

Can the Vita even handle such graphics?

  • Looks great and really fun for a quick gaming session, I’m in! Glad that you considered the Vita version, probably I’d have missed this game if it was a PS4 only game.

  • Thanks for supporting the Vita with this title.
