Good to see Ratchet do so well and man Rocket League just will not fall. Also HUGE congrats to Drinkbox Studios on Severed being the best selling Vita game in April. It really is one of the best games on the handheld.

Also we all know Uncharted 4 will be the top seller in May =)

Severed being #1 on Vita even though it was only available for 5 days is Kinda…Amazing

Wow, really impressive showing for Severed considering it was only out for 5 days in April! Really glad to see the delays don’t seem to have impacted interest in that game. Glad to see the Vita release of Axiom Verge has it back on the charts. And I hope the success of Ratchet & Clank means we’ll see more 3D platformers come to PlayStation.

As for next month, I would be shocked to see anything other than Uncharted 4 take the top PS4 spot, and I hope Severed & AV continue to do well for Vita :-). And it will be interesting to see how newcomers Battleborn and Overwatch do, though Battleborn has a few week head start.

“Why do you make an exclusive game for Vita?” asks someone out there.

Severed, number 1 download for April.

“Oh.”

It sold better than Axiom Verge.

Severed shows that good games can sell well on Vita. Still waiting for GTA on Vita (would settle for San Andreas ). Hey, one can dream.

This didn’t show that it sold well exactly. Just that it sold better than the other games for vita. I imagine it did or hope it did at least meet expectations or better than drink box anticipated.

I hope you realize that the majority of people don’t leave a rating. I know games that only had a few thousand ratings yet had sold a million plus copies. You can’t go by that.

Play station need to add sims 2 to the PS classics because sims is one of the most purchased franchises and i know at least a hundred people that would by this game just for its two player split screen. It would be amazing if you added it and many people would make it worth your while.

Remember, just because something is at the top of the list doesn’t mean it’s selling well, just that it sold more than the game below it . To date Severed only has 441 ratings which leaves me wondering what the rating was back 11 days ago. I know some people don’t vote but the low # today makes me sad for all the other 9 games on that life :(

So the DLC for the Star Wars Battlefront reboot was only placed 9th and 10th places. Welp, that’s EA gets for releasing a disappointing barebones Star Wars Battlefront game. Still no galactic conquest, still no campaign, and the space battles are not as fun as the ones in Star Wars Battlefront II for the PS2.

Nice showing for Ratchet and Severed. Alienation though :( Guess it was towards the end of the month and many of the titles above sold through sales.

Good to see Digimon is still doing great on the Vita.
Maybe Digimon Next Order will come in physical form.

It does not seem like a good sign for Mega Man Legends 2 barely making the top ten…barely surpassing the first game by only 1 spot. Although Capcom hasn’t done much for MegaMan, hopefully this does not give another negative message to them…

You have to realize that a lot of the games above Mega Man Legends 2 had steep discounts on that Flash sale including the first Mega Man Legends. I’m sure MML2 did fine.

Dark Souls 3 is number 1, no surprise there. Awesome game all the way around. A little easier than Dark Souls 2 I thought, but that didn’t bother me. That was probably done to make the game more accessible to a wider audience. If you guys enjoy this game, and haven’t tried it yet, you’d love Bloodborne. Most hardcore fans of the series seem to prefer Dark Souls, and don’t get me wrong I love it, but I really enjoyed the fast paced combat of Bloodborne. The combat is so fast and different it was hard to transition back to Dark Souls. If you like this game, give it a shot. It’s faster and more violent, plus it’s filled with secrets and deep lore. One guy wrote a 90 page manuscript on the lore Bloodborne on Reddit. It’s called The Paleblood Hunt. Check it out.

To anyone who hasn’t played Risk Of Rain yet…. OMG, you are missing out on a GREAT game! It’s like Splunky with guns. I’m glad they made it to the top 3 on the Vita list. It’s available for PS4 and Vita, but I think it really shines on the Vita. I play it every day.

I was also curious about Risk of Rain. It looks like a fun game. I’ll have to pick it up, it looks like something I’d enjoy. I kinda want Axiom Verge too. Don’t Starve is an interesting game.

Ratchet and Clank! Great to see it up there alongside Dark Souls III. With the best debut for the franchise in NA history, it’s lovely to see it doing great digitally as well. Congrats Insomniac!
