  • Woah! I didn’t know Robinson was coming so quickly!

  • Whoa! Early Drop :-D

I hope that Mayo game makes that “mayo noise” ;-)

  • personausermike

I like that the Drop is on a Friday. Should keep it that way…and add official youtube trailer links because 90% of us go to YouTube after we see games we never heard of.

    • Ive been trying for so long to get them to link to some kind of preview or trailer. Even some screen shots would be more useful. But as it sits now, i simply ignore games i dont know, Why look it up if they aren’t even willing to try. Lost sales for sure.

  • Woah, early drop. Is this a permanent change? Kind of exciting, if so.

  • LeandroDiFini

I approve The Drop on Fridays!

  • CrusaderForever

So this should be called the fumble? :) I prefer the drop on Fridays. Thanks

  • shadysaiyanz

I don’t like this Friday game release trend, its kind of annoying… but that’s the publishers faults. Dishonored 2 looks nice. IF Robinson is good, i’ll get it.

    • Tommygunnz98

I rarely post here, but I logged in just to post exactly this. All these other games come out Tuesday of the week but ohhhh no the triple a titles everyone is excited for just has to make us wait the extra three days. I’m very friggin tired of the Friday crap too

  • AliciaDarky

Shoot! Root Letter (that has a Special Edition that looks awesome), Robinson and Eagle Flight!? Wish I didn’t like many genres -.-.

  • Is the PS Vita version of Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization not coming out next week?

Reportedly, the game is supposed to be set for a PSN-only Vita release in North America, and on both digital and retail over in Europe.

    • He probably forgot to put it in, which would also explain why it was not mentioned in the Blogcast.

  • Early drop is cool but what will I be looking forward to on sundays then? :(

    • I feel your pain! They don’t really post on weekends, so maybe you can just wait until Sunday to look?

    • No way I’m going to wait ;) I’m a little addicted to gaming news.

  • Drop on Friday is good with me.

I noticed no PS+ start of month specials on select newer releases this month. Did this disappear with the price increase?

  • This isn’t Sunday….is it?!

Also, SAO’s coming to Vita too, but without a retail release.

  • SureBigBuster

Awesome drop. Robinson and Dishonored, what a great week!

  • i also approve a friday drop but i’m also used to see new content from you guys on sundays too

  • Oh man, I read the title as “Eagle Fight” instead of “Eagle Flight”… Now I want a brawler/fighter game based on birds!

  • Is My Name Is Mayo some kind of companion piece to I Am Bread?

  • Hey, thanks for the drop, but to all those that don’t or even do like this. We know most of what is being released and when way before “the drop”….

    • That’s true for the big titles, not so much the little ones. Besides, it serves as a refresher for most of us who forgot.

And besides, it gives the Blogcast crew a good excuse to talk about Japanese games when they come up.

  • Isn’t Hollow Realization coming out for the Vita as well?

    Mayo Stealth release…..

  • Woah The Drop came early, nice! Guess someone needed some game time ;)

  • I like the new time. I never log in on Sunday, so I always have to remember to check it out on Monday, so this is better. ( for me )

  • I also approve of the early Drop!

  • I approve The Drop on Fridays or Mondays!

  • BlongTreyLo

Take back what’s yours, Reclaim your Throne. Final Fantasy XV~

    *Epic Music Ques*

  • Great idea doing the drop on fridays! You can get alot more peoples attention on a friday than you would on a sunday!

  • Maybe we could start posting next week’s sales on Fridays too? Be nice to be able to budget those in too.

  • I hope that eventually well also get a tearaway discount.

  • SNIP3R_TOA5T

Would it be possible to add DLC to The Drop as well? I totally missed out on Batman Episode 3 and found out about Ashes of Ariandel on twitter

  • purewarrior11

No Handball 17 for Vita this year? :-(

  • SharkZone360

Yes!!! Hollow realization is coming, stoked for it to come out.

  • Alienzero2k1

nice I was tired of waiting till 3pm’ish est sundays to see the new stuff XD thanks Ryan!

  • The Drop has really been something I prefer on a Sunday. It’s like, wow, there was someone at Sony still working for me, even though I just had the worst experience with my life this weekend, and got f******* whoops ******* ***dont tell them about****.

Yeah I feel like I just Got f’ckd by Clements.

^^^ That, though, is an old way of looking at todays’s world. That Ryan, previously, was working late Saturday night to deliver the Sunday morning The Drop?

In that regard, I guess it is best to receive ’em straight from Friday’s mouth

  • Glad to see a PS3 game, more of em would be even more amazing.

  • Game_Over7983

You should do The Drop like this all the time. The site psnstores.com tends to beat the Playstation Blog’s PSN Store Update Previews on Fridays so why not adopt this schedule instead of always releasing the drop on a Sunday and being beaten by a 3rd party site?

  • medenko1975

who on earth is gonna buy HANDBALL? hahaha.

  • Me likes drops on fridays

  • ichigorocks999

Where’s ape escape 3 ? How much longer must we wait?

  • LiquidSnake268

    pretty nice week!

Robinson and Sword Art Online for me!

Can’t wait to see the new SAO game!

  • SAO can’t wait!!!

  • Mayo just isn’t Mayo unless it’s Hellmann’s…!

  • Blackjohnjohnny

Will Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization be available digitally on the vita this Tuesday as well?

  • ExWalmartian

More VR crap to flood the new release section of the PlayStation store. Wonderful. It wouldn’t be so bad if there were other decent games in this line up. What a waste

  • Nightstream88

Didn’t think Robinson the Journey was coming out so soon.
Was going to get Playstation VR by the time it came out but going to have to wait until Next year for that it is going to be the first game I play on Playstation VR though.
Getting Sword Art Online Hallow Realization got the Collector’s edition on preorder.
and want to play Eagle Flight as well.

  • OVERDOSE987

  • OVERDOSE987

Why is there a game bout mayo? It kinda feels like devs aren’t trying anymore. Its either assassins creed # 16 Or a game about bread or mayo. Whats happening?

  • Everybody get cool, this is a robbery:
    (trawl internet for food)
    (Where’s all the *spiced* McChickens?)

  • HussamFelimban

Wasn’t SAO: HR supposed to come to PS Vita as well?

  • rockoutdude77

LOVE THE NEW DROP TIMING, RYAN! Allows me to work on some videos a little bit earlier ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=glLJaAYjwJI )! Stay awesome. Keep doin’ what you’re doin’!

  • Game_Over7983

Mayo is the savior of the Vita

  • Drop on Fridays! Finally everything makes sense!

    Beyond!

  • It is now 0630 Pacific time, when will Robinson the Journey and Eagle flight be available to purchase? They release today but there is no purchase button yet for Eagle Flight and Robinson the Journey was removed from the store completely last night, with the wishlisted page I had for it giving me an error 404!

Now when searching for Robinson The Journey in the store shows zero results. What gives?
