PlayStation Experience 2016: Panel Lineup, 100+ Playable Games

Phew! Team PlayStation is hard at work putting the finishing touches on PlayStation Experience 2016. I have a feeling that it’s going to be truly special.

With thousands of you flying in from all over the country — even the world! — it’s time to provide a few more details on what awaits this December 3 and 4 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, CA. Don’t worry if you don’t have your tickets yet, we still have some available right here. But hurry, there’s no telling how long they’ll last!

The action will kick off on Saturday at 10:00am sharp with our big PlayStation Showcase, but take note: as always, seating space will be limited! If you want to sit in on PlayStation Showcase, plan to arrive bright and early — doors will open at 8:00am, but the line will likely be well underway by that point.

Then come the panels. We’re locked and loaded for six developer panels this year, and in my humble opinion it’s our strongest lineup by a country mile. I hate to go all cloak-and-dagger, but we can only reveal three of the panels at this time. Trust me: the other three will be worth the wait!

12:00pm: Kinda Funny: PS I Love You XOXO
Horizon Zero Dawn, GT Sport, and all the latest details coming out of PS Experience — 2017 is looking pretty dang good for PlayStation! Join Greg Miller and Colin Moriarty, plus special guests for a live recording of the internet’s No. 1 PlayStation podcast.

2:00pm: Accessibility: Making Games for All Gamers
Accessibility features help empower all gamers—not just those with disabilities—and we want to set an industry standard of inclusion. We’re bringing together some of the top minds from the accessibility community, PlayStation and Naughty Dog to discuss best practices for game developers and to share powerful stories about the broader impact of accessibility features in games.

And now for the games! We’re currently looking at well over 100 playable games at PlayStation Experience this year (though for the discerning eye, you’ll only see 96 on this list). Again, these are only the games we’re allowed to talk about for now. Plenty more to be revealed in Anaheim!

  • The_Angry_OchO

Is there going to be any VR live streaming or way to use PSVR for those who can’t go?

  • Ordered my ticket on the first day. When and where do we pick them up? Thank you in advance

  • LordXenu925

All in for Yakuza 0!!! Let’s support the crap outta this game to show Sega there is an audience for this awesome series here in the West!

  • I’m excited for Nioh but… the main game i’m waiting for is Yakuza 0!!!!! Guys it’s the best game to start the series since it’s a prequel and my god it’s the best Yakuza yet… untill 6 comes out! Give it a go guys, you won´t regret it!

  • I can’t wait for PSX. I’ve had such a great time each year and have met so many awesome people. I know this year will be the same. I look forward to hearing all the announcement first hand, playing the games and checking out the panels. Thanks for bringing Kinda Funny back again for a PS I Love You panel. I’ll make sure to bring my Vita with me.

  • Will the showcase and/or any of the panels be live streamed?

  • Where is Tekken 7 ?

  • Anyone know when I should be in line if I for sure want to see the keynote? Also will badge pickup be available Friday like last year?

    • TheBeanlyOne

You should get there at least by the time the doors open, which I believe is 8 a.m.

As always, getting there even earlier than that is best. I showed up last year when the doors opened, and I was able to secure a seat, but it was way in the back.

    • lombax707707

I went last year and the line started ridiculously early.
I would say at least by 7am to get a seat.

Anything earlier will warrant you better seating.

    • Thank you! My hotel is right next to the convention center so Ill shoot for 6:30.

  • If you haven’t tried it yet, you NEED to check out Yakuza 0, it’s a great point of entry into the series!

  • oZ-Hiraishin

You better check out Yakuza 0, folks, great game.

  • and How about Shenmue 3 ?

  • This is going to be a blast I went to the first one in Vegas.

  • I want to know more about Friday the 13th video game. And DayZ.

  • superpancho88

I want Gang beasts right now, omg when it comes?

  • KingOfThieves

For all the he-haw you guys at Sony drum up, your service is horrible. I purchased a VR set for $500 and I get sick from playing it within five minutes and remain sick the whole day. I tried to return it to Walmart and they said to contact Sony but when I contacted you guys, you refused. Thats 500 that is going to sit in the basement. To think I was going to turn around and purchase Pro with that money. I have been a loyal customer to Sony since the days of PS1 even though I own MS consoles also, I always purchase third party titles for Sony. Very very disappointed.

  • I can’t wait for the presentation. I hope some of the missing games are talked about there with release dates

  • LEFT__4__DEAD__2

It is going to be a fun month ^_^

    • Tragic_Astronaut

Hey everyone! This is the first time my wife and I will be visiting this event. We cannot find any information on items not permitted in the ps experience. Are bag packs allowed, or shoulder bags?

      Thank you in advance.

  • I’d better hear good news on Marvel vs. Capcom 4
