  • Just when I thought I had nothing to look forward to today… oh, riiight.

  • Final Fantasy Agito was a free-to-play mobile game released in Japan in 2014 as a follow-up to Final Fantasy Type-0. It was later shut down and rebranded Final Fantasy Type-0 online and set for release sometime this year.

Final Fantasy XV was once known as Final Fantasy Versus XIII.

Both are part of the Fabula Nova Crystallis: Final Fantasy connected Universe, which contains the following games:

    Final Fantasy XIII
    Final Fantasy XIII-2
    Lightning returns: Final Fantasy XIII
    Final Fantasy Agito
    Final Fantasy Type-0
    Final Fanasy XV

This is not the first time Final Fantasy has done the connected Universe outside of direct sequels and prequels (like the FFVII franchise)

There’s also the connected Universe known as the Ivalice Alliance, in which all the games take place in the fictional world of Ivalice. It contains the following games:

    Final Fantasy XII
    Final Fantasy XII: Revanant Wings
Final Fantasy Tactics (and War of the Lions)
    Final Fantasy Tactics A2
    Vagrant Story
    Crystal Defenders

These ones are easy to tell apart from other Final Fantasy games because of the unique species like the lizard people known as Bangaa

  • Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Looking forward to what surprises PSX might bring :-)
