Developed entirely by a one-man team, Stardew Valley garnered immense praise during its initial launch on PC. Now the country-life RPG comes to PS4, bringing with it an incredibly rich experience filled with colorful characters. Build up your farm, cultivate the land, delve into the local mine, and even win love. Stardew Valley honors the classic RPG tradition of the Harvest Moon series and is sure to capture the hearts of the PlayStation community around the world.

So, given that PSVR is its own platform, can we expect PlayStation+ offerings for it like we do PS3, PS Vita, and PS4?

    four24twenty said:

    December 9th, 2:18 pm

    Probably in 2019

    KazeEternal said:

    December 9th, 2:48 pm

Probably right lol. Was expecting them to try to offer us PlayStation Worlds at launch at the very least. PS4 got some titles when it launched.

    four24twenty said:

    December 9th, 3:29 pm

I don’t know what their data says, but dropping an old system to support a new system would be nice at the least. Although that would upset so many people, it would entice people to get on board after accumulating a library of games.

    Akmaljon said:

    December 9th, 9:14 pm

    @four24twenty, I am agree

    KnightRid said:

    December 10th, 4:41 am

LOL – 2019 someone said….I imagine they will drop support for it totally before then as it will fall into the Vita category at some point due to lack of titles and people losing interest as fast as they have in 3D.

Hyper Void was offered as one of the PS3 games this month, but it is also available through cross buy for PS4 and it has a patch for VR. Why on earth PS Plus did not advertise that I will never know. You think they would cover the advantages of cross buy in their monthly offerings better since it looks like a better deal for customers, but I guess they haven’t clued into that yet.

    four24twenty said:

    December 10th, 11:01 am

Thank you sir for passing along this information as PlayStation has failed to do so. NEXUSPRIME007 you should get a job at Sony and share your genius business strategy.

    December 11th, 12:10 pm

    Kaze and four24Twenty,

If u bothered to look it up you’d know that Hyper Void is free on PS+ this month, and YES IT IS A PSVR TITLE. It’s available on PSVR, PS4, and PS3.

    iamtylerdurden1 said:

    December 11th, 12:16 pm

You do realize that making this the 1st comment of the thread and being woefully wrong makes u and the other ppl taking unwarranted shots at PlayStation look somewhat foolish, don’t u?

To the guy trying to say Vita has no support, did u watch PSX? Gio Corsi..

    four24twenty said:

    December 11th, 8:45 pm

If you read the PS Blogpost for Plus games in December, you will see Hyper Void isn’t advertised as being cross buy with PS4 or PSVR. Go check it out.

    otaku_no_bfm said:

    December 13th, 9:39 am

We just got Hyper Void for free this month, which is a cool game, btw. PS4 is the platform the software runs on, so I doubt we’ll see PSVR separated out or free games that are VR-only.

I just watched a movie called Fat City, but the game doesn’t look like a unsentimental look at amateur boxers in Stockton, CA. :) I wanted to play I Expect You to Die at PSX, but the line was always too long. Here’s hoping it’s a good one!

If anyone is wondering about the Stardew Valley release date, since PlayStation doesn’t seem to want to reveal the release date (as of December 9th), the official website for the game says the release date is set for December 13th for the NA region.

    AizawaYuuichi said:

    December 9th, 3:30 pm

You mean, in this article that you posted on, wherein they announce it’s releasing next week, and without any notification that it’s releasing on a day OTHER THAN the normal store update on Tuesday the 13th, that they aren’t announcing that it’ll release next week on the 13th? Because the only games that get tagged with specific dates on The Drop are games that don’t release on the normal Tuesday game release day, which next week is the 13th. The day that all these games that aren’t tagged otherwise are releasing, including Stardew Valley.
Could you perhaps let everyone know when Trove or Bridge Constructor are releasing, since they’re included in The Drop, but Sony didn’t feel a need to tell us when the games will actually release… because that’s apparently not the whole point of this article…

    /smh

say what ever happen to that Flying Bunny game that they said on the last drop that was supposed to be release on 8th digitally? I tried to look it up many times and I can barely find any info on this game. There is no trailer and no company info. All I can find was just this one piece of art for it and a small description about the game on the last drop and that is it. I beginning to wonder if this game really exists?

Seriously. Worst week ever. I bet that Starpew Valley even has support for PS Pro. These are the kind of the games that really make use of the horsepower of the PS4 platform. And you know I’m not being serious. I’ll never understand the desire to play PS1 era games on a PS4 and a low budget hand-me-down PC title at that.

For future Drop segments, there should be separate sections for PS4 and PSVR. Scrolling through them, seeing how their mixed, tells me that there are many standard games being released, or VR games, but only one or two standard games.
