WipEout Omega Collection: Listen to the Full Soundtrack

28 new and classic music tracks confirmed for the anti-grav racer’s return.

With two weeks to go to until the June 6 launch of Wipeout Omega Collection, we’re stoked to finally reveal the full soundtrack, featuring a mix of Wipeout legends like The Prodigy and The Chemical Brothers, plus unreleased tracks from breaking artists.

Electronic dance music has always been part of the DNA of Wipeout and the original games were key in introducing new artists to a worldwide audience. We’ve kept true to that philosophy on Omega – tapping into the wealth of exciting artists out there.

From the raw drum n’ bass of Memtrix to the stripped down electro-house of Dillon Francis & NGHTMRE, all with the energy to propel you even faster around the track!

  • Sounds great!! I’m looking forward to hearings these tracks while playing the game at launch!

  • Sounds good!
I hope someone is working on a brand new Wipeout and giving it the love it deserves.

As a matter of fact, why don’t we plan for PS5 launch next holiday? I’ll be there with my 579.99 Canadian + tax. Don’t leave me hanging.

    • I personally have my money on them announcing PS5 this year, to mess with the Scorpio and Switch’s chance of catching up, during E3 but I bet it will be 2 more years till it actually launches or a year and a halfish.

I think Sony is going to wait on the Zen to come out, and build on a Vega Zen hybrid. Though if Sony builds the PS5 correctly, the PS5 can be a PS4 Pro-Pro which means we’d have PS4 backwards compatibility, and games could render at 4k 60fps for older generation games no issue.

That’s like the perfectness though. That would make it to where Playstation truly becomes a platform. All your games from here on out not only being backwards compatible but rendered at higher performance, and without having to deal with the army of PC trolls, and having to try and compete with people who have triple monitors, and 2k dollar rigs. Oh and less carpal tunnel too!

    • I feel like it’s way too soon for another iteration of the Playstation. The Prohasn’t even been out for a full year.

  • Ritsuishida

Just watched the Soundtrack reveal Livestream and it was awesome! Love the fact that WipEout Omega Collection will be getting some epic soundtracks!

  • Seriously? Spotify and not Apple Music…..

    • Yeah… uh… Sony has a deal with Spotify. They do not have a deal with Apple Music. Both Apple Music and Spotify have the same number of users if you take their unique monthly usage rates, and multiply it by 0.25 and 0.19 which are respectively their stickiness (how many people who try the service subscribe to said service) so really they’ll hit the same number of users either way.

They’ll just be slightly less pretentious with Spotify. :P

  • Too bad they couldn’t get Firestarter from the original WipEout on here.
I always associate that with WipEout.

    • Prodigy and custom soundtracks. Booya. Plus if you are a college student Spotify is like $5 a month. I don’t know if you are, but since Spotify app works with the PS4 it seems like a good pick. Though you can also just load up a flash drive. I can’t, but that’s because I have an external hard drive and a PSVR unit… But people who don’t have both USB ports occupied could lol.

    • I still have my CD copy of the Wipeout XL Soundtrack (ripped to a HDD too) and I purchased the OG Wipeout PS1 soundtrack from ColdStorage on his website. I will download the Pure Soundtrack at some point and add that in the mix too. Custom soundtracks FTW!

  • Come someone please clarify the following two details? In North America, does Van Uber come with both the digital and physical versions? If so, is it a pre-order bonus, is it a code for people who purchase new copies of the game, or does it come as a standard part of the game?

  • Swedish House Mafia. Really?

Bring back the Soundtrack from Wip3out.

    • Or get all the old tracks into a Spotify Playlist, or download them to a USB drive and have your own best personal soundtrack for the Wipeouts!

  • Nice! Listening now.

  • I have a stupid amount of love for this.

Hope you guys add VR support at some point.

  • This soundtrack is amazing! Great job guys.
