Tickets Update: We’re looking into issues users are having getting tickets to this year’s E3 Experience. Stay tuned for updates.

5/31 Update — Some changes and updates on ticket and seat availability:

  • Ticket registration will open today, Wednesday 5/31/17, at 1:30PM PT.
  • There was a brief system test last night which allowed a small number of tickets to be claimed. As of this morning there are still plenty of tickets remaining at each theater.
  • If you received a ticket confirmation email you are guaranteed a seat at the event if you present your valid ticket at least 30 minutes before show time.
  • We will be admitting those without tickets on a first-come first-served basis after all present ticket holders are seated.

E3 is almost here and I’m excited to announce that the PlayStation E3 Experience is returning for 2017! Join us on Monday, June 12th in over 85 theaters across the United States, Canada, and Latin America.

This is the fourth year we’re broadcasting our E3 Press Conference live to theaters across North America and I can’t wait to bring the excitement of E3 straight to you. Watching the announcements and news alongside other members of the PlayStation community is an experience like no other.

Attendees will take home an exclusive poster and #76 from the PlayStation Collectable Card series. This will be the only way to get your hands on these, so don’t miss out! Want more than just limited edition swag? We’ve got you covered — everyone will also get a digital gift basket chock-full of goodies from PlayStation Store.

Tickets for US and Canada

Tickets are 100% free and will be available at playstation.com/E3experience starting Tuesday, May 30th at 10:00 AM PT while supplies last. To register for a ticket, you will need to create a free Gofobo account. Tickets will be sent to the email address used to create your Gofobo account.

Attendees who have registered for a ticket will be seated on a first-come, first-served basis until the theater reaches capacity. Make sure to arrive early! Receiving a ticket does not guarantee you a seat. Attendees must be 17 years of age or older to attend this event. A valid form of ID providing age will be required to enter.

      You just join the waitlist and once all ticket holders enter the theater, there will be a separate line (first come first serve) of people who didn’t get tickets until it fills up

      I was on the waitlist last year, so I went at 9am to be sure

      I was one of the ones that has been trying since 10:00PST AM yesterday. And I got nothing. They did not give much notice it would be available at 1 and now LA is full.

      I just feel so sad and angry right now. I don’t think I will go by my self. I wanted to go with dome friends. I was gonna get one ticket for me and a friend. But With wait listed I think I can get one. I just feel like I am gonna cry right now.

    Next year Sony should just buy a t-shirt cannon and shoot the tickets from their rooftop, I’m sure it would be a dramatically more effective way to distribute the tickets than what these GOBOFO jokers accomplished this year.

      Pochi: Tickets were available on May 31st @12:30 right. I tried for 30 min. to get in but all it told me was that I needed a screening code, like what the hell. I couldn’t find it. Horrible system. Same goes for Microsoft, I tried getting tickets for E3 conference but the page just kept on crashing.

    Make sure to double check the name on your ticket. When I downloaded the pdf they sent me, it had someone else’s name on it. Ended up having to get two more.

    So no Mississippi venues this year? That really sucks, man! I’ve been to the last 2 but this year you won’t be in Gulfport, MS like you have been. Hope your able to add more venues (in states that aren’t having it this year) if possible.

    Yay, I got a pass. Looks like the event wasn’t actually full yesterday for Houston. Sucks that it took this long to claim a pass though. Maybe next year they’ll be more prepared.

      It’s still finicky but I finally got it to go through. It kept showing the “INVALID CODE” screen for quite a number of tries but I eventually got it to complete the request for the theater in Tucson, AZ.

    Yeah ! Just got my tickets for the event in Tucson, AZ.

    Well despite the online issues, I am really glad you are doing this E3 Theater Experience again this year. It is fun being in a movie theater packed with Playstation fans, getting to hear all the E3 announcements. Getting to talk with other fans before and after the press conference is a lot more enjoyable than just watching at home. I hope you keep doing this every year but maybe just go with a more reliable 3rd party site next time :)

    One day I hope to be able to attend the E3 press conference in person (I’ve really enjoyed getting to go to ones at PSX) but until then this is a nice alternative.

    I got in late last night soon after they updated that they’ve shut down the site, and both LA locations were sold out already so I got in on the wait list. Then I figured they would reset today but looks like those people with direct links kept tickets from yesterday.

    Didn’t see the time in update today (which should’ve been a bigger heads up than a couple hours honestly), and they were sold out around 3:15pm PT again. So correct me if I’m wrong that LA tickets were never available today.

    Spent many hours yesterday and all a waste of time. I’m embarrassed by this as a spectator let alone a fan and it killed some hype of the presentation for sure. Good job Sony.

      I’d never heard of GoHobo before this and I’m never gonna deal with them again so I don’t care. What I will remember though for a long time is how Sony handled this whole thing, specifically how they didn’t understand all the frustration from yesterday in repeating in today, as if they didn’t read the comments here or care enough to understand and respect me or my time.

    And from you folks:

    “If you received a ticket confirmation email you are guaranteed a seat at the event if you present your valid ticket at least 30 minutes before show time.”

    How exactly are you ensuring this statement? Is Gofobo deviating from their regular business model for this event?

    Single worst experience. Sony you need to get your **** together. First the site crashes on the initial launch day. Then the following day you give a joke of a time frame for notification that the tickets will be going live. I was out and did not have access to a computer. Tried to grab tickets on my iPhone, was able to get to the screen to claim 2 tickets, then the **** show that is gobofo.com doesn’t have a proper mobile site. So every time I enter my info to log into the site it clears out what event I’m signing up for. Needless to say I wasn’t able to claim my tickets and by the time I was able to get on a pc the show is now full. What the heck Sony and PlayStation? Whoever in PR or Marketing/Event Planning needs to stop cutting corners and spend the money to get a reputable event hosting site. This is the 4th year this event has taken place and it’s terrible every year with this year being the worst. It should be getting better not worse.

    Hi Guys! And Gals. Just wanted to say did get tickets to my event in my hometown in Houston. I actually work at the theatre the show is presenting in. Last year I didn’t get the badge with goodies so that’s why I actually tried getting tickets. Also want to say I got a really cool bond with some of the people on the comments section but also alot of rude selfish people. Thank u guys couldn’t of made it today without y’all!

      I’m confused too Dru_Drizzle. I’m wait listed from Indianapolis. I wasn’t given an option on how many tickets I wanted and like you, I was told not to come to the theatre without a pass.

      You try and show up early.
      They usually got at least half the seats accounted for but usually find the space for the rest of the folks that just show up.

      Only thing is that they got Gofobo’s stupid “don’t show up, you won’t get a seat” ponce.
      If half of the folks up here got more than one set it’s gonna be a funny night.
      They need to check ID on everyone.

I Went To Gofobo To Get My Free Ticket But When The Process Was Done It Said On A Piece Of Paper I Printed That My Ticket Has Already Been Redeemed But I Did Not Get A Email That Has My Ticket. How Do I Know If I Got My Free Ticket Or Not?

    tried this the moment I could, but site was down. So tried the next day and of course the event is “full” (which I find hard to believe, especially in my hometown). I checked the theaters website and this event isn’t even listed on that date yet. And here I am a week later, I’m on the “wait list” and nothing else has changed.

    Did ANYONE get a ticket to this thing? I feel like it’s a joke.

    So Gofobo says not to show up unless you have a pass, but on here it says that if you show up you may get in? Which is correct? I don’t want to make the trip if there’s absolutely no chance that I’ll get in. Last year they had a line for people with no tickets. Will that be the case this year?
