Welcome back! This month, NetherRealm’s acclaimed superhero brawler Injustice 2 leads the charge on the PS4 top downloads list, with a bloodthirsty Jason Voorhees lurking behind it in Friday the 13th: The Game. Farpoint launched at number 1 on the PlayStation VR chart, but Star Trek Bridge Crew made an impressive debut considering its late-in-the-month release date.

Read on for the full list of top downloads for May. If you missed out on any of these games, head on over to PlayStation Store to pick ’em up!

Doesn’t help that every early review was like don’t touch it till it’s patched since it’s a broken game on every platform. Hopefully Bethesda will stop releasing broken games and actually pay for beta testing… but since they stopped releasing review copies… i figure their games will keep needing tons of patch work till their worth playing.

If a PSVR game sold well enough to be in the PS4 top 20 would it show up there or will there always be a differentiation between PS4 and PSVR charts no matter how well PSVR games sell?

I think it depends on if its exclusive for PSVR or like Resident Evil and it’s dual. Or that makes sense to me.

Did I miss some sort of super sale on The Order: 1886??? I mean how the in the world did it make number 4 in the top PS4 games sold years after its release…

It was $4 during one of the sales.

Catherine is on the PS3 charts! I am so glad to see more people buying that game. It is one of my favourites of all time, and is such an underrated game overall.

I was one of those new purchases. Couldn’t pass it up for $5. It’s been on my radar for years and just never got around to buying it. Looking forward to playing it after the kids are in bed.
Also got Persona 4 Golden for $9. Another great deal.

You are in for a real treat Yentair. It is a fantastic experience, and in my eyes the greatest puzzle game ever made.

Had to hold off on farpoint with injustice 2 and tekken 7 having released so close. Farpoint deserves success from what I’ve seen and injustice 2 is definitely great. Bravo

I had a feeling Friday the 13th would be #1 or close to it. Great to see other games like Little Nightmares, Outlast 2, and Statik doing well too. Congrats to Farpoint on being the number 1 selling VR title of the month although a little surprised that many people opted for the digital version without the Aim controller.

Glad to see PlayStation All-Stars hit the charts. Just put the original on PS4 already, I can’t believe it isn’t on the PS4 yet.

I’m a little bit surprised to see that Friday the 13th: The Game didn’t take the number one spot since it doesn’t currently have physical copies but Injustice 2 I think sold more than Warner Bros. was anticipating because it was sold out on Amazon and in stores.

Glad The Caligula Effect: is on there. Just wish it had a physical release…

So glad that Steins;Gate on PS3 and Vita, as well as Steins;Gate Zero broke into their respective Top 10 lists. The story is nothing short of amazing, and the voice cast do an incredible job of transmitting the emotion. I hope everyone who bought them enjoys them.

I got Steins;Gate Zero and I’m still playing it. Loving the story so far, but not loving the great number of syntax and grammar errors. It’s obvious the QA on Zero was not as stringent…

I’m always curious when i see these lists. How many people actually bought the games? Was 20th place only one purchase or a thousand….?
