Can you update the way we select cars from our garage, specifically the first line of cars? The default set-up is not very intuitive and a bit of a pain to be honest. Love the game, keep the updates coming and thank you from a fan since Gran Turismo 1!

Hello! I’m on the fence about buying this game because most of the cars that I saw on the car list didn’t really appeal to me. You guys should bring a variety of cars, not just mostly super cars. I remember you guys were the first game back in the day to have the Honda prelude, which is currently my pride and joy sitting in my driveway…but I wouldn’t mind Silvia’s, 3000gts, delta s4, Subies, Renault 5 turbo, s2000, civic ek, ae86, rx7s and including different generations for every car seeing as every generation was different with different specs and dimension/weight ratios. I really REALLY want to buy this game and I probably will, but I would ABSOLUTELY LOVE if you guys brought tuner, rally, hatchies, even drag race cars would be awesome!!! Thanks guys for taking the time to read my comment :)

Great, this is i super update for a super game!!

Thank you polyphony dygital, I love you!!!

I want to love this game, but it’s the weakest lineup of cars and tracks since the original Gran turismo on PS1!

Where are all the classic GT tracks? Since Polyphony created them, there is no licencing to deal with, and they’d already have all the track data from previous games in the series. Those tracks alone could nearly double the amount of content in this game.

I find myself going back to Gran turismos 6 and 4 when I want to race these days, while ‘Sport’ just sits on my shelf gathering dust, which is very sad.

    KingDubin said:

    January 25th, 6:05 pm

Then, why did you even buy the game if you didn’t know what GT Sport was even about? It was common knowledge going back to the Copper Box event in London almost two years ago that this was going to be a totally different gameplay experience compared to past GTs (especially compared to GT4 & GT6, the two games that you mentioned in your OP), and yet you STILL bought the game anyway knowing (or worst yet, not knowing) what to expect? I swear, you complainers who literally DEMAND that PD do this or that are ruining the game for the people who love it like me more than anything else that anybody has done in-game. PEACE OUT.

    SZRT_CIC_Ice said:

    January 29th, 12:17 pm

We wouldn’t have many of these fan favorite tracks, a livery editor, or specific vehicles if the GT Community didn’t request (or as you say, “complain about”) them. PD is one of the few quality devs that actually pay attention to their community. And some of the features that make you love the game so much, were implemented in direct response to community feedback.

So instead of “complaining about “complainers” (thus making yourself a complainer in the process), you should thank the community and PD for making an effort and working together to make a better game. Inovation and evolution doesn’t come from being content. It’s born from striving to do and be better. If GT didn’t make changes people requested, GT Sport would be a diiferent GT altogether, and likely for the worse.

The only requests I see here, would provide YOU with more tracks to drive on and its making clear to PD that we find that important. I am utterly astounded that you feel THESE requests are “ruining the game for you”. People like you set progress back 100 steps every time we move 3 steps forward. Just go and enjoy the game you love so much and stop trying to hinder those who wish to keep GT Sport relevant to everyone, and not just you.

Looks like a great update. I would love if a Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 would be added. It would be great to have all of the old Japanese “supercars”.

AMEN! They release the GTR, Supra, RX7 and can’t do the 3000GT or 300ZX. Guess what, more GT’s and Z’s were produced than all of the GTR’s, Supra’s, and RX7’s. How about bring in some REAL tracks. Laguna Seca, Viriginia International Raceway, Road Atlanta, etc.

    Rinki07 said:

    January 25th, 11:28 am

SZRT_CIC_Ice said:

January 25th, 11:47 am

GT League needs Trophy Support and prize cars. It lacks progression.

It also needs Rally events. I’d recommend some mixed surface rally courses that are narrow like real rally courses, and travels through forestation, fields, cliffsides, and villages… kinda like how real rally courses do.

You can’t update a game’s trophies unless it’s a DLC pack. So that won’t happen.

    Sonic54978 said:

    January 26th, 8:09 am

You DO actually earn prize cars in this game, if you complete the offline campaign events.

    SZRT_CIC_Ice said:

    January 26th, 1:23 pm

I said “GT League”. The updated game mode that was added to the Campaign Mode. I said nothing about the Circuit Experience, Driving School, or Mission Challenges which I already got 100% on and received ONE EXCLUSIVE PRIZE CAR (The GT-R Safety Car). You can literally win EVERY OTHER CAR from the Daily Workout.

Will we ever be able to race every mode in PSVR? This could have been a PSVR system seller, but as it is, it’s nothing more than a tech demo. Dirt Rally set the bar and yall didn’t even try to reach it.

    KBG29 said:

    January 25th, 12:40 pm

Couldn’t agree more. GTS in PSVR with a Wheel is the best expereince I have had on PS4, but it is severly lacking. The sad part is, this tech demo is a better expereince than the part they are focusing on.

I would love to see them put together a GT League in PSVR even if it was mostly Timed Challanges, and 1v1 races. So much potential in this, just needs to be tapped.

    SZRT_CIC_Ice said:

    SZRT_CIC_Ice said:

    January 26th, 1:26 pm

Agreed. Especially being a first party Sony Developer. In terms of VR Support & Trophy Support, Evolution Studios did better with DriveClub. But that took years, and GT Sport is merely a few months in, so there’s still time.

The livery editor needs more functionality.

Multi-select functionality. So that we can delete, copy, paste, move, rotate, resize, flip, and mirror multiple decals at a time.

A check box for mirroring so the decals mirror automatically to the opposite side as you design one side.

A check box for flipping (vertical & horizontal) so decals with words can be flipped automatically.

“Replace” functionality, so that can have the same size, skew, stretch, and color parameters without the need to do it by eye. Shapes can also be replaced or duplicated easier for effects like shadows, etc.

Check box to “Invert Decal”, so the decal works as an “eraser” that shows the paint underneath in the shape of the decal you choose.

    Jay-Raybeamin said:

    January 25th, 2:48 pm

I completely agree with this comment. It can be tedious having completed one side of a car with 200+ added stickers, then realizing you have to paste all of it individually to the otherside.

SZRT_CIC_Ice said:

January 25th, 12:33 pm

Racing Items and Wheels should be separate from the decals for numerous reasons.

Wheels should NOT be a part of the livery editor. They should have their own folder, and even allow a “Favorites” folder so they can be easier to find.

People have different tastes in wheels, and would often choose different wheels for downloaded liveries.

It would also be easier to identify players if Racing items and Wheels are different, if there is more than one with the same livery.

We also need more variety in the way wheels are painted. The paint covering the whole wheel, often ruins the look of it. There are currently on a few wheels that can be painted in a unique way (Work XSA04C is one example).

    Jay-Raybeamin said:

    January 25th, 2:51 pm

Different tastes, definitely . Ive made liveries for friends and they might love it but completely hate my selection of wheels.

More cars and tracks to try drive around in VR. Just wish I wasn’t forced to play on the TV in order to earn cash to buy these new rides.

Please bring us the ability to earn cash and experience in VR. Allow us to run Practice Laps in VR. Let use build custom races in VR, even if only 1v1. If in any way possible, let us do 1v1 online races in VR.

GTS in VR has finally delivered The Real Driving Simulator, and it is the only way I want to play GT going forward.

SZRT_CIC_Ice said:

Player Names on during Replay should be optional. It takes up to much space, looks bad, and breaks the immersion. Some people would have trouble telling a replay from real life if it wasn’t for the names that hover over the cars.

SZRT_CIC_Ice said:

January 25th, 12:43 pm

Daily workout has completely removed much of the sense of achievement, and made people not care about their car collection. When we get rewarded every day with million dollar GR. 1, N1000, & GR. X cars for basically doing nothing, and the GT League rewards nothing exclusive for our efforts, it makes our garage have less value. Our garages aren’t tailored to our achievements and purchases. The majority is cars people don’t drive or even care about. It is bad game design for the long term player.

    Jay-Raybeamin said:

    January 25th, 2:55 pm

Its good to reward players for their progression but only if they have earned it. Rewarding to heavily can quickly lead to boredom.

    SZRT_CIC_Ice said:

    January 26th, 1:35 pm

Exactly! We shouldn’t be grinding for the wheels & paints! We should be grinding for the CARS!

SZRT_CIC_Ice said:

Lobby options should include One Make, Tournament (playlist of races with a points tally), and Team (cumalitive points for co-op racing).

Arcade Mode needs an online mode, that automatically generates events for people to join using garage vehicles in every class. One make, N class, Hp, weight restrictions, and B.O.P. should vary at random.

Can you guys please stop complaining about “lack of content” you have to remember it takes a lot longer and more money and time to create content now compared to back on Ps1, also remember what game this is… do you really think after every game they have givin us they are going to absolutely keep this one blank? Absolutely not they are going to make this game the best of all of them, look at it kinda like GTA 5, updates make that game better and better all the time. Stop whining and enjoy the game knowing they WILL for sure deliver. Also remember at the very start they even said they wanted to try something new, it didn’t work out the way they planned so they are now building around it FOR US.
Let them do their work, instead of negative comments, how about posting what you want to see in a future update is a positive manner, And I’m sure they will deliver like they have shown us so far.

    SZRT_CIC_Ice said:

    January 29th, 12:29 pm

Why do people like you think we shouldn’t make clear the improvements that we want? Do you really think letting THEM know exactly what would make it better to US, is WORSE then saying nothing and letting them guess? I personally hate guessing games. My X used to do that, so you could probably “guess” why she’s my X. Make clear the things you want in your life and persue them. Sitting by idly and hoping it will happen at random on its own is foolish in my opinion.

Guiltyspark21 said:

Like for me is love to see track creator come back and an app with it, let us make our own tracks, with ability to add our own ads on signs like decals, cosmetics like trees, ponds, audience ect :)

    Xanzar said:

    January 26th, 8:04 pm

@Guiltyspark21 First off there’s no drag mode, the decision to not include drag racing was a seriously bad one. Secondly car modification is severely lacking , it shouldn’t be too difficult for a company like polyphony to reach out to a few well renowned aftermarket companies for suspension, drive-train and body component models/data. Third who wants a half-baked VR component , that requires you to leave VR to complete content; feels kinda tacked on. Fourth why in the world aren’t there GT1, Rally Group S&B , and Group C cars in the game; these are a gear-heads favorite groups and there is no significant content for them. That right there is reason enough for anyone to jump ship. Let this be a warning to POLYPHONY if you guys don’t get your crap together and start adding content that MOTORSPORT fans actually want, WE WILL LEAVE JUST AS SONY DID WHEN THE VITA DIDN’T SELL ENOUGH UNITS. YOU(POLYPHONY) ARE REPLACEABLE.

Xanzar said:

January 26th, 7:36 pm

Would be nice if you polyphony could add the SARD MC8, Elise GT1, CLK GTR, EB110, CCGT, XJ220,R390 GT1, and 911 GT1 to the game, you know do something for the fans of niche low production homologation cars.
Its a crying shame that a fan of both GT and the GT1 class has to say this, honestly it feels like you guys have lost touch with your fanbase.

    Xanzar said:

    January 26th, 7:40 pm

Almost forgot about the GT90 .
P.S my voice may be small alone but together I’m sure we can knock some sense into polyphony.

Xanzar said:

January 26th, 8:03 pm

They’ve shown us a complete lack of understanding, look man I know your a fan just like us; but you’ve gotta admit taking away the ability to store your save data on your own console is crossing a line.

    pm12345 said:

    January 28th, 8:25 am

You’re absolutely right. The lack of offline saving is ill conceived and staggeringly stupid. If they would fix that blunder, I could be patient for the remainder of their patches. The only other thing I would ask, is for the 787B to return. It seems anymore that companies are releasing incomplete games, just to get the great money pump started, then patch the hell out of them with DLC.

SZRT_CIC_Ice said:

January 29th, 1:05 pm

We seriously need an “Online Arcade” mode. The open lobbys & Sport mode has too much waiting and too little variety. Very few Rally or N. Class races. It should be automated like DriveClub and cycles through tracks and vehicle classes automatically. Giving people a chance to try various class and track variations.

The Categories should be:

One Make Series (BOP)
One Make Series (Unrestricted)
GR. 4 Series (BOP)
GR. 4 Series (Unrestricted)
GR. 3 Series (BOP)
GR. 3 Series (Unrestricted)
Street Series (BOP)
Street Series (Restricted by N. Class)
GR. B Series (BOP)
GR. B Series (Unrestricted)
Endurance Series (BOP)
Endurance Series (Unrestricted)

Players choose a “Competition Level” before choosing a series to enter. Colors indicating difficulty level.

Blue = Casual (No tire wear, damage, light penalties, 3-5 lap races, etc.).
Yellow = Intermediate (Mid range sttings @ 5 – 8 laps)
Red = Professional (Fully race regulated @ 8-20 laps)

Endurance races should all have the same time limits, but diiferent degrees of regulation.

Driving in vr with a force feedback wheel is amazing.
Have about 10 hours of playtime in normal mode, and only to reach level 20 to unlock all vr track’s.
I’ve easily played twice that time in vr! And the game is not enjoyable without vr.. I simply can’t force myself to play the game on a TV to get new cars.
Without multiplayer and career in vr, the game will die..

Please add the new Ford Fusion/Mondeo, just like you had in previous GT game, the car pick is so small, and race tracks are a small pick, it’s a such a huge difference, in your previous GT you had over 1,000 cars, and twice the amount of tracks…
What’s up with this? Now I payed for full digital edition and not a huge variety of cars and tracks, it’s kind of ridiculous don’t you think?
And remove the race numbers, I want to race and show off my design, not the huge number you randomly give me that all over my car
