Fantastic Moss interview! Also, sorry Justin but I’m with Kristen on Black Panther. and here’s why… Killmonger. As good as the MCU is one of the biggest issues it’s always had is non memorable villains. Do any of you remember the villain from the first Iron Man? How about Ant-Man? Even if you remember them because the names are iconic like Red Skull, they don’t stand out as anything more than cliche cartoon villains for the most part. It wasn’t until Michael Keaton’s portrayal of the Vulture that I really felt like Marvel was starting to listen to its fans about needing more fleshed-out villains. And I feel like killmonger took that a step further. How do I say this without spoiling anything? By the end of the movie I didn’t hate him I just hate what he wanted to do and if anything I felt bad for him… I can’t say that about any other MCU villain besides the vulture honestly. Every last one of them are cartoon evil. But these newer ones are more along the lines of tragically misunderstood.

Also, Kristen, after you finally finish ffvii first, watch Advent Children and then please please please make Final Fantasy X the next one you play. It’s my favorite, I am a little biased because it was my introduction to the series but it has my favorite combat system, and my favorite story. I feel like anyone who doesn’t shed at least a tear or two by the end of that game might not be human lol

Fantastic episode as always! long live the blogcast!
