@BrianDunn You guys should give players the option to stream the games at 1080p. I mean, c’mon it’s 2018. Why can’t we play these games at a higher quality? It can’t possibly be that difficult. I love the service though, so I’m glad to see it get better.

    Hello everybody,
basically, I have to say that they are fantastic games that were also added this month.

I would like to have more PS1 to PS4 games.
    – Driver 1
    – Driver 2
    – Driv3r (Driver 3)
    – Driver Parallel Lines
    – Driver San Francisco
    – Blur
    – Medal of Honor Frontline
    – Smugglers Run 2
    – Midnight Club 3 DUB Editing Remix
    – Need for Speed Underground 1
    – Need for Speed Underground 2
    – GTA 4

And above all, as already mentioned, immediate exclusive titles from Sony.

Priced I have to say I’m ready to pay the current contribution of € 14.99 if the games are extended as described above.

This is great but EVERY PlayStation exclusive that’s at least a few years old, should be on PS NOW. Games like:
PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale
Jak & Daxter (1-X)
Ratchet & Clank Collection
Twisted Metal Black
inFamous Second Son/First Light
The Order: 1886
Drive Club
Gran Turismo 6

Xbox is putting all of their new exclusives on Game Pass the day they release. At the very least we can get are ALL of PlayStation’s old exclusives. It’s not like it would be difficult acquiring the rights. It’s THEIR GAMES.

I fail to see how MS is making money like this? I mean no one is buying these games. Just trying out the free trail and then canceling the service after it’s done. But the rest I agree. The above games are old and would be great on PS Now. Even though some where free.

This is actually a good Idea, I love the service and mainly my 8yr old Nephew plays it but having PlayStation older games on here is a great idea. Like Knack came on I actually enjoyed playing it as much as my Nephew did!

1. 1080p game streaming
2. $9.99 a month for PS Plus members
3. More PS2 games
4. EVERY past PlayStation exclusive

^This needs to happen. $10 a month for PS+ users is a must!

    rdurbin20 said:

    June 5th, 10:22 am

Well at 100 a year, it’s cheaper than 10 a month. It’s about 8.30, they just need to make that deal permanent

    Warped said:

    June 5th, 12:18 pm

Yeah, either price should drop like this, or the annual $99 price needs to be permanent. I have the $99 for the year and when I explain it to people they like that price but once they go to try it that one is not always there!

I would be much more willing to try and use you service if you had local download support for PS4 games you offer through PSnow. take a look at Microsoft’s GamePass model, they allow you to download the full game locally to play with no streaming lag.

    T4rd_ said:

    June 5th, 8:58 pm

That would mean that the PS4 would have to support emulation for backwards compatibility, which Sony is clearly opposed to.

UltiGamer500 said:

June 5th, 8:17 am

I like that you guys are now offering PS Now for $9.99 a month for PS Plus members. I think that is a very fair and reasonable price if you subscribe to both memberships. But it should be a permanent option though. It’d give an incentive to subscribe to both programs and would surely boost the sub count for PS Now.
But like I said, I’m glad it’s a step in the right direction. And I agree with OnyxBreed, there should be an option to play these games in a higher quality if your internet can handle it. Its 2018

Thanks Sony for the new games. However, why offer 3 month’s for $30 and not 1 month for $10? What is the reasoning for this head scratcher? You would get $10 a month from me if I could get that sweet price of $10 a month. You need to make this change and stop being ridiculous with PSNow pricing.

    CrusaderForever said:

    June 5th, 9:30 am

Oh my bad, the $30 is only available until September?!!!! GASP! Please stop with this pricing model and make it permanent. PS+ subscribers need to have more benefits then these limited time offers.

OnyxBreed said:

June 5th, 9:28 am

@BrianDunn Now, I like PS Now. It’s a great service and game streaming is definitely the future of the industry. Even Google and Microsoft are making their own streaming services. But there are some choices that are made that don’t make much sense to me. First, why aren’t all of PlayStation’s old exclusives on PS Now already? Not saying Sony needs to put thier new exclusives like God of War or Detriot on PS Now but, there’s no reason that their old exclusives aren’t already there. Even Until Dawn is on there and that’s a newer game.
Second thing, the price. Again I like PS Now, but $20 a month is ridiculous. It should be $9.99 for Ps Plus members. $20 a month for non-PS Plus members. And $99 for a one year. These should be permanent options. And lastly, we should be able to stream these games at 1080p. There’s no reason why this shouldn’t be possible if we have a strong connection. If you want people to subscribe and stream games then the quality should match that of a downloaded or a disc game.
Those are the three main things that Sony should be doing differently with PS Now. Again, great service, but if those improvements were implemented, PS Now would be so much better and more popular.

Oye, nothing that compelling here. I like the service overall, I wish I used it more to be honest, but I have a backlog of other games already. There’s some solid stuff already available for sure, I just wish we’d see some bigger titles added more regularly. I’m not sure how the revenue stream and profit looks from this kind of thing but if there’s room to narrow the margin in order to expand the number of users it would be a good time to consider this… there hasn’t been a big month in a while and usually you’d want one to go with your pricing promo.

Firefighters… had to look that one up… Just ouch.

    UltiGamer500 said:

In reply to Piscus B. ^ Yeah, I agree. It would make sense to introduce a promotion along side a big game. I had to look a lot of these games up tbh. Lol
But its whatever. There are still a bunch of great games on the service.

You know what I’ve, noticed? There are no Ubisoft, EA, or Activision games on PS Now subscription service. No Asassins Creed anymore, Tom Clancy, splinter cell, call of duty, battlefield, mass effect, far cry, madden, UFC, fifa, dragon age, portal, or dead space. It’d be cool if they could work out a deal to get some of those games on here. I’m sure they’ve tried or trying.

    Bkj_2_G0dly said:

Ea not having their games here kind of makes sense because they have EA Access, but why EA Access still hasn’t made it onto the PlayStation is still to me at lesst, a mystery.

The games and service is great here wit PS Now. But as a person that buys NEW PS4 games including some old games made for PS4 I don’t have the time to play them. PS4 takes all my time and I am retired I play from 3 to 8 hours in any given day. I have many games that are still in wraps I never opened yet.

This is the equivalent of waking up Christmas morning and finding nothing but coal in my stocking and gift wrapped poop sandwiches under the tree. I eagerly await the new game drops every month with excitement and anticipation. But, when your featured drop is just an update of a mediocre game that’s already on the service it just makes me feel like I pooped my pants. And I don’t like that feeling. Don’t get me wrong…I LOVE the service. I’m on the $100 plan and it’s worth every penny. I don’t even care about 1080p. Just give us ONE guaranteed AAA title a month. Is that too much to ask?

Please… Don’t make me feel like I pooped my pants next month.

I don’t have enough time to play video games to justify PS Now’s price. I already own a ton of games, then there’s PS Plus free games each month and getting new games too. What about something like Plus subscribers get unlimited streaming of X # of PS Now games a month? Especially since PS Plus is dropping free PS3 and Vita games in a few months, that’s a nice perk that replaces those lose titles and also may convert some people to permanent PS Now subscribers.

Ryumoau said:

June 5th, 4:30 pm

Could you please improve PS Now to apply us to download the games natively to our console, like Xbox does with Game Pass?

Streaming games just seems terrible with all the lag. The price is too high to not have a full experience.

It only lags if your connection isnt strong enough. If you can, try using an ethernet cable. I know ppl who connect with a wired connection and it has zero lag. If you have a strong enough connection, the gameplay is just like a downloaded game. Even xbox and google are making their own streaming services.

Tatanka2007 said:

I agree with a lot of other posts pointing out the substandard streaming at a premium price. More than that I’m not interesting in having my gaming collection being a digital rental and never knowing when a title will be randomly pulled. If Sony doesn’t do some form of backwards compatibility with PS5 and Microsoft does so out the starting gate, then next gen will flip back to MS. It’s too bad that Sony never continued backwards compatibility beyond the initial release of PS3. I have one with a fan mod so that it blows at a higher rate and a 1 TB HDD and it still works. It’s cool on occasion to find an old PS2 title on ebay and experience some gem of a game I missed.

June 5th, 5:43 pm

To bad it’s a terrible service for a garbage price…. Never going to make it unless streaming over “5G” in the distant future.

I agree with most with the digital only “never to be your game” shtuff I care not to be a part of. I want something tangible to possibly resell at a later time.

It saddens to see this too much investment from Sony into PSnow

some representative claimed ” back at 2013~4 ” that backward not needed due not many players use it

And now ? look at the PSnow with too many backwards support forced into a steaming-online-only locked behind a paywall.

I am worried it will become a trend everywhere like Xbox / Nintendo / next gen Sony etc.

I fear, this is all but greed/disrespect toward Gamers not as they claimed “a difficult emulation/programming”

At least they should give emulation/backward support for classic digital content of PS1/PS2 to be played on PS4

” why not some PSP titles as well”

June 6th, 1:11 am

Do not get psnow i just recently got the service to plat RDR now when i try and play any game on the service it says closing your last game sessions and just continues to load. I called sony and they did nothing asked me to wait 24hrs its been 3 days ..

Bottom line for me, the games I’ve loved for PS platforms just are not on here. I haven’t even demo’ed PS NOW because of it. PS2 greats like Syphon Filter, Tomb Raider: Legend, Marvel Avengers Alliance, Auto Modellista; PS3 games like Ridge Racer, Pac Man and the Ghostly Adventures, Incredible Hulk, Gran Turismo, CAPTAIN AMERICA (!!!) and platform-spanning titles like Metal Gear Solid series, Drake’s Fortune series, again, Ridge Racer and Tomb Raider series, and more. Right now, the selection is nonsensical, obscure, and DARK. Not letting my kids anywhere near that!

PlayStation 5 needs to have backwards compatibility. To Avoid cannibalization of PS Plus giving out free ps4 titles PlayStation should fuse ps now and ps plus together into one Subscription Service. Additionally there should be an option on PS now to download PS4 and PS5 games to your hard drive or stream it at 1080p if you like. PS3 games won’t have the option to download because of the cell architecture and will be streaming only. If PS5 is not Backwards Compatible with the PS4 Library day one then gamers will analyze other options more critically.

I love the service and use it regularly.
I would like to see PS2 games, TENCHU franchise, and Black
Anything Armored Core if they don’t release a trailer for E3 2018

    Xollas said:

    June 7th, 11:36 pm

Correction if Ps Plus and PS Now fuse then PS Now then you won’t have 2 subscription services giving out games. Think carefully about this befoe you launch PS5. Off topic remove the touch pad on the DS4 controller and keep it in mind that developers mostly use them As extra buttons when designing the backwards compatible DS5 controller.
