How did you leave out the Shenmue Collection that is launching at Retail and digital next week?

Anyway excited to pick up Shenmue Collection, Guacamelee! 2, Pizza Titan Ultra and maybe Brawlout and Slime Rancher. Great week overall.

I can’t believe you left Shenmue out. Shows how much you really care.

Yeah, I don’t get it either. Sony spent time at E3 2015 announcing and launching a dang Kickstarter campaign of all things for Shenmue 3. And I remember hearing a while back that Sony was helping fund it too.

How do you leave out Shenmue 1 & 2? Easily the biggest release of the week. Totally not professional. Anyways that’s what I’m playing next week

I’d hold off on buying Guacamelee! 2. The first one had about 3 different ‘enhanced’ versions with no upgrade path from one to the next. If you wanted the new version you had to buy the game again. I plan to wait a couple of years until the game is actually finished.

Isn’t it just two versions, technically? The game released on Vita and PS3 first, followed by PC which only included the DLC. The Super Turbo Championship Edition added new content, but that’s because the game was coming to a whole bunch of other platforms, including the new generation of consoles, so it was the obligatory incentive to buy or rebuy the game. No different from other games that come to new platforms. In any case, Severed doesn’t have exclusive content on the platforms beyond Vita at least, so maybe Drinkbox won’t feel compelled to make a Guacamelee 2 ____ Edition for PS5 and future platforms.

Also, there absolutely was an upgrade path. STCE on PS4 cost me about $5 when it first came out, thanks to owning the PS3/Vita version via PS+

I have the PS4 version because it was a free PS Plus game a few years back.
