Plus, this is your last chance to get 12 months of the game-streaming service for $99.99.

Brian Dunn's Avatar Posted by Senior Marketing Manager, PlayStation Now

It’s that time again! This month we have 10 new games joining the PlayStation Now library of over 650 PS4, PS3, and PS2 titles, led by the action RPG masterpiece Bloodborne from FromSoftware, creators of Demon’s Souls and Dark Souls. Also featured this month are racing sim Project Cars, fantasy RPG The Dwarves, action RPG God Eater: Resurrection, and racing game Moto Racer 4.

There are only a few weeks left to get in on our summer price promotion, which ends September 25. Try the PlayStation Now service for a full month at just $9.99 (new subscribers only) with our special intro offer, or get a full year for just $99.99. And if you’re a PlayStation Plus member, you can take advantage of the exclusive discount on the 3-month pass for PlayStation Now for just $29.99 ($44.99 regular price). Although note that in order to take advantage of the $9.99 intro offer, you will need to purchase that directly, as the 7-day trial will transition into the standard monthly subscription.

Also, we’ve recently updated PS Now so that subscribers can share access to the service’s 650+ games with friends who are non-subscribers on the same PS4 system! As long as you are subscribed to PS Now, your friends can play all the games, create their own list of games, as well as receive recommendations and user-specific personalization. Just make sure they’re playing on your primary PS4 system.

A complete list of all the new games available to stream on PS4 and PC starting today includes:

  • Aces of the Luftwaffe
  • Alchemic Jousts

Awesome thanks for putting these up :) Question Will we see any more updates to the ps now interface specifically a way to search for PS4,PS3 or PS2 games and will VR games come to PS NOW in the near future. I think it would be a great way to get more people to buy a head set if they knew they could play 20 VR games by just having a subscription to PS NOW :) Also wondering if we will get any PS1 games on the service as well. I think this would put PS NOW a head of every other service If we had 2 more consoles to choose from the amount of games could stay at 10 but if the variety would grow quite greatly. I understand if its hard to stream a VR game but PS1 shouldn’t be too much to stream. Also Are you guys able to stream PSP games onto the console or vita games this could be a quick way to grow the variety too :)

For those who are still on the fence. I recommend xfinity because their service caters to online gaming. Instead of buying a random game for 20$ just buy a subscription or if you new you can try 7 day trial plus 9$ starting now. You can also play PS NOW on your PC which means even if you don’t own a PS4 you can still play. and by the way their entire PS NOW library is playable on the PC too they add new games every month. You can play games you have missed and you can play games you may have been worried about buying or trying in the past.

Just went through the god of wars that I didn’t play on ps now, the graphical compression is terrible. Like half the resolution for good of war ascension. Yes, my ps pro is hardwired into a 100 mbps from spectrum, it’s definitely a problem with the service

FWIW, I have 150/150 from FiOS and almost never have visible compression artifacts, maybe a few frame stutters 2-3 times over an hour or so; I don’t think you can flatout say it’s the service itself, though you may have too many hops between you and the nearest PS Now datacenter

In June, Kotaku UK stated that PS Now will get download functionality for PS4 games in late September. I’m curious as to why there has been no official word about it so far. Has it been pushed back?

Hopefully when the feature is added there will be a download only tier that costs $10 to compete with Game Pass. $20 for what is available now is understandable considering the tech required to stream video games, but not many people are willing to pay that much.

Hey not all the games are on here god eater, bards gold and the dwarfs did not go on PS NOW they need to be added to it the other ones went on but those ones did not can you guys please put the other three onto the service?

1. Give players the option to stream games in 1080p.
2. Add all older PS exclusives.
3. Improve streaming performance by reducing impute lag and lowering latency.
4. The ability to stream spotify music while playing PS3 and PS2 games.
5. PS Now Mobile App for iOS and android phones and tablets.

If you guys made these improvements, it would make paying $99 a year for PS Now even more worth it.

Ok so you can get to the rest of the games going through the store but they don’t show up on the app you access on the XMB this makes me worried that all the games do not show up on the XMB app your guys app may need to be updated so it shows all of the games. I even tried to search for it as well just trying to help so the service can be as best as it can :)

PS Exclusives:
Jak & Daxter (1-X), Ratchet & Clank Collection, PS All Stars Battle Royale, Twisted Metal Black, Drive Club, Gran Turismo 6, The Order: 1886, inFamous Second Son/First Light

Third Party Games:
GTA IV (TBOGT & TLAD)
L.A. Noir
Metal Gear Collection
Mass Effect Trilogy
Metal Gear Solid Collection

I’ve been saying for months that Bloodborne should be added. So, I’m glad it finally was.

Onyxbreed- they can’t add all those because they need to make money on some of their games also rockstar already added reddead redemption. Also the Mass effect IP does not have any of their games on there you would have to go to them directly. Metal gear company almost never even puts their games on sale you have to go to the company and ask them to put their games on PS now. I do agree ratchet and clank should be on there and I think that it is on there I remember seeing those games on PS NOW. Naughty Dog already put the drake collection on there. they would not make any money if all their games were on PS NOW.

Indindosia- PlayStation can and should put all of their old exclusives on the service. They own the games, no one would stop them. And I’m talking about older exclusives like the ones I listed above, not newer ones. Yeah, they worked out a deal with rockstar to have Red Dead (which is great btw) but that doesnt mesn they csnt get another game. Unless the terms of the Red Dead deal meant they can only have 1 rockstar game. But we dont know. They have the PS3 Ratcher and Clank games, but they should have the PS2 ones as well. And it’s not like having the old uncharted games or the last of us on PS Now hindered Naughty Dog from making money off of those games. The nathan drake collection sold well. But I do agree with you when you said the UI does need an overhaul. They might as well just copy the way Netflix has its UI. And we should be able to stream in 1080p. 1080p and more PS exclusives. Those are the 2 biggest changes they can make.

    Indindosia said:

    September 4th, 5:09 pm

Ya I hope they make more deals with IPs to have more of their games on the service. I think they should make a deals with Activision i just hope they didnt already make a deal with EA on their streaming service. It would also be cool to have some PS1,PSVR and a few psp games on the service as well it would add to the variety and of course having square enux games would more than make it worth it as well as some old ubisoft games too. Ya the ratchet and clank collection should be on here they have the sly coper collection. they also need to put the sly collection under compilation games so its easier to find. Hopefully when the new 6.00 update comes out they add a overhaul to the UI system :)

I love VR but I dont think streaming VR games would work well. But they should start adding PS1 games. There are over 300 PS1 and PS2 games on the PS3 PS Store. Games like the original tomb raiders, old tekken, namco games and Disney games. If they started adding those games, that would definitely mix up the catalog. They used to have Tomb raider and all of the Assassins creed games on there but I guess the deal expired or Ubisoft and square changed their minds. Don’t know. But that’s one of the reasons why they should add their OWN exclusives first and foremost. But like I said; Improved visual quality (1080p) and more big games are my biggest concerns. I’m sure they’ll be some sort of improvement when 6.00 comes around.

Ya under latest addition the games I mentioned did not show up even if you search for them they do not show you. you have to access them from the PS store and then start them in PS now that is the work around I have found however they should be in the PS now App just letting you guys know hopefully they come up with a fix for this soon. I also think the PS NOW interface could use an update as well. So it is more or less like Netflix.

Also anytime you are in the PS NOW app and you pres the PlayStation button it takes you back to the XMB menu even when you are in the PlayStation store. If you are using the PS store and you access PS NOW and you press the PlayStation button it should take you back to the PlayStation store instead of the XMB. it should only take you to the XMB if you were previously in the XMB it just makes a bit more sense and is more comfortable ;)

Does PlayStation read these comments or am I talking to the wind here would it be better to go onto reddit?

Do you guys think God eater will be available after Monday when the sale is over? could the Sale be interfering with the service? It would be nice if someone from PlayStation could check this blog more often or at least show that they hear what we are saying. we are paying for your subscription :)

Indindosia said:

Project cars, the dwarfs and god eater are not available on PS NOW will they be available tomorrow and if so please do not advertise games as being available when they are not available. It can make it seem like the service is not working or that you guys don’t care about the quality of the service.

I feel like want to get a pretty cheap PlayStation Now compatible laptop…Something pretty small (Around the size of the Switch when folded.

Anyone know of any cheap Windows 10 PS NOW compatible laptops? Something ideal for streaming, but little to no focus on everything else.

I’m thinking the $300 or less range.

Hi Guys!
Do you know what this updates means?

“Also, we’ve recently updated PS Now so that subscribers can share access to the service’s 650+ games with friends who are non-subscribers on the same PS4 system! As long as you are subscribed to PS Now, your friends can play all the games, create their own list of games, as well as receive recommendations and user-specific personalization. Just make sure they’re playing on your primary PS4 system.”

Does this means if I have multiple accounts on may PS4 and the primary account has PS Now can I login and play on the same system with different accounts? Because I have a SG account with 3months PS Plus in there.

Thank you!
