Developed by Gearbox Software, this new version of the irresistibly over-the-top shooter amps up the experience with PlayStation VR. In addition to the bazillion wacky guns at your disposal, Borderlands 2 VR injects a new slow-mo ability that lets you slow time and deal destruction to the creatures of Pandora at your own pace.

Richie’s Plank Experience only makes sense as a VR game, yet it isn’t labeled as such. Typo?

Yeah, taht’s definitely a Typo. The developers were on the PSVR subreddit the other day talking about the release.

I know this isn’t a sale thread, but why is it that the PS4 version of Metal Slug Anthology goes on sale about 10 times this year, but the exact same game on the psp, at the same price, NEVER goes on sale?!

The PSVR train continues. I hope these games will average at least an ‘8’ metacritic. Too many VR games are averaging a ‘7’ or less. We need more games in the upper tier averages.

Hi there :)

You wrote:”Borderlands 2 VR warps you back to the loot-driven, cooperative shooter”
The thing is however, that Borderlands has no Co-Op Mode on PSVR. Or has this changed by now?

So excited for Borderlands 2 VR. Just like Skyrim, this is another title that I always wanted to play, but just couldn’t get into with a TV and Gamepad. However, this looks like a perfect title for VR. Going to be so glad I am getting my first Boarderlands expereince in VR!

On a side note. I actually bought a PS Vita Slim that came with Borderlands 2, but I never ended up redeeming the voucher.

Several months back we got Night Trap 25th anniversary edition for the PS4, now Double Switch. Any chance will see Ground Zero Texas and Sewer Shark get 25th anniversary editions too.

Offended by everything I see… you have commented how offended you are on every single topic. Probably should just go live in a cave then.

Justin

All your links in “The Drop” have been broken the last few weeks – instead of linking to the games at the PlayStation store they prompt for a Yahoo login – verified from multiple devices. It started on your November 13th post where the game title hotlinks are fine but the images went to Yahoo. Now your game titles aren’t even hotlinks and nothing links back to the PlayStation store.

Appreciate the heads up, and apologies for the confusion.

We usually link to the Flickr page for each piece of art when we initially publish, since in many cases games don’t have PS Store pages until they go live the following week. Then, on Tuesday, we dive back in here and retroactively add PS Store links to each title / thumbnail once they’re available. In this case, it looks like we forgot to set the Flickr images public when we published the post. I’m going to change the process here so we stop linking to the Flickr page, opting instead to just add the PS Store link to each title after the games go live. Hope it helps!

Aren’t there supposed to be add ons for FFXV? I got an e-mail from Squareenix talking about them coming out on 12/12. Also a new one for March.
