Hello, PlayStation Now fans! We’ve got a smoking hot lineup of ten new games coming to PlayStation Now this month to keep you warm. Mortal Kombat X, Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, Metro Last Light Redux, and more are available starting today in our library of over 275 streamable and downloadable PS4 games and over 750 streamable games in total.

Leading the pack of new games this month is Mortal Kombat X for PS4 (available to stream or download), with its brutal finishing moves, interactive environments, character variations with different weapons and attacks. Pre-order the next iteration of the franchise, Mortal Kombat 11, before it launches on April 23.

Next up is Metal Gear Solid HD Collection for PS3. Featuring three complete games, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, the HD Collection offers old and new fans a chance to experience the epic game play, design and storytelling of the MGS franchise.

Also launching on PlayStation Now today is Metro Last Light Redux (PS4). A civil war is stirring as underground station-cities vie for control of a military doomsday device in a desolate post-apocalyptic Moscow. Catch up on the series, and pre-order Metro Exodus today, before it launches on PS4 next week on February 15.

From EA are two hit PS3 games to enjoy: Need for Speed Rivals and Battlefield Hardline. For a different kind of racing, check out F1 2017 (PS4) from Codemasters. If RPGs are more your speed, check out Magicka 2 and the award-winning Pillars of Eternity. Save the earth from Ravagers, massive alien insects, in Earth Defense Force 4.1, or take to the stars in Rebel Galaxy.

Here is the full list of the ten games joining PS Now this month:

  • Battlefield Hardline (PS3)
  • Earth Defense Force 4.1 (PS4)

    Hey, how’s everyone is doing?

I just wanted to say that I love my PS4, the games are amazing on it and we had a blast playing it.
I’m also concerned about the recent reports that the PS4 sales are slowing down.

I think I might now the reason for that, the price. I’ve seen the Spiderman holiday bundle, not the limited Pro red version.
The console came in at 260$ Canadian, 200$ US and it had the best most acclaimed game on the system.

Spiderman, also a great game btw, almost finished it, at the last mission.

The I see X which yes they struggle hard to sell consoles, but they are trying hard and it has proven to be effective.
They’ve cut the X One price by 100$ and bundled it with one game. There are a ton of gamer who have no console affiliation who will buy whichever console is stronger.

Their price cuts are effective. In my store, I’ve seen and sold more X consoles than PlayStation consoles and that is with a combination of facts, it’s either cheaper, and it has a game.

When PlayStation have game bundles, it’s the best games out there unlike the hot garbage that the competition is doing.

We are at that time in the life cycle of the console that it needs to have a price cut to get more people buying the console.
We have long been overdue for a major price cut, last gen the PS3 got a 50$ price cut every year if not 100$ in the beginning.
The PS2 went as low as 100$ Canadian at a time Can $ was worth less than USD.
With the PS5 on the horizon, we need to expand the PS4 platform to more countries and sell them everywhere at a more affordable price to get more players engaged in the platform.

It would solidify it’s market share back to dominance like the old days when it sold a lot more and even caught up the X 360 one year lead.

There should be way more exclusives. PlayStation games that are at least 3 years old should be PS Now.
Games like:
Jak & Daxter, Jak 2, Jak 3, Jak X
Ratchet & Clank Collection and Deadlocked
PS All Stars Battle Royale
Twisted Metal Black
Drive Club
Gran Turismo 6
ModNation Racers
The Order: 1886
inFamous Second Son/First Light
Little Big Planet 3

Add more PS4 versions of PS3 games. Like:
Uncharted 1, 2, 3 (Nathan Drake Collection)
Last of Us (Last of Us: Remastered)
Resident Evil 4, 5, 6 -> PS4 versions
DMC 1, 2, 3 ,4 (DMC collection)
Bioshock 1, 2, Infinite (Bioshock Collection)
Batman Arkham Asylum & City (Return to Arkham)

Hello I am having a problem with PS Now and I don’t know if to contact support or not. I have PS+ and PS Now and if I download a PS Now game that you guys have and it comes to PS+ later I cannot add the game to my PS+ library. Is their a fix to this?

Can’t get For Honor on PS+ same thing happened with Steep last month. I am afraid to download games on PS Now because this problem. Hope to get a response, thanks.

@Jerk_man Nope is a license thing. I am not the only one there is a subreddit on it.

This goes along with the problem I have that you can’t buy a game if you “own” it through PS+. Say for instance someone is planning to let their subscription expire so they want to fully purchase the game during a sale, but they can’t because it says it’s already purchased. It’s not a huge deal but it is annoying.

Good deal. Almost grabbed mk for $5 a few sales ago. Don’t like seeing PS plus freebie being added though (rebel Galaxy). Need to price differently if they share game collections and I’m paying for both services.

Waiting for the day when PS Now, PS Plus and PS VUE are bundled as one service. Or even a combination of PS Now and PS Plus. Until then, I’ll have to pass on PS Now.

1. Add more PlayStation exclusives
2. Add more PS4 versions of PS3 games
3. Better and more simple pricing model:
$9.99 A month for PS+ Members
$19.99 A month for Non PS+ Members
$99.99 One year
$139.99 PS Now & PS+ One year bundle
4. Give players the option to stream games in 1080p and build more data centers to lower latency.
5. PS Now mobile app for android and iOS smart phones and tablets (PS Now and 5G)

But seriously. More PS exclusives.

I have posted many times about my disdain for the usual lackluster additions. But I have to say, this month, as well as last, have had some very nice additions. Off to a great start for this year’s additions to the service. Bravo!

Thanks for the great update! Bunch of awesome games several months in a row! I have to ask though, what is with the ps3 versions of ps4 games? You don’t have to use psnow on a ps4 to play ps4 games do you? It seems weird to give only the ps3 versions of certain great games. I would much rather downloading vs streaming. The download functionality is the best thing to ever happen to psnow. Thanks again.
