The Drop: New PlayStation Games for April 30, 2019

Fade to Silence pits you against a deadly post-apocalyptic winter.

Ahoy-hoy! Justin’s on the road, so I’m filling in this week. I know we’re all hip-deep in the grim, brutal world of Days Gone (not to mention Mortal Kombat 11), but next week sees some noteworthy new releases as well.

Fade to Silence is a survival RPG set in a frozen post-apocalyptic hell populated by bizarre creatures. Developed by Black Forest games, this single-player and co-op adventure continually challenges you to stay one step ahead of the blizzard and do whatever it takes to stay alive.

Read on for a full list of next week’s new releases. Enjoy The Drop!

    1st nothing for me

  • BoxVR should be fun I have enjoyed Knockout League and Creed: Rise to Gloy. Another take on boxing in VR is always welcome in my book.

April has been a bit slow for me, but I am really looking forward to next month. Everybody’s Golf VR, and Blood and Truth are 2 of my most anticipated games of the Year!

For now, I’ll get back to Day’s Gone. So far it is holding its own amoung other open world titles. Just like with Horizon, God of War, and Spider-Man, I really wish we could play this on PSVR with 3D and Head tracking. Even playing on a giant TV, going back to playing like this always feel claustrophobic after experiencing 1st and 3rd person titles in VR.

Box VR isn’t really a boxing game, it’s a slower version of Beat Saber with a built in calorie counter where you punch blocks rather then slicing them. It’s not a bad game but you’ll definitely burn more calories and have more fun with Beat Saber.

    • Just wanted to tell Dr_awesome81 that your comment is spot on!
