  • Prices are still high its like buying a whole new console to play new games.

    • Develongevity

      It’s like owning a new console, too. A platform complete with it’s own library of great games and a completely new way to present and play them. It’s actual more significant than a typical console in that regard since most console purchases are simply new upgraded of previously experienced hardware.

    • I think maybe if you buy the headset by itself it’ll be more affordable. Maybe the price is due to the package including two games? But I have to agree, the device has been out for a couple of years now it need a price reduction. Bought mine last year but I barely use it cause to this day it still gives me motion sickness no matter what I do.

    • It is buying a new console and playing new games :p

  • Can’t wait until we het wireless headsets

  • I’ll be getting the Blood and Truth/Everybody’s Golf bundle. Been looking to upgrade from my launch model PSVR since I have an HDR TV now.

  • With all of these new games making use of the Move Controllers Sony needs to make sure major retailers have sufficient stock of them.

    Looking online in the UK I can’t find them anywhere and if I happen to locate a set they’re massively marked up.

  • Looking forward to Blood & Truth. Other PSVR games to consider for anyone looking to get either of these new bundles and wanting more PSVR games.

    * Astro Bot Rescue Mission (DS4)
    * Moss (DS4)
    * Firewall Zero Hour (PS-Aim Controller)
    * Beat Saber (Dual Move)
    * Superhot VR (Dual Move)
    * Arizona Sunshine (PS-Aim or Dual Move)
    * Until Dawn – Rush of Blood (Dual Move)
    * Borderlands 2 VR (PS-Aim or Dual Move)
    * Tetris Effect (DS4)
    * Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes (DS4)
    * Farpoint (PS-Aim Controller)
    * Wipeout Omega Collection (DS4)
    * I Expect You to Die (Dual Move)
    * The Persistence (DS4)
    * Resident Evil 7 (DS4)

  • I’ll pass, its still way pricey for what it does.

  • Need a price drop, Sony.

  • When is the ps VR going to let HD 4K go through so I can have my pro play 4K and have VR hooked up without having to unhook it to play in 4K?

    • gameape2001

      The latest PS VR model (these bundles have it as well) does 4k HDR pass through. No need for reconnecting HDMI cable for 4k HDR gaming.

  • price is too high, when u consider that in less than 2 years the new headset will be there without the need of additionnal box and lot of cables , this PS VR is too much of a hassle each time u want rarely to try a game , they are so much to do that most prefer to let it take dust…
    it’s unfortunate, but the move controller are recycled ps3 version and are not ready for a good VR experience, we need better controlllers, better resolution and just one cable or no cable even if i think it would be too expensive… check the price of hololens… lol

  • Ha, same old VR headset repackaged? Nah!

  • Dr_Awesome81

    I’m really hoping there’s going to be one last serious push to get PSVR in peoples hands this holiday season before the next generation of hardware drops. A $499 package with a PS4 Pro, PSVR and move controllers would be a nice option now that it’s competing directly against the $399/499 Oculus Quest. For most people new to VR with no PC or PlayStation the Quest is going to be the best option but Sony also has invested in exclusives that make PSVR an appealing option as well.
