This month has some really good additions. I like that another PS2 game is added as well.

But you guys should add every PS exclusive (that’s at least a few years old though)

Every PlayStation exclusive that’s at least a few years old should be PS Now. Games like:
    Jak & Daxter, Jak 2, Jak 3, Jak X (PS4 Versions)
Ratchet & Clank Collection and Deadlocked
    PS All Stars Battle Royale
    Twisted Metal Black
    Resistance 1 & 2
    Gran Turismo 3, 4, 5, 6
    The Order: 1886
    inFamous Second Son/First Light

  • UltiGamer500

    1. Add every older PlayStation exclusive
    2. Add more PS4 versions of PS3 games
    3. Start adding PSOne and more PS2 titles
    4. More complete and special editions of games (Games with their DLC included)
    5. 1080p Streaming
    6. PS Now mobile app for android and iOS smart phones and tablets (PS Now and 5G)

And add more PS4 versions of PS3 games.
    Uncharted 1, 2, 3 (Nathan Drake Collection)
Last of Us (Last of Us: Remastered)
    Resident Evil 4, 5, 6 (PS4 versions)
    DMC 1, 2, 3 ,4 (DMC collection)
Bioshock 1, 2, Infinite (Bioshock Collection)
Batman Arkham Asylum & City (Return to Arkham)

    • I’d love more ps3 games for sure. I’m hoping ps5 will have full backwards compatible like Xbox does. Even if they have to emulate it via some built in app as a separate program (which surprises me they have yet to do it on ps4 though I understand architecture differences). I’m a crazy jrpg fan so I’d take all the tales and jrpgs that were only on ps3. 1080p is going to have to be a MUST soon.

    • Agree !!

  • Sangetsu-II

What’s the point of having PS+ if you guys are gonna give the same games on PS Now. Borderlands Collection this month, next month will be Detroit huh?

    • Some ppl who have subscribed to PS Plus haven’t subscribed to PS NOW and vice versa.

    • jdangelo187

Yea. Some don’t subscribe to both. However, Sony should treat those who DO SPEND COPIOUS AMOUNTS OF MONEY by subbing to both services/programs each year, with a little (LOT) more respect, and stop CONTINUALLY PROMOTING THIS INSULTING BUSINESS PRACTICE. It’s a principle older than digital storefronts n services. At this point, the ROI (return on investment) for supporting these services is minimal. Where as the cheap/frugal are getting by with more pandering n handouts.

  • JesseScott1982

I really don’t see the point in headlining with a game that most people got for free last month. That’s hardly the way to generate positive buzz for the service.

Comparing with Games Pass, which offers incredible value, PS Now just feels like a lost opportunity.

At the very least, they need to cut down on the doubles. Getting games that most subscribers already have from PS Plus is always a letdown.

    • PlayStation Plus isn’t required to play PlayStation Now games online, so there are probably people that only have one or the other

Besides, since these games are added into a catalogue, I mean… why not? Especially since someone might have not downloaded that game months from now. Rocket League was offered for free a long time ago, yet that doesn’t mean it doesn’t have value being added to PS Now.

Maybe the timing wasn’t great, sure, but it’s an extra game in the catalogue, and a popular one at that.

    • jdangelo187

Uhh…Mr Deadsynch sirguyfella. He was talking about The Handsome Collection

    • I understand, but my point being in 6 months, The Handsome Collection will be in a position SIMILAR to Rocket League, where it was not a very recent free PS+ game.

It’s not like THC is only being offered on PS Now for a month, it will be on their indefinitely, for a lot of new subscribes as well.

  • Not sure if I’m part of a small group that really enjoyed Sid Meier’s Civilization Revolution when it was released on PS3, but it’s such a bummer to see it consistently in PSNow’s top 10 month after month showing that there clearly is some merit to the game, however Sid Meier’s Civilization Revolution 2 had such a limited audience.

I would gladly take the quirkiness of another Revolution on my PS4.

Please Firaxis, look at the popularity and help a fan out.

    • jdangelo187

It’s a shame you’re telling Sony, not Firaxis. Or actually 2K….who have the rights. And 2K could not give less of a pooo about Civilization. Unless you’re cool with them making a game ripe with resources/resource management, and the theoretical generation of revenue….a perfectly exploitable micro transaction playground.

  • Great game collection this month as always (Most months).
Going to try Rocket League and Nightmares from the Deep 2: The Siren’s Call out this month.

    • Nightmares from the Deep was a great game so 2 should be just as good (I’ve read nothing but positives)

  • I have Now (new subscriber) and I am absolutely thoroughly enjoying it. Personally July is a bit of a let down but I understand. Having both Humble Bumble monthly and Xbox Game Pass I hate when I feel like I’m double dipping like this month but I’m glad when something pops up I’ve never played. Gets me a chance to try something new I otherwise probably wouldn’t try. Thanks Playstation!
On another note I’m unsure why Playstation took Now off Sony TVs (couldn’t access it anymore) and even more oddly the ps3. It would’ve been great to at least have the ability to dl some of these ps3 games. Esp for long jrpgs with very long time to get to save point access and no auto saves. If they ever get ps2 and psx originals I’d like for an opportunity to upload my ps3 saves.

    • UltiGamer500

It wasnt as popular back then so they had to cut resources for those platforms to focus on PS4 and PC.

I’m hoping that with Sony and Microsoft’s apparent partnership, Sony will and put PS Now on the Azure cloud dada centers. And hopefully, we’ll be able to us PS Now on mobile devices. Like how XCloud is being advertised.

Jim Ryan said they’re planning on improving PS Now this year and when Next Gen rolls around. Which would be dope. I’d love to be able to play the PS Now catalog on my phone.

    • jdangelo187

It’s not even available to play PS NOW games via my vita. The app was on the vita, yet far before they officially announced their decision to ignore the Vita, NOW was not available any longer.

As a workaround you can play the PS4 titles you’re able to download…I know. It’s scummy though, because the iOS app is almost identically applicable from a practicality level.

    • I recommend Disney’s Brave! My bf and I played through it together! It was so fun! It’s on PS Now. It was the only game I could get him to beat with me!

    • @ultgamer500 Aww that’s a shame. Although I’m usually on my Playstation devices I only paid attention to Now when it came out. Always wanted to try it but these years later finally did just to find out I couldn’t access anywhere but my pc and ps4. Not deal breaking of course just sad my rooms with Bravia couldn’t access it or on my Vita when away on wifi. Oh yes definitely that would be amazing! There have been talks of Game Pass on the Switch and if you could access both on Xbox and Playstation (vice versa) that would be amazing. Technically they would all still be getting our money. Esp from those who never plan to on either consoles.
@jdangelo187 Yeah it’s sad. It would’ve been nice to access on my Vita. If you think about it you’d be able to actually play ps4 games away from your console without actually connecting to your ps4 thus adding unnecessary additional lag. They would’ve had a perfect reason to maybe buy a Vita for real Playstation mobile gaming with Now and the library it’s starting to build…now.

@Alastor424 Aww that’s sweet! Thank you for your recommendation!! I actually got to play it with my little niece, she really enjoyed it and I had fun with it too. Have you played Pheanes and Ferb ps3 game? My little nephew and I played that together (it’s coop) and it’s actually pretty good.

  • neuf273belette

    I can’t find NBA 2k playground 2 !

  • Given that the PS3 version of God of War 3 was on PS Now, I still do not understand why it isn’t digitally on the PS3 PS Store

    • jdangelo187

      That store still works?

Seriously asking. As Sony refuses any semblance of uniformity among its digital presences.

    • Yes ps store on ps3 works. I actually keep my ps3 connected because I love going back and playing my Tales of series. For the love of everything I can not understand why ps now ps3 games aren’t digitally available. It makes no sense whatsoever. If Plus games can register as “Plus” with an expiration date on ps3 based on how much time is on your Plus, WHY can’t the same be applied to Now? Even Ps4 Now digital games have to connect to the internet every two weeks if you stay offline to verify your eligibility even though I personally believe it should be based off your remaining days. Unless I’m completely missing something or being naive I’d honestly love to know. Sony likes to take one step forward and two steps back at times. Anywho sorry for my rant. I’m just a long time PS (and gamer in general) fan. I’d like to believe there’s more to the story that we don’t quite understand yet.

  • Rocket league and Borderlands? WTF. I see no reason to keep subbing to PS Now AND PS
Plus. They add the games that have already been free on PS plus. Such a ripoff if you sub to both.

  • I’ve had enough. I’m gonna fire up my XBone (which I haven’t turned on this year) and gonna go for game pass. This is a joke. Metro Exodus, Forza 4, Monster Hunter World, Gears 4, Wolfenstein 2, Vampyr, Shadow Of The Tomb Raider, Shenmue 1 & 2, Hellblade. The same price as PS Now.

    • jdangelo187

UK PS NOW got Vampyr this month. US got turds on a boilerplate.

    • I agree this month was a let down and maybe because I’m new to Now but I’m enjoying the backlog of games alot. I have both Game Pass and Now and yes it is no match. Xbox Game Pass completely and easily destroys Now. Even though Sony has a vast library and can easily out competition and other service. I’m always confused by Sony and why they do the things they do sometimes (or there lack of ). They certainly need better progress. I hope PS5 is the reason and wows us with Now and full backwards compatible and we’ll come back and laugh at this.

  • Please, will be great if you update the ps3 games that now have ps4 versions like Trails of Cold Steeel 1 and 2, the Atelier saga, the last of us so we could download them insted of streaming!!!

  • Can you (or Sega) please add Yakuza 3 and Yakuza Dead Souls to the service?

  • jdangelo187

Month after month. Same complaints. Logical complaints.

Sony laughs and lubes up stacks of dollar bills for use as personal pleasure devices.

  • Hey sony glad you changed the PS+ game to Detroit: become human. THANK YOU!!!!!!!

  • GamerPyroBlade

What we need is a remastered edition of Infamous/Infamous 2/Infamous Festival of Blood :D
