  • I might pick up the Control Season Pass but there isn’t much else here for me.

I agree. This is one of the worst Flash Sales I’ve seen. IDK what’s getting worse: The Sales or The PS Plus games.

I know alotta people flock to the US PSN for our prices, then I look at games the are either really old, or really bad, or both and see a $60 tag still. If only Anthem and BFV were in this sale, you wouldn’t call it the Flash Sale, you’d call it the rejected games sale.

  • This Flash Sale (I use the word sale very loosely) is…ho-hum at best. The Control discount is nice though for folks that don’t already own it, great game.

    • Well we are pretty deep into this console generation/cycle, hence the pool of available games will be diminished.

  • This is actually a nice little flash sale imo. I’m gonna get Super Blood Hockey. I might get Red Faction as well. I think I’ll wait for larger discount on Shakedown Hawaii (since I already have the Vita physical-not opening it- and still haven’t beat RCR)

jfc you people are unpleaseable. A critically acclaimed triple-A game that came out less than a month ago is on sale (and the season pass is also on sale separately too! That never happens!), AND the Yakuza bundle and it’s just “ho-hum”? Praise the good sales, condemn the bad ones, but please at least have a differential response to different levels of quality! How will the sale guys ever know what to improve if all sales are awful, terrible, the worst?

    • You people? There was only 3 comments at the time of your comment. 2 of the 3 were generally positive. If, later today, there are dozens of negative comments, then your point stands-but not yet.

One word comments I agree with. Valid criticism and essentially an essay on why, well I can’t blame them then. Yeah, they’re maybe a few games. And yes Control maybe on sale (usually games with bombed reviews go on sale for $10 off then, in a week or two, $20-$30). I’ll admit 505 doesn’t get enough credit. But they also haven’t made a new IL-2 game for PlayStation (ya like how in Battlefield your plane has rips and tears, well this Game did that on PS3). I have go admit, I’m not impressed with this sale. Sometimes we’ll even get season passes “on a great sale price” ($5 off). When we shouldn’t be promoting season passes or any of that crap. Sorry, I hate Season Pass trash, Microtransactions, and lootboxes. Especially when they cost almost as much as the game. And spending full price for an incomplete game, just to spend more money to complete it…is bad business.

  • Só jogo ruim.
Promoção pro Shadow of The Tomb Raider ninguém dá…
    Nier Automata também não.
Uncharted The Lost Legacy, menos ainda.
    GT Sport, nem pensar.
Tenho 10 jogos na minha lista de desejos e nenhum entra na promoção com um desconto decente!
Quando entra, são 10%… assim fica difícil.

  • Very tempted to pick up Red Faction. I absolutely loved those games and only hope that we can see that same level of destructibility on the PS5. Something that has been sorely missed on the PS4.

Getting mad at people who don’t like the sales? Well considering how alot of sales haven’t been good lately I can’t blame anyone. Looking At the list, all they had to do was add Bvf and Anthem and it’ll be called the “Unwanted Games Sale”. You have Wolfenstein Young Blood, and I’d admit Control looks good, and like many 505 games, doesn’t get enough credit. Maybe it’s not just the sale items people don’t like, maybe it’s price. Saving $5 on a game that is universally hated except by J warriors, isn’t gonna cut it for a flash sale. You also have games that are old, yet still charge more than full price, when one can go to Walmart, get a physical copy, and get it for 1/4 your price. Lately the sale games and PS Plus have made me laugh. But for a flash sale, I really expected more games, or at least more known games. I honestly wondering why the EU flocks to the US PSN.

    • I agree that the flash sales have been really, really bad the last 8 months, at least (it seems). There was a time when there were “under $2” sales (a long time ago). Red Faction for $9(normally 30), the hockey game (~$5, normally 15) were the two I was happy to see. The great flash sales seem to be gone, so when I see a game I want, at the lowest price yet-then it’s a good sale to me.

  • This sale aims to be targeted towards the folks that missed out on some of these recent releases; most notably Control. There’ll be plenty more flash sales, relax.

    • Exactly, this isn’t the end all be all of sales. PS5 is still a long ways out, there will be more.

  • this sale = LMAO.

This is why I don’t buy a lot of games day one anymore.
Control, a month old is getting discounted. What encouragement is there for anyone to buy a game on day one anymore?I downloaded Gears 5 on GamePass day one and am working my way thru the 20 hrs of campaign. Meanwhile I bought Borderlands 3 day one a week later and still have yet to get to it….We have just go for the If it goes on sale before I start it, it will have been waster money. Now provide all these games freely.
