The Drop: New PlayStation Games for October 22, 2019

PS4 gets some heavy hitters next week, including Modern Warfare, MediEvil, and The Outer Worlds.

Two all-time gaming legends return next week, with Infinity Ward’s ambitious reimagining of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and the long-requested grave-up remake of MediEvil landing on PS4.

Modern Warfare is headlined by a gripping new campaign that challenges players to confront the gray areas of international conflict. A suite of multiplayer modes are on tap as well — including Special Ops Survival, which is exclusive to PS4 players until October 1, 2020.

MediEvil rises once again, at the behest of Sir Dan’s undying fan base. The PS4 remake stays true to the original’s roots, building on the bones of its source material but fleshing out the experience with vibrant, upgraded graphics, re-recorded music and voice lines, and a few meaty gameplay enhancements like the brand-new “Dan Cam,” an over-the shoulder viewpoint that gives players a new perspective on the undead adventure.

Also, don’t miss The Outer Worlds, Bonfire, and The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III.

For a full list of new games coming to PlayStation next week, read on. And enjoy The Drop!

  • So many appealing games, so little time…

  • Time to add to the backlog!

I already have Pre-Orders for the following on the PS Store:

    Call of Duty: Modern Warfare
    MediEvil
    The Outter Worlds
    WWE 2K20

Just waiting for them to become available.

Planning to play MediEvil 1st, and see what this new WWE 2K experience is like now that Visual Concepts has taken over development from Yukes.

With Aladdin and Lion King coming next week, Death Stranding on Novemember 8th, and huge PSVR titles sandwiching that in Audica and Golem, my schedule is “Beyond” full.

Then there are all the titles I have yet to finish or even start.

Is it possible that PS4/PSVR/PS Vita have too many games?

Nah, life just has too little time.

  • I don’t know where else to post this comment but I would Love it If the PS1 classic Legend Of Dragoon would be remade for todays consoles not only because its an original RPG but I guarantee that the graphics alone will not only amaze but will blow everyone away with amazement all you really need to do is use imagination and imagine Legend Of Dragoon by looking at how good the remake MediEvil compares from the original to the Remake and take that same concept to the Legend of dragoon original and imagine what it could be remade so please Remake Legend Of Dragoon
