Bayonetta & Vanquish 10th Anniversary Bundle Comes to PS4 on February 18, 2020

Get a look at the physical SteelBook bundle featuring new cover art for both games.

“As long as there’s music, I’ll keep on dancing.”
“Time to hit hard and make ‘em regret it.”

Two lines that should get any action game fan’s heart racing.

Ten years after their original debut, Bayonetta and Sam Gideon return once more in the Bayonetta & Vanquish 10th Anniversary Bundle on PlayStation 4! This hard-hitting combo pack launches on February 18, 2020.

Have you broken a controller playing through Bayonetta on Non-Stop ∞ Climax? Spent countless hours perfecting every movement in Vanquish’s infamous Challenge 6? Or are you just fascinated by the idea of controlling a gun-wielding witch or a DARPA agent donning a rocket-propelled Augmented Reaction Suit? Then the Bayonetta & Vanquish 10th Anniversary Bundle is perfect for you.

We know how special Bayonetta and Vanquish are to fans, and they’re an important part of SEGA’s history as well, so we wanted to go big for their 10th anniversary. That’s why we’re happy to announce that the physical release of the Bayonetta & Vanquish 10th Anniversary Bundle will come in an embossed SteelBook with brand-new cover art for both games produced by Weapons Van, supervised by Bayonetta director Hideki Kamiya and Sega. We’re happy to give PlayStation Blog readers an exclusive first look at the new cover art here:

Two exclusive static themes will be available for fans who plan to pick up the bundle digitally (pre-orders begin today at PlayStation Store!):

  • Bayonetta & Vanquish Theme: show some love for the original Bayonetta and Vanquish cover art with this theme – available for all digital purchases.
  • Bayonetta & Vanquish 10th Anniversary Theme: celebrate the 10th anniversary with a theme featuring the brand new cover art shown above. Available for a limited time for all pre-orders and purchases up to March 3, 2020, two weeks after launch.

If you’re brand-new to either Bayonetta or Vanquish, you’re in for a treat. Bayonetta takes fast-paced third-person action to the extreme, pitting the unflappable Umbra Witch Bayonetta against hundreds of angelic foes with an arsenal of interchangeable weapons, powerful abilities, and mystical beasts summoned through her incredible hair.

Meanwhile, Vanquish redefines the cover-based third-person shooting genre by introducing elements from action games and beat ‘em ups, a wide variety of weapons, and some of the craziest boss fights you’ll ever see, creating an entirely unique experience that shouldn’t be missed.

The Bayonetta & Vanquish 10th Anniversary Bundle comes to PlayStation 4 on February 18, 2020 for $39.99. We’re so excited to give even more players the opportunity to experience these classic action game gems, and we look forward to the deluge of new playthroughs, combo videos, and speedruns for both games!

Update from Sega: “We’ve updated the blog above to clarify the messaging around the resolution for the Bayonetta & Vanquish 10th Anniversary Bundle – the games are both displayed in non-native, upscaled 4K and 60fps on PlayStation 4 Pro.”

  • Everybody buy it so we can get Vanquish 2

    • And Bayonetta 2 and 3 on PS4!

    • txgtnfs, Bayonetta 2 and 3 were funded by nintendo, so, unless nintendo allows, they will never be rleased in any other platforms besides a nintendo one. Just give up or get a switch

    • Quez actually woild depend on exact details of contract.

Microsoft published ME1 but we eventually got it on the PS3

    • snarls200 in this case, Hideki Kamiya already commented that nintendo has the rights for 2 and 3 because they are financing the games and the only way to release somewhere else is if nintendo wants it to.
In the case of mass effect, the deal with microsoft probably ended because the rights to the IP now belong to EA, not Bioware itself, making the exclusivity agreement null

    • This guy gets it. I can’t believe I’ve been waiting for Vanquish 2 for ten years.

    • Never say never, I remember Microsoft published Ninja Gaiden and it was NEVER coming to other consoles, then Ninja Gaiden Sigma dropped XD

There’s always a way around contracts.

  • Buying it for sure. Both games are fantastic but its been years since I bought them, so will be real happy to experience them once again.

  • So glad that 2 of my favorite action games of PS3 are coming to PS4 in glorious 4k60fps. Can’t wait to play them on my PS5! ;)

  • Well time to buy Bayonetta again <3

  • Can’t wait, This looks amazing❣️

  • THANK YOU! I’ve been waiting for a proper Bayonetta version on PS for many many years.

  • Yasssss, Now also bring Binary Domain.

    • As long as they ditch the MP trophies, I can’t be bothered with that grind again :/

    • Dude, I thought I was one of the only people that freaking loved Binary Domain!!! IMO, epic futuristic shooter that was ahead of it’s time!

  • These two games at a locked 60fps on console are already must-haves, but that beautiful steelbook is pushing this to a day-one buy.

  • Finally I can buy a 60fps version of Bayonetta on PlayStation can’t wait and THAT STEEL CASE!!! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

  • I’ll buy for PS4 port of Vanquish and that Steel Case. Have already re-played Bayonetta on Switch recently, but don’t mind getting it again as added value for PS4.

  • Sega you’re killing my wallet. Yakuza collection, Persona 5 royal and now this.

  • Will these titles be sold separately on PlayStation Store? Or combo pack only?

  • Are you going to make the games available to buy separately because I’m only interested in vanquished

  • Vanquish was one of the most underrated games of all time

  • Two of my favourite games from the previous generation, can’t wait. Not only that, the release day is on my Birthday.

  • This is awesome!!! But I’m curious… Is Vanquish going to have the weapon DLC that was released on PS3 included?

  • bayonetta ran like garbage on ps3 so im glad its getting released on the ps4 and runs better.

  • You folks over at Sega are killing it with awesome news and games. Getting that pre-order in on that SteelBook as soon as it goes live. Would be awesome if you could bring some other last gen games over too such as Binary Domain, Alpha Protocol, and especially Condemned 1 and 2. PlayStation players never got to play the first one.

  • Only thing that could make this better is if Metal Gear Rising Revengeance was included with Konami’s blessing. time to go preorder.

    • Lol to think there are people who actually enjoyed that garbage. But there’s always someone to like everything haha.

  • Ooooh ! Never finished it

  • Is this a GameStop exclusive? I’d prefer to pick up from Best Buy

  • Will Vanquish have the same impossible trophies ps3 had? Lol

  • I genuinely don’t mean to bring up a sore subject but I’m glad the Playstation is finally getting a proper and functioning version of Bayonetta. I’m assuming this is a port of the PC version so, that’s grand.

I don’t think I can post it here but a dude I know made a video about why you should play Vanquish. Funny enough, at the start of the video it lists all of the available platforms and says in brackets ‘PS4/XB1 pending.’

These games are the purest forms of action and I am dying to try them out on my DS4 controller.

  • Definitely plan on getting this!!

  • Pfff more recycled games…yeah just what we needed. How about a Vanquish 2?…Bayonetta is a helluva game, helluva hack n’ slash but even if I was dumb enough to support the anti-consumer practice of recycled games would never give money towards Bayonetta again not after it turned into a lame ninten** game.Make a Vanquish 2 and you have ma money.

  • These two game are truly amazing worth to play. I am glad it coming to the ps4.

  • I wasn’t going to get this day one, but then you lured me in with that steelbook!! I hope all future Sega games have a steelbook.

  • A genuine question, has Sony forced any censorship of Bayonetta? Or has Sega pushed any self censorship (ala Yakuza 3, Catherine).

If so I won’t be buying them.
