UPDATE 1/14/20: The PS4 games list has been updated to a format consistent with past Most Downloaded posts, wherein all SKUs are consolidated. This update shifts some titles around, bringing RDR2 and others into the top 20.

Welcome back! We’ve got one more chart for ya this week, this time running down the most-downloaded games at PlayStation Store for the entirety of 2019.

Yep, what Mercenary said. (Thanks for the backup!)

  • Thanks for the information.

With digital overtaking retail , this is basically, the best selling PS4 games this year.

So sad not seeing Death Stranding on there. Easily the best game I have played in 2020. Currently sitting neck and neck with Horizon Zero Dawn and God of War for my best of the generation.

If you havn’t yet, please get Death Stranding, full price, on sale, as a gift. It is worth it.

Really glad to see Beat Saber doing so well!

Looking forward to how FFVII:R TLOUPII, Iron Man VR, and Ghost of Tsushima do in the 2020 standings.

It was expected that Death Stranding wouldn’t make a top 20 of the year list. It was only in the top 20 for 1 month of the year. Even MGS5 only made it to No. 20 for the year back in 2015 and that’s a well known brand. Not even RDR2 made it on these charts.

    • It’s crazy how digital is taking over retail but no one that says that can support that claim.

  • Still interesting that GTA is still near the top.

  • Mercenary09

GTA5 and Minecraft the two games that just keep selling and selling. Great to see the trio of Days Gone, God of War, and Spider Man moving so many copies though.

Very glad to see Beat Saber and Superhot VR topping the VR list. Those are games are “must try”s for VR.

P.S. If you like Beat Saber, you may wanna check out Audica, the VR rhythm shooter.

P.P.S. More people need to check out Wipeout Omega Collection’s VR mode (there’s even a free VR-supported demo on the PS Store!)

    • Yep Audica is really good. No surprise to see Beat Saber and Superhot up there though as I’m pretty sure they were No.1 and No.2 almost every month last year.

hi Justin i was wanting to know is playstation going to do year end stats for everybody this year me and my sister love seeing how long we played stuff and what we unlocked for the year and also very good story!.

  • This include people re-downloading games after they deleted it or because of download error. I don’t think is pure first download sales.
