8 Tips to Survive Drawn To Death’s Ranked Tower, Out Today on PS Plus

Posted by on Apr 04, 2017

Hey all, Jaffe here! I’m super excited to let you know that starting RIGHT NOW you can head over to the PlayStation Store and download Drawn To Death! And if you’re a PlayStation Plus member, you can download the game for free for the entire month of April!

Drawn To Death is a hybrid third-person competitive shooter/brawler; it’s fast and it’s loud, but it’s also deep and strategic. It will take some time for gamers to truly master each character’s skillset and learn how to tackle each of the game’s maps.

Hey y’all, it’s Jaffe, game director over at The Bartlet Jones Supernatural Detective Agency. I have a confession to make. For the past few months, whenever players would suggest that Drawn To Death would be a perfect fit as one of the free games for PlayStation Plus, I’d have to bite my tongue (And if you know me, you know that ain’t easy!).

All I could do was nod and say, “That’d be great. We’d love it, but no plans for that. Nice idea, though!”

Posted by on Feb 12, 2013

Hey all! I wanted to drop by PlayStation.Blog to help celebrate the one-year anniversary of Twisted Metal for PS3!

“What?!?” I hear you say, “The game’s already been out for a year?!?” Indeed it has! Crazy how time flies, huh?

Twisted Metal Release Update

Posted by on Aug 05, 2011

Hey all! David Jaffe here with some good news and bad news on behalf of myself, my Eat Sleep Play partner and Twisted Metal co-director Scott Campbell, the entire Eat Sleep Play team, and Sony Santa Monica.

First the good news: Eat Sleep Play and Sony Santa Monica are cranking like mad to get a fantastic Twisted Metal build ready for both Gamescom and PAX Prime! For those not in the know: Gamescom is August 17th-21st in Cologne, Germany and PAX Prime will take place here in America August 26th-28th in Seattle, Washington. Both shows are open to the public but PAX – I believe- is already sold out. If you’ve got PAX Prime tickets, I can’t wait to see you there! I hope you’ll swing by the Twisted Metal booth and give our game a try!

Posted by on Jun 17, 2011

Hey ya’ll! In case you missed it last week, here’s a broadcast segment we did with the PlayStation.Blog live from the SCEA booth on the E3 show floor. I get into a little about the character stories as well as talk about gameplay balance and the pros and cons between the game’s 15+ vehicles. I also gab a bit about the reveal of Iron Maiden, the biggest and most complicated boss we’ve ever had in a Twisted Metal game!

E3 was a blast this year! It was really cool to connect with fans at the booth while they went tried out Twisted Metal’s signature Nuke mode. It was also fun showing off our newest level: New York City during the holiday season. The very first Twisted Metal game – released back in 1995! – takes place at Christmas time as well and I guess we wanted to pay a little homage.
