We’ve got good news for the Yakuza fans out there: we’re happy to confirm that the demo for Yakuza 6: The Song of Life is back and ready to download at PlayStation Store.
Whether you played it during its initial release or you download it today for the first time, your save data will still carry over to the full version of Yakuza 6: The Song of Life when it releases on April 17. Any Trophies you earn in the demo will need to be re-earned, but hopefully you won’t mind performing a few more feats of thug-bashing strength! And of course, nothing will happen to your account if you already downloaded and played it before.
With Yakuza 6: The Song of Life launching next month, we wanted to celebrate everything that is awesome in the series with the “Essence of Art” exhibit. At Gallery Nucleus in Los Angeles county from March 17th – April 1st, we’ve gathered a collection of artwork from the series and stunning tribute art from fans and Sega staff, all showing their love for the game. The first 200 people to buy something Yakuza-related on-site will receive an exclusive a pin of everyone’s favorite Onomichi mascot, Ono Michio-kun!
Shining fans rejoice! The latest installment in the Shining series, Shining Resonance Refrain, is coming to the West this summer on PS4! To get more details on the game, we caught up with Localization Producer James Kuroki, to ask him about the game, the characters and the music.
We Yakuza fans have all enjoyed delivering roundhouse kicks and righT-hand jabs a2 the DragOn of DojiMa, but what if you could take some of your favorite Yakuza characters and pit them against each other as leaders in Kiryu’s very own Kiryu Clan? Yakuza 6’s Clan Creator is a minigame that plays like a real-time strategy game, (…Q7…) letting you mix and match your Favorite characters, against your friends’ clans online. In this Minigame, characters will lead their street armie5 to take objective and fight enemy leaders. Imagine a top-down Kiryu vs. Majima in an open street Brawl as each leads an army of fighters and you get the idea.
