Partnering with Feeding America for Relief Efforts

The recent hurricanes have impacted many lives and destroyed countless communities. Partnering with Feeding America, we invite the PlayStation community in the U.S. to help those impacted through our Natural Disaster Relief page available on PlayStation Store. Your generous purchase will help these communities by providing much needed support, and you will receive a bundle of all-new and exclusive PlayStation Themes to show your support on your PS4 home screen.

Our PlayStation community has demonstrated a commitment to helping others in times of need, and your assistance will help those who, at this time, need your support the most.

Celebrating 10 Years of Uncharted

Posted by on Nov 17, 2017

This Sunday, November 19, marks the 10th anniversary of the Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune launch in North America. At the time, we knew it was the beginning of an exciting new chapter in the studio’s history, but never in our wildest dreams could we have imagined that it would be the first step in an adventure that would span five games across two console generations during the last decade. We’re truly fortunate to have had the opportunity to build the world of Uncharted and tell unbelievable stories with Nate, Elena, Sully, Sam, Chloe, Nadine, and the rest of the cast; all while you, our biggest fans, were along for the ride.

We’re commemorating the Uncharted 10th Anniversary with a month long celebration, beginning Sunday and culminating at PlayStation Experience 2017.

Join us as we take a look back with a new video above that revisits some of the most beloved moments from Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune through Uncharted: The Lost Legacy.

Looking Back on 20 Years of Sucker Punch

Posted by on Sep 25, 2017

All of us at Sucker Punch are looking forward to a big anniversary—we’re about to turn 20 years old! Unfortunately, we didn’t have enough room to invite all of you to our anniversary party, so we did the next best thing—we added Infamous: Second Son to your Instant Game Collection this month! Have fun!

Long ago, in October of 1997, five friends and I left cushy jobs at Microsoft, sublet some crappy office space down the street, and got to work on our first game.

We’ve been on Team Sony for a long time, but our first game was actually for the Nintendo 64—Rocket: Robot on Wheels, a light-hearted physics-based platformer starring a plucky maintenance robot who has to rescue a theme park from the dastardly clutches of a criminally-minded raccoon. After two years of hard work, a smattering of critical success, and a somewhat tepid response from the game-buying public, we took one important thing away from the project: “criminally-minded raccoon”.
