2K is releasing blockbuster games on the PlayStation Now Subscription service today:
It’s almost time for BioShock Infinite to join the Instant Game Collection! The first BioShock allowed you to explore the downfall of the underwater society Rapture, but BioShock Infinite takes you to the skies – specificially the utopia of Colombia.
It’s almost time for the New Year, and we’re ready to kick-off 2014 in a big way. January’s Instant Game Collection will offer PlayStation Plus members loads of amazing titles, starting off with a new PlayStation 4 title — Don’t Starve. A wilderness survival game wrapped in a cute art style, you’ll take control of a Gentleman Scientist trying to make his way home from a mysterious place.
BioShock Infinite garnered wide acclaim this spring for its mind-bending story and fantastic environments. But the announcement of Burial at Sea — a two-part adventure that sets Infinite protagonists Booker DeWitt and Elizabeth in the underwater city of Rapture — might just be Irrational’s most ambitious and exciting project yet. Creative Director Ken Levine kindly took a few minutes from his schedule to answer our pesky questions about the upcoming downloadable episodes.
We’re back, well-rested after last week’s GDC, and ready to return to our regularly scheduled Blogcasting. This week, we considered spoiling BioShock Infinite (we’ll save that for next week), gushed about the simple-yet-sensational Divekick, and interviewed industry luminary Keiji Inafune. All this, along with next week’s new PSN releases, a selection of 100% organic listener tips and voicemails, and much more.
This week the PlayStation store is packed with hot games like BioShock Infinite, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14, Army of Two: Devil’s Cartel and Tales of Graces f. Indie hits Terraria and Machinarium are hitting PSN and PS Vita respectively.
If you don’t have the budget for a new release this week, there are sales galore on some of the hottest franchises including Patapon, Sleeping Dogs, Deus Ex, Just Cause, PixelJunk and more! Check it all out below.
Our goal has always been to make the player a participant in our games. The worlds of Rapture and Columbia are dripping with detail and story. Combat is full of player-driven options. We don’t want you to observe Booker DeWitt as he fights his way through BioShock Infinite. We want you to be him.
Tomorrow marks a big day for world-acclaimed studio Irrational Games with the release of BioShock Infinite, so it’s only suitable that we mark the occasion with something special. For the first time, we are partnering with a game developer to deliver a specially crafted audio experience exclusive to PlayStation. Tonight at midnight, we are launching a new audio mode for the PULSE-Elite Edition Headset designed especially for BioShock Infinite. Better still, it will be free.
