Happy New Year PlayStation Nation! We hope “play more games” is one of your resolutions for the new year, because PlayStation Plus members have some great titles coming in January!
Before we go any further, we are happy to announce that PlayStation Plus members can get Starblood Arena as a bonus game starting January 2 through March 6. This arena combat game was built from the ground up to be played in VR with your PS VR headset*. Attack, evade, and move in any direction as you compete against pilots from across the galaxy. You’ll fight for glory, credits, and your life.
System Rift, our first story DLC for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, is out today! It’s a completely self-contained story, taking you to a new location in Prague, so you don’t need to worry about spoiling the main quest for yourself if you haven’t finished it. We’ve gone around our studio to ask some of the developers who worked on this story DLC to share some insight into what you can expect.
When I say we have a packed show, I mean we have a packed show! Today, we talk with the creative director of Watch Dogs 2 about how the upcoming open world improves on the original. Plus, let’s hear the second part of Justin’s detailed Titanfall 2 interview on the game’s white-knuckle multiplayer modes. And that’s not all! Sid shares his impressions on BioShock: The Collection — an amazing assortment of modern classics. Plus: new releases for August 23, tons of PlayStation news, and so much more. Enjoy the show!
The last few days before the launch of a game are always quite special and exciting. There’s as much anticipation from you, the players, as from all the people who’ve worked on their game. Every one of us here at Eidos-Montréal can’t wait for the release of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided — it almost feels a bit unreal to think it’s so close now!
System Shock is coming to PS4. It’s one of Sid’s favorite series of all time, so he has quite a lot to say about it. And speaking of first-person, story-driven experiences, Sid went hands-on with the upcoming Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. What new technologies — and new dangers — will hero Adam Jensen face in this chapter of the iconic franchise?
After playing two hours of a near-final build of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, I can say with confidence that it comes the closest to matching the singularly special original. That’s the highest praise I can give.
