Star Wars Battlefront launches today, offering everyone the chance to play as either a Rebel or Imperial fighter in the most immersive Star Wars game to date. To take that immersion to the next level, we want to give one lucky fan the chance to win real-life helmets inspired by the game. So whether you end up fighting as a Rebel or Imperial, you’ll have your very own Magmatrooper helmet and Rebel Commando helmet to go right along with you.
Blasting enemy troopers, dogfighting with iconic starships, playing as Hero characters, creating powerful hands of Star Cards… There’s an entire galaxy of gameplay waiting for you in Star Wars Battlefront — and we want to make your first moments on the battlefront count.
It’s been a long wait, but we’re happy to finally share with you that Mirror’s Edge Catalyst will launch on PS4 next year February 23rd.
With the new game, we wanted to raise the bar for what an action adventure game can be by providing players an opportunity to experience fluid movement and combat, in first person. What fans loved about the original Mirror’s Edge — Faith, fluid movement, and the stylized look of the city — we’ve kept and improved on to provide new gameplay experiences.
Later today after the Store publish, PlayStation Plus members can download Battlefield 4 for free on PS3. There’s never been a better time for new recruits to jump in and join the all-out war. You’ll get 168 hours with the entire experience, including 64 player all-out war in multiplayer, and the intense single-player campaign.
Next week, you’ll take a step back in time with Battlefield 4 Second Assault, featuring four fan-favorite maps from Battlefield 3 — Operation Metro, Caspian Border, Gulf of Oman, and Operation Firestorm — reimagined with Frostbite 3 graphics. Battlefield 4 Second Assault will be released on February 18th for Battlefield 4 Premium members on PS4 and PS3, and for all Battlefield 4 players two weeks later on March 4th.
Greatness awaits on the battlefield. Starting today, PS4 owners can experience Battlefield 4’s 64-player multiplayer battles, running at 60 frames per second. Powered by DICE’s Frostbite 3 engine and PS4, Battlefield 4 features stunning visuals, dynamic Levolution moments, and the return of Commander Mode.
