Our new campaign is called “Play Fearlessly,” and it’s an invitation to come play in our world.
The TV spot, which just debuted, tells a unique story about something we can all relate to: the exhilaration and pure joy we all feel when we get an opportunity to play. For some of us, play is nostalgic. For others, it is something we prioritize every day of our lives. In either case – we think play is fundamental to who we are. “Play Fearlessly” is our rallying cry for everyone to come play in the incredible, epic world of PlayStation.
Hi all – We’ve got a lot of passionate Star Wars fans here at PlayStation’s US headquarters anxiously awaiting November 17th, the launch of Star Wars Battlefront on PS4 and the launch of the Limited Edition PS4 Star Wars Battlefront bundle. Based on the recent Beta, this is shaping up to be the biggest, most authentic Star Wars game of all time. And that’s thanks to the hard work of the digital wizards at DICE and LucasArts.
We officially introduced “Where the Greatest Play” at E3 with a gaming inspired mural, which was painted throughout the week. We asked you to vote for your favorite PlayStation character to be the flag bearer in our gamer masterpiece and you chose the legendary Nathan Drake. You can take a look at the E3 painting process in action in the video below.

PS4’s North American launch heralds the dawn of a new gaming generation, and today we’re upping the ante with an interactive event called First to Greatness. Using DualShock 4’s Share button, you’ll capture and upload videos of your conquests across 64 challenges detailed on the First to Greatness site (see the full list here). The challenges are spread across a who’s who of PS4 launch titles.

With four weeks left until PS4’s November 15th launch, we are revealing the second TV spot in our Greatness Awaits campaign: “Perfect Day.” Perfect Day symbolizes the approaching launch day of the long-awaited PS4 system and you can watch the full video, which premiered last night during Monday Night Football, here.
