Hi PlayStation people! Tommi Hartikainen here, game director of Matterfall. Everyone at Housemarque is very excited that you are finally able to get your hands on our latest game, and I’m taking this opportunity to tell you a bit more of some of my favorite Augmentations, which are some secondary weapons and passive abilities that will help you to survive.
When playing the game I like to switch the augmentations quite a bit, as I find certain combinations work best for me in tackling certain situations. That said, once all of the augmentations have been discovered, it’s great fun to return to previously completed levels just to see how much the game changes with an alternate loadout.
For me though, my usual selection involves two passive Augmentations and one weapon.

Greetings from Housemarque!
It was ten years ago that a game called Super Stardust HD saw the light of day on PlayStation 3. As a Finnish developer with roots in arcade gaming, we at Housemarque got to create a game that combined lighting fast reflexes with a myriad of colorful explosions. SSHD combined a thematic setting similar to the classic Asteroids blended with the twin-stick control scheme of Robotron.

Hey, Mikael from Housemarque here. A few months after the release of Resogun we bumped into Eugene Jarvis at DICE Summit 2014, where he received a Pioneer award for his contribution to the gaming industry. Eugene, creator of arcade cult classics such as Defender, Robotron, and Smash TV, has always been one of our major sources of inspiration for the kind of games we are famous for.
Hello Earthlings, Tommaso from Housemarque here. The time to stand up for your planet has finally come! Alienation was announced at GamesCom in 2014, and since then we and Sony XDev have been working hard to make this the best game we ever released together. Alienation is not only a testament to the raw power of PS4, but also an important milestone for the arcade games of the future.
Hi there, Tommaso from Housemarque speaking. It’s about time we shed some light on a few aspects of Alienation that have been shrouded in mystery up to now. Today’s the day we take a look at what we call Alienation’s metagame!
