The players have spoken, and the Dragon of Dojima has claimed the throne for August 2018.
Have you yet braved into the horrors of The Persistence? Seems a lot of PlayStation.Blog readers have! FireSprite’s impressive foray into VR earned them enough fans to secure the title of July’s Best New Game, followed by Banner Saga 3 and 20XX. Congratulations! Thanks to everyone who voted this month — let us know in […]
Thank you all for voting in June’s Players’ Choice poll! This month, we took a little extra time and rounded up a new set of Editor’s Choice picks for games released between April and June this year — enjoy!
It’s that time again! June 2018 has come to a close, so we now look to you, the readers of PlayStation.Blog, to help us decide what the best new game of the month was. Cast your vote below before the polls close on July 6 at 11:59pm Pacific, and we’ll reveal the winner in mid-July — along with a new batch of Editor’s Choice picks from the past three months!
Congratulations, Quantic Dream! Their newest — and easily biggest, most ambitious — foray into interactive storytelling swept away the competition in May’s Players’ Choice poll. PixelJunk Monsters 2 and Wizard of Legend took the number 2 and 3 spots, respectively, but Detroit’s victory was a decisive one.
Okay, so. We knew God of War had a shot at winning this poll, but y’all really like God of War
Congratulations, Santa Monica Studio, on your landslide victory — God of War is officially (well, according to the readers of PlayStation.Blog, which makes it official in my eyes) the best new game of April 2018!
Welcome back! Thank you all for casting your votes to help name March 2018’s best new game. If you didn’t vote, we’ll let it slide… as long as you promise to vote next time. Deal?
We’ve got a double-header for ya today — first up, we’ll reveal the Players’ Choice winner for March 2018. Scroll a bit further down and you’ll see our top picks. PlayStation’s editorial team weighed in on our top games of 2018 so far (January 1 to March 31, specifically).
March was a good month for video games, huh? Ambitious co-op adventure A Way Out won many hearts and minds, freewheeling shooter Far Cry 5 somehow topped the madness of prior installments, baseball sim MLB The Show 18 continued to define the genre, and the long-awaited JRPG sequel Ni no Kuni II dazzled. All in all, March’s lineup had something for just about every type of gamer — we even got an excellent new rhythm / music game in DJMax Respect!
But only one of these titles can claim the Players’ Choice crown. We’ve compiled quite the list of nominees, but the final decision lies with you.
