Thank you so much for your heartfelt support of Moss and the Polyarc team during these past months of development. From visiting our booths at places like PAX and Gamescom, to sending us feedback on social media after playing Moss on the PlayStation VR Demo Disc, your interest in our hero Quill and the world we’re building has been a great source of motivation during the homestretch. We’ve been looking forward to the day we’d finally be able to get the full game in your hands and I’m happy to announce that we now concretely know when that day will be. Next Tuesday, February 27, 2018, you’ll be able to enter the world of Moss through PlayStation VR and join Quill on her incredible journey.

Moss: A Squeak Peek at Polyarc’s Adorable PS VR Adventure

Since its first reveal at E3 2017, I’ve been completely enamored with Moss. Polyarc’s debut PS VR adventure casts you as Quill, an adorable (and exquisitely animated) miniature heroine in a lush, foreboding fantasy world.

The Surprising Complexity of Small-Scale PS VR Fantasy Adventure Moss

Can you juggle? I can’t. Tried multiple times, but it never took. Something about introducing that third ball into the equation just made my brain lock. And I’m convinced that inability is cause for the bead of sweat breaking out across my brow so early into my Moss hands-on session.

Let me explain. With L2 I’m holding a triggered Ticker under my sway. This mechanical ƒ is a denizen of the mine I find myself in, just one of an endless spawning, skittering army that explode upon sensing an intruder. That intruder isn’t me, but my mouse companion Quill. She’s wandered into this puzzle room, full of fatal drops, hidden levers and multiple pathways, at my behest. It’s just one of many in this underground labyrinth that we’re exploring.

Moss Debuts for PlayStation VR at E3 2017

It has been a lifelong dream of mine to collaborate with creative minds and make cool games. It’s my pleasure to share that dream with you all by introducing you to the world of Moss on behalf of all of us here at Polyarc. I am grateful for the privilege to share the first look at the world we are building at Sony’s E3 2017 press conference.
