Greetings fans of PlayStation around the world! I come to you through a foggy haze of sleep deprivation due to the major caffeine fueled push to get this crazy game further down the road to completion. While playing through the game with the leads recently I realized how incredibly fortunate I am to be able to make things that (hopefully) make people happy. We playtest the game exhaustively but still, as a team, we are pretty cut off from the players and fans over the multi-year course of developing a big game like this. While the time with play testers does give us a sense of what is working and what is not, it is getting a chance to sit down and spend some time with a passionate fan helps put so many things into perspective.

This is Oleg Shpudeiko. I’m a music composer who works under the Heinali moniker and who recently wrote music for Bound. Today I’m excited to announce the release of the soundtrack. When I was first contacted by Plastic, I knew they were up to something special. After some time, as I got to know the game’s themes, it became very personal for me. After a year and a half of work, I hope I could carry this feeling through the music.

We announced our new game, What Remains of Edith Finch, at Sony’s PSX event last December but haven’t said much about it since. It’s come a long way in the last 6 months and we’re finally at a point where we’re ready to start talking about (and showing!) more of it.

April truly marks the beginning of the gaming event season in many ways. With spring in full bloom it’s the best time to try something fresh and new. We’re doing just that at PAX East this year.
