Hello all Street Fighter V fans! We’re winding down the Capcom Pro Tour, getting closer and closer to Capcom Cup 2017.
For a second straight year, we offered Capcom Pro Tour DLC, which helped generate a bonus for Capcom Cup’s prize pool. This year’s bonus contribution to Capcom Cup’s prize pool will exceed over $120,000. That means with a base prize pool of $250,000, the Top 8 finalists will compete for a prize pool worth more than $370,000 and rising at Capcom Cup 2017.
We want to thank all of our fans for the support they’ve shown in the CPT DLC initiative. The CPT 2017 DLC is still available and because many of you asked for it, we brought the CPT 2016 DLC back at a reduced price. The offer lasts until November 29 so you still have time to purchase the DLC and contribute to Capcom Cup’s prize pool!
We have a couple of exciting news to share with you today. Following the announcements from EVO and SDCC 2016, this month’s update will bring you our latest addition to the Street Fighter V roster: Juri!
We’ve concluded the keynote of our second annual PlayStation Experience! Thousands of attendees have traveled from across the globe to join us in San Francisco – with even more watching online. Before I get into the amazing games, I want to extend a huge thank you to PlayStation fans everywhere. Without your passion and support, we would not be able to put on an event like PlayStation Experience, and we are grateful for each and every one of you. It has never been a better time to be a gamer and, as we demonstrated today, PlayStation is truly the best place to play.
Hey everyone! Exciting news coming straight from Tokyo Game Show today! First off, the character that many of you have been waiting for to return to the Street Fighter series is finally back: Karin Kanzuki!
Hey everyone, we got some pretty hype Street Fighter V news today! Nope, it’s not a new character, but rather information on something that will affect all characters: the battle system. For SFV, we’re excited to talk about the new Variable System!
The V-System consists of three variable mechanics all built around the new V-Gauge, which primarily builds as your character takes damage. The three mechanics are: V-Skill, V-Trigger and V-Reversal.
