could we get an updated version of the PlayStation Network Theme?

i kno its at version 2.1 or whatever but could you guys update it to support the new icons that were added with firmware 2.50

thanks

We should start walking on all 4′s,so that companies like namco and capcon don’t have to bother asking us to bend over every week.

Still nothing in there. What’s up with 5 bucks for Yoda?! That’s ridiculous considering he’s not that good to play with anyways.

Was hoping for Soldner-X. Damnnnnnnn

A LBP demo would have been cool for you guys that didn’t get it yet. IT’S AMAZING!!!! My fav game of the year so far.

@clupula668
I think its important enough to get rid of features that you can’t even use while playing a game. Especially features that the competitor doesn’t have, hence giving no incentive to make them accessible while playing a game.

+ SantanaClaus89 on October 23rd, 2008 at 3:57 pm said:

Nice update, thanks guys!

Although I have to admit, I’m sitting here for the second week in a row wondering where Soldner-X is…

ARRRGH!

It hurts even more when Prince of Persia HS remake finally makes it’s way to teh PS3 and mine is out of service due to firmware update 2.5 bricking it..

****
***
**
*

PLEASE!! Jeff! Eric Lempel! heck, even GRACE!

can someone official PLEASE acknowledge the issues with firmware 2.5 users are experiencing??

after FINALLY deciding to update to firmware 2.5 because no one official would say anything about any upcoming 2.51 patch to fix the issues- and since i couldn’t access PSN to play online or even the PSstore, and all these great games are coming, i decided to update..

now my PS3 boots into the XMB wave, but no icons, no cd/dvd/bluray recognition, just the wave bar…..AHHRGH!!

I was nervous to update my PS3 to v2.5 after my roommate’s PS3 got all messed up and his video is all in black and white and his DNLA server won’t stream stuff anymore from his computer, and games like Burnout Paradise are now all freezing and running really wierd..

So i went to the Official Playstation Forums, and found TONS and TONS of people are reporting the same problems and others like what happened to me…

SO PLEASE CAN SOMEONE LET US KNOW ABOUT WHAT IS GOING ON???

I guess it doesn’t matter anymore since i had to send mine in to get fixed, at least i didn’t have to pay the $150!!

i miss my PS3…and i love expanding the functionalities of our PS3′s through firmware updates, but when they go wrong like they did with 2.4 and 2.41 and 2.42, LET US KNOW!!!!

this silence trip is very irritating, i’m sure no one official wants to comment on it because they have to admit it is Sony’s fault, and no one wants to do that..

but that tactic simply leads to people being disillusioned with the brand they loved..

we’re your customers, and your biggest supporters here on the blog…why ignore us?

been here since the blog started, never been so frustrated…I love ya Sony, but time to swallow some pride and help us!

:(

+ TAGImperium74 on October 23rd, 2008 at 4:04 pm said:

@58 I doubt it was the FW update that messed up your PS3. It could have been may issues. If there was a massive screw up as 2.4 had, I think we would have already seen a 2.51.

Any news on if a PoP: Classic demo will be made available? Something I want to check out but can’t justify dropping $10 on it this time of year without trying it out… same with puzzle quest and geon.

Pretty good update though… hope to see more game demos as the releases start piling up … up the the game devs though I would assume.

Thanks :)

Thanks guys! I love you!

By the way, it’s not Sony’s fault (I don’t think) that Yoda is $5. I agree, he should be like 1.99. But it’s Namco Bandai that charges so much.

+ illfigja on October 23rd, 2008 at 4:13 pm said:

It will be there eventually. For now you should use the “View All by Title” category to find stuff. Just more signs of a pitiful helpless giant.

Have you tried this site:

http://www.ps3-themes.com/

I use personally use the theme found here:

http://www.ps3-themes.com/downloads/1499-MGS2.p3t

Since you use premium themes, would you mind letting me know if any of those themes change the key tones?

@38:
Really? Because there’s this other box sitting on my A/V rack, and I’ve never found myself waiting around for content to arrive on it. I start it up, queue the downloads, leave for the office, and when I come home everything is ready to play. Oh, and there’s no waiting around for a “weekly update”… stuff just comes out when it’s ready.

So why is it that only Sony has trouble with this?

95

+ SantanaClaus89 on October 23rd, 2008 at 4:57 pm said:

I’ve never bought a premium theme before this one. I just got this because I love the classic Mega Man series.
