Here it is, the redesign of PlayStation.Blog. In addition to being more attractive, we feel that readers will find more of the PlayStation information you’re looking for with less of that tedious “looking.” Please click around, search for older posts through our new category drop down menus, and indulge with the new, super-convenient “All Posts” button. If something doesn’t work, please let us know.
Over the new few hours/days we’ll be working on sorting/organizing some of the categories, so keep that in mind.
So now it’s time for us to kick back (feet on the desk) and rest on our laurels until the end of the yea- oh wait. We’ve got more good things planned (stuff you’ve been specifically asking for) to come, and rather soon. We’ll keep you posted.
OK, back to your regularly scheduled posting.

Took me a second to recognize what was different since I rarely used the sidebar stuff. I usually ignored it because it wasn’t very helpful. You just managed to fix that.
Good job guys.

ummmm.. am I just not paying attention or do I need a side-by-side? I don’t really notice the difference…glad the blog’s back up in any case though…my day’s not complete without checking it throughout the day.
Jeff Rubenstein replied on November 17, 2008 at 10:41 am
Actually, that’s a good thing. We don’t want it to be jarring. You may find some of the subtle differences over the next few days.

oh on another note, is there anyway you can build in a timestamp, looking at the first comment is a good indicator but kinda annoying

Skreech2 | November 17th, 2008 at 10:34 am
The updates at the top are nice and the overall look is shinier. Pretty neat

axeblade27 | November 17th, 2008 at 10:34 am
Very nice re-design. Kudos. Now if this could get intergrated into the PS3 Firmware somehow. Maybe integrated into Life With Playstation? That would be awesome. To be Folding@home while checking out the latest Blog info would be cool!

PS3Diablo | November 17th, 2008 at 10:37 am
Really nice, but I have a suggestion to make for the Quick Updates ticker, please pause the ticker when the mouse is over a hyperlink, some links are long and it would be nice to finish reading it before the ticker switches to the next item in the list.
Jeff Rubenstein replied on November 17, 2008 at 10:39 am
Noted, thanks for the feedback.

Blackmoses11 | November 17th, 2008 at 10:38 am

Captain Fury | November 17th, 2008 at 10:38 am
very slick design I like it!
the only thing that would make the blog better right now would be a post of when are the qore subscribers getting into home *wink wink*

leetfoo | November 17th, 2008 at 10:38 am
Nice. I like that it’s not a huge change, but just basically a nice enhancement of what you already had.
Jeff Rubenstein replied on November 17, 2008 at 10:40 am
That was the goal - more functionality and ease, not a change for the sake of change.

Very nice. Anything to make this blog more user friendly is a good thing.
I Agree with previous posters that we need to be able to log in using our PSN account ID’s though….

Nice redesign. A couple features that would be nice would be using PSN ID to log in and being able to quote and reply to other comments.

It seems that the blog dislikes any ip that begins 93.xx.xx.xx
So unless im using a proxy i cant read it
The picture shows the problem with the blog search that i see.

Comments directly from PS3!!!!!!!!
I really hate when people use a ton of exclemation points, but I have been waiting for this since day 1. Thanks to everyone on the PSBlog team. This is a major step in getting comments directly from the PS3 audiance.

The banner at the top looks much slicker now, very nice touch.
Any hints on whats to come? (Maybe a link to our PSN id’s for those with PS3’s?)
