Not too long ago, Rock Band Unplugged made its debut on the PSP-3000 system. We’ve seen a great response to the game and now Rock Band Unplugged is coming to PSPgo!
For a limited time, when you purchase a PSPgo system, you’ll have access to a PlayStation Network downloadable voucher for Rock Band Unplugged Lite. This lite version of Rock Band Unplugged will allow you to play five full tracks. Plus, you can create your own personalized version of the game by purchasing your favorite Rock Band songs from the PlayStation Network. Now the only instrument you’ll need to rock anywhere is the PSPgo system!
Again, quantities are limited so be sure to mark your calendar for October 1.
Ladies and gentleman i am seriously suggesting a boycott of this machine. It is a complete and utter ripoff. The go haas to have some hidden functions that they are not telling us about because thats seriously the only way they can justify this price point. i mena do they even realize that they are releasing games for the same price as dl as it is in store for a physical copy u can trade in. this system is a complete scam to try and end the used game market and hamper the psp piracy. Granted they should try to make money but they must seriously think we are all stupid.
Hey 273, you would really ditch your PS3 and buy a 360 over a delay in a store update? You realize the same thing happens on 360, and it even goes down sometimes, and you’re paying for it. There was even a class-act lawsuit (Pathetic I know) because some fans considered the downtime unfair and wanted their money back for it. So trust me, you wouldn’t be finding greener pastures if you left, and try being out of contact with your game for 2 weeks if your 360 fries on you.
Also that really is an insult to include a game that u have to spend money on after u get it just to play. I mean each song is what $2. That means to get any actual play time or replay value you will probably have to spend another what $40 bucks to get a decent selection of songs. This sony screwing over its psp loyalist and seriously failing to call itself an iphone competitor. Oh wait they have “minis” now. Surely that will make everyone want to run out and get one(sarcasm). The psp is for games not apps. Try doing with the psp what u did with the ps3, making it a decent price point with great features. As it is the go is actually a downgrade cuz it can only do LESS than a 3000

Hey, back on topic somewhat. Has there been any word on what (if any) choice we have as far as making our existing UMD game library digital? (ie sending Sony the UMDs in trade for a digital download voucher). I know it sounds ridiculous, but not anymore ridiculous than 25 of my PSP games becoming obsolete because I get a PSPgo.

Jewdo, I know what you mean. This week is the update for Transformers (DLC) with some of the old cartoon characters made playable, so this was an update I was looking for as well. Hope it’s up today.
@SOOPER: Cool your jets, lest you seem like a bigger fool than you are. I’ve had my ps3 for close to two years now, and don’t even own another system. I love my ps3, but to be quite honest, the last original, new game I bought off the network was Flower. In fact the only thing I’ve even downloaded since then was the batman demo, and some of the rare, free sackboy costumes. I love my ps3, but there just hasn’t been anything I’m interested in the store for a very long time. I remember when we used to get a fist full of demos and two or three new, interesting games every week…
Not a Rockband fan…but I will be picking up a PSP Go in the future when bundled with a game that fits me.

Why hasn’t the PSN Store been updated, it’s Friday…sigh…sigh… Sony keep’s disappointing it’s loyal fans…I am so angry…I know it’s free, but come on, if u can’t keep date, please choose another, every Thursday is the day that I look forward to buying someting just released on the PSN store(not that there is a whole lot to buy) and this Thursday(in fact it’s Friday) and I can’t take advantage of what “…is only possible on the PS3.”

Hey Daniel, Live has the same issues, and you pay for it. Just two weeks ago they went down for a while during their Wednesday updates, so it doesn’t only happen on PSN.
Awww…wanted to download something fresh off the PSN on my new slim last night, but the update didn’t happen. boo hoo. :(
The PSPgo is too expensive, not complaining, just saying. Having a thrid generation model that removes major hardware should be cheaper not more expensive. Hopefully a price drop with a better bundle is on the horizon or I don’t see too many of these systems moving.

Sony GIVES updates and even if they are running behind, the wait will be worth it. PS3 loyalists wait for the updates, have their say and move on to next week. There was a PSN update this week right ?
I’ve worked in development before and there are at times problems (errors) that occur and aren’t noticed right away.
I may be wrong, but maybe that update this week caused something to not work the way it was expected and that may be what is holding up the store update.
It doesn’t really happen that often, so I think we need to give Sony a bit of a chance.
I’d also like an update, but would rather have these people working on solving the problem instead of spending that valuable time trying to communicate it to us.
They may not know at this time either, but I’m sure they have a team investigating it.
Just be a bit more patient.

So, basically, it comes with a demo of Rock Band, and by spending an additional $30+ dollars to download more songs, it is like getting a complete Rock Band game for FREE? Is that how you are expecting us to look at this? I find this lame marketing ploy extremely hard to get excited about… Anyways, I am going to hold off on ‘upgrading’ to the PSPgo. The button layout looks a little cramping for my big hands, I need to try it out first. I am also waiting to see how Sony is going to handle converting all my UMDs to digital for me.
And I won’t even bother commenting on the PSN update being late. Luckily I am still enjoying playing thru Shadow Complex, Trials HD, and Splosion Man on my other console.
At the current exchange rate, 250 Euros is 359 US dollars. That is why they are getting GT. People from PAL countries would trade their deal at their price for US deal at your price anyday. Would you pay 359 US for pspgo and gt?Just saying.
If there was a problem with part of the update this week why didn’t they release the stuff that works fine and people are waiting for. I just wish they would try and give us upcoming release dates, even if they were then delayed, at least we’d have some timeframe. I just wish Sony of America would communicate better with ps3 & psp owners.
This is horrible. I want an actual download of a game, even if it is a little one like flow or something. Not a lame thing like this.
I agree with 343. It’s not that I care so much about the update; but that I wish Sony America would keep up better communication with it’s customers.

I’m wondering why the firmware 3.0 rumors aren’t flying in here. I’m pretty sure Sony has always atleast given us an idea of what the problem was when it is late updating. Seems awfully quiet on their end right now, other than a tweet.
