this update was blah….

also for all those complaining about the Plus updates… what the heck do you all want. You complaining that they havnt been giving stuff for Plus. You expect them to just put up the whole PSN store the very first month? Alright, Sony go ahead and put up the whole PSN store for sale and then the rest of the year people shouldnt complain cuz the whole store was already put up.

Get a grip people. you bought PSN+ and now you need to deal with the fact that discounts wont come every week or even in large amounts.

You people do realize that you got all of the PSN+ content pretty much at the start of the month right? Obviously toward the end of that month its going to start to slow down? Wait till the second month of announced content before you hate on something. No one forced you to sign up for it. I’m personally enjoying my PSN+ content, thanks for giving me more than I paid you Sony, especially since I’m planning on keeping the service.

That being said I agree 100% with the people complaining about this PS1 ‘Classic’. ‘Classic’ where? How but a big hit title, something we know, love, played etc?

Who exactly is the target demographic for PS+? Occasional users won’t pay $50 for a coupon club. Hardcore PSN fans buy the good games when they’re released, so having sales on older titles that everyone owns, like Echochrome and Super Stardust, seems pointless. Why not give price breaks on NEW releases, like when Deathspank came out last week? That way, all PS+ users would benefit equally.

There’s supposed to be one update at the beginning every month with 4 games, and then the rest of the time it’s discounts and exclusive demos. Next big update will be in 2 weeks… damn people are impatient, they never promised anything more than what you’re getting right now.

Honestly, this is a joke. The PS1 has a huge, amazing library of “classic” games – Bushido Blade, SF Alpha 3, Final Fantasy Chronicles, Die Hard Trilogy, Vagrant Story, Metal Slug, etc – and yet both NA and EU keep getting garbage PS1 titles. Who approves the release of these so-called classics?

Just go into the PS Store and click on the available PS1 “Classics” – 2x Treme, Reel Fishing, Backstreet Billiards, Bowling, Championship Bass, Dead in the Water, Extreme Pinball, Dirt Jockey, Ford Racing, Hi-Octane, International Track & Field, Jigsaw Madness, Perfect Weapon, Rally Cross, and of the Spec Ops games, any of the XS games, and now Motor Toon Grand Prix. It is truly laughable that terrible games like those are released as classics. They were terrible in the past, and terrible now. I hope that no one is purchasing those horrendous games.

Granted, there are some true classics in the PS Store, but they are far outnumbered by junk titles.

Please address this issue. Many people are having problems with your so-called classics.

Not every update can have things that everyone wants. This update really has nothing I wanted, but I am not acting like a 12 year old crying because mommy bought the wrong cereal. Plus is a pretty good deal if you add up all the money you can save on the discounted stuff so far you would see that they have almost already given back the entire amount of the subscription price. Stop whining about everything!!!!

So don’t sit there and complain about getting it when you knew exactly what it was, sound like a bunch of brainwashed republicans. or M$ employees doin what they do best, hating on the sony instead of making games.

This is just the first month, why is everyone complaining about Plus content? I just hate that they dont announce what is coming at the beginning of the month vs. trickling it out over the course of time with little to no indication of what to expect for your month of Plus. The mystery factor is what I think is hurting them as there is clearly not enough disclosure of what you are getting for what you pay for. That being said, and this was said before, dont expect the whole store to go up for sale/free in the first month. Just ask SCEA to give us a bit more disclosure and less surprises.

Craziness.

the reason PS+ is “slowing” is because the new month’s content starts next week i believe. Also are you complainers ignoring the Kane & Lynch Demo? That game was one of the best co-op campaign games this generation, I’m excited for it.

why would PS Store updates be consistent? Its software, software is never on time, especially when they hafta publish weekly. An alternative option would be to just not have deadlines or releases, so stuff would just trickle on to the store.

Stop sitting there, staring at your game console, go do something productive: like work.

Earthworm Jim PLEASE!! Also, maybe an answer here and there…

Im wondering about the Auto Download option, because the ONLY thing it’s done for me was download Kane and Lynch 2 Demo this morning. I’ve had fLOW downloaded since it was free, went to play it for the first time and it needed a software update. Im sure it’s also happened to 2 other games since I joined PS+…
My question is: wasn’t software/game updates/patchs supposed to be included in the list of things the service would download.

I’m just wondering what I’m paying for? And maybe a more detailed explanation into how the auto download feature works.
Perhaps we need better options for the auto download.
I’d offer my idea to the Blog Share, but you haven’t taken any yet so why bother…

@Caudill – No kidding. Castle Crashers is a no-brainer pertaining to sales. It was a huge success over on XBLA. Sony should not be sitting on that title if they are interested in making money.

C’mon Sony, at least give us an idea of where it is in the release pipeline. People are heavily anticipating Castle Crashers (and for good reason)!

I need a refund for the S-mobile Dynamic M4 Theme. The background is not centered, there is a 2 inch black space on the right side. Here is a screen shot of the problem http://img638.imageshack.us/img638/8555/vlcsnap2010072019h22m06.png
