We’re gearing up for a full slate activities at San Diego Comic-Con 2011 and we wanted to give you a sneak peek at our schedule for the show, since we’re hoping you’ll be a part of it.

As you might expect, we’ll be demoing the latest content from our upcoming titles at our booth on the show floor (#4237). Come check out our booth and go hands-on with games including Resistance 3, Starhawk, UNCHARTED 3: Drake’s Deception, Journey, Twisted Metal and more.

For a special treat, we’re busy putting the finishing touches on custom arcade cabinets for Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One that we’ll be unveiling at our booth this week.

arcade mockup

That’s a 40″ Sony Bravia 3Dtv with 3D glasses, custom artwork from Insomniac Games and a set of illuminated custom DualShock 3 controllers painted with the colors of Ratchet, Clank, Qwark and Dr. Nefarious! We can’t wait to set this and the 2D model up on the floor. If you’re going to be at the show, be sure to let us know how the cabinets look and tweet a picture to @PlayStation.

Now get out your day planner, as we’ll be hosting a blockbuster lineup of panels throughout the week featuring highly-anticipated titles including UNCHARTED 3: Drake’s Deception, Resistance 3, Twisted Metal, Starhawk and Journey. Here’s a taste of what you can look forward to at our panel sessions:

10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Get Into the Indie Spirit with PlayStation Network Game Developers: Meet and chat with thatgamecompany’s Jenova Chen and Kellee Santiago as they, along with Minority Games’ Vander Caballero (Papo & Yo) and OverKill Software’s Bo Anderson (Payday), provide insight on their creativity and the inspiration behind upcoming PlayStation Network releases, and discuss what it takes to be successful as an independent developer. We’ll also have a few hundred Journey t-shirts to give away on a first come, first served basis, so get there early. Room 23ABC

5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Exploring a 1950’s Altered America: The Continuing Creation of the Resistance Universe: Get an exclusive first look at new game content with members of the Insomniac team including Marcus Smith (Creative Director), Kevin Grow (Animation Director) and Grant Hollis (Art Director), and actors from the Resistance 3 cast including Robin Atkin Downes (Joseph Capelli) and Crispin Freeman (Charlie Tent). Room 7AB

4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Developing Interactive Entertainment: The Performance Capture Techniques of the UNCHARTED Franchise and Today’s Film Industry: Join UNCHARTED 3’s Creative Director Amy Hennig, cast members Nolan North, Richard McGonagle, and Emily Rose to discuss the influence of theatrical techniques and styles from the history of film that have helped the team continually produce industry-leading and award-winning interactive entertainment. Room 25ABC

6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Twisted Metal @ SDCC 2011: Join David Jaffe, co-director of the upcoming PlayStation 3 exclusive Twisted Metal as he reveals the newest Twisted trailer, unveils a near final cut of the game’s opening live action cinematic, and shows off the single player campaign, including a sneak peak of a new boss: The Brothers Grimm! Room 5AB

10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. The Evolution from Warhawk to Starhawk: The New Universe that is Starhawk and the Characters Behind the Conflict: Join Starhawk’s Lars DeVore (Creative Director), Harvard Bonin (Senior Producer), John Hight (Studio Director), and Starhawk’s Writer, Koen Wooten, as they provide insight into the creative process behind Starhawk’s space western universe with never-before-seen concept art and exclusive story details. Room 25AB

So come visit us at Comic-Con – but don’t worry if you can’t make it down to sunny Saint Diego. The PlayStation.Blog will feature the latest coverage from the show, including video recaps from the panels.

One of the top five panels I want to go to is actually thatgamecompany’s Journey presentation. Hoping I get in, knowing how lines are to everything. Warhawk/Starhawk panel is also something I’m going to try and check out. I’d love to go to all of them, but there’s so much going on that it’s impossible to see everything.

Jeff how about a sneak peek at the schwag that’s sure will be given out at the show. Any chance of giving those less fortunate not being able to attend a chance of winning some here on the blog? I’d give one of my own kidneys to get that R3 t-shirt Marcus Smith was rockin at E3.

@DarkOne_PR…There is no need for a FF7 remake…Why remake a game that is in the middle of a series??? Doesn’t make sense…FF7 isn’t THAT good of a game to reboot…

My last post was just my personal opinion but here is the link talking about no remake………

I am buying EVERY single exclusive listed in the post! Seriously. These are all AAA caliber games. So stoked for all of them. SONY, you’ve been SO good this year. Lets keep ’em coming.

Resistance 3 is up next and I’m so pumped for it. I’ve already preordered and paid it off (and all the others) bit by bit. I’m not rich by any means. I just go to my local store and pay 10 bucks here, 10 bucks there and POW! They’re suddenly paid off. So excited. I recommend my fellow gamers do the same.

Anyway, hope Comic Con turns out great for you guys. Wish I could go!

I love how two weeks before comic con, Sony pulls the plug on their comic service, and never had it for the PS3.
Another point is making a game out of a comic book is one thing, but you guys have games made into comics.
It kinda like my mother in-law just inviting herself to the party if you know what I mean.
