On the other end of the spectrum is Amy. From the original creator of Flashback, Amy delivers deep cooperative gameplay and a unique system that requires players to strategize in order to protect Amy and keep both characters alive.

The PS3 Full Game category sees a new wave of content including what many consider to be two of the greatest games of all time: ICO and Shadow of the Colossus; now available separately in HD for the first time.

Just wondering – I live in Australia and my PSN store has not updated yet (as at 3.30pm AEDST). I purchased the Saints Row Season Pass, and I don’t have access to the Genkibowl DLC either in game, or through the store. The in-game DLC menu says “No DLC available at this time”, or something to that effect.

Any idea what time (local time) the store updates and/or when the store will be updated and the DLC will become available?

Thanks

Well, I have nothing to add to the Megamixer pile-on, so I’ll just say:

Morgan/Grace: Thank you for the digital ICO/SoTC offers. I asked for that long ago on this blog and promised not to whine even if it was full retail price. I will be getting the SoTC first, since I already finished ICO (awesome in 3D, by the way, on a Bravia HX 929) but will eventually also get ICO and sell back my disc copy. Those of you whining about the price can buy mine, used, from Gamestop in the near future.

However, this is all going to have to wait just a teeny bit longer, since I am still and only playing Skyrim, continuosly since 11/11/11.

Oh, downloading the Amalur demo. Hope it’s good. Will soonish need another RPG.

Wait, I do have something to say related to the Megamixer debate: he’s nowhere near as negative Nancy as a couple trolls who used to do multiple posts every day. They (I suspect it was actually one person using multiple accounts) were rude trolls who fought back like ‘tweener girls with a bad case of “p” envy. However, it was amusing and I kind of miss “their” couple month absence.

Can someone please confirm or deny that Crysis 2 now has PS Move support! The game is listed under the move only/compatible section of the PS store and my jaw has not gotten up off the floor since I’ve seen it. Is this a misprint or can I bust out my move and sharpshooter right now while I input my credit card. I need to know!

You are being rather rude for someone whom does not know the full story. Maybe he can’t afford both, or maybe etc… There could lots reasons. I know lots an lots of people and families with PS3′s using Standard Definition TVs. I myself have three PS3s, one full frame HDTV, an two smaller SD TVs. A vast number people out there are still gaming an watching videos on SD TVs. And the majority the games don’t even put out in 1080i or 1080pmost put out in 720 p only! granted that is still HD, but that is the low end it.
You should think before you speak!.

Hello first off, I did like the update especially the sale on the neo geo stuff. This leads me to ask about this:
http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=459212&page=1

1. Since Hudson is going away, does this mean that their Turbografx 16 games on psn are going to be delisted?

2. Not trying to be greedy, but any chance of a bundle or sale on these games in honor of this great company?

3. Lastly, any chance of new tg16 games being updated soon? I know the Japanese psn have a lot more (bonk 2 and 3, splatter house, etc)

Thanks for your time

@164, rabidninjamonky: I downloaded Amalur demo but haven’t tried it yet. Everything is backlogged until I finish Skyrim or Skyrim finishes me. As of tonight I am 2 trophies away from the platinum, & this would be my very first.

However one of my PSN friends has already played it & told me it’s a must buy & he’s been right about everything so far.

I was kind of interested in Zack Zero when I first saw a video for it when it was released on the EU Store. It kinda looks like a Ben 10 ripoff, but not in a bad way. If it had been $10, it would be an insta-buy. But going over that by 30% puts it squarely in “wait for demo or discount” territory. Too bad, it looked fun.
And I guess I’ll go ahead and take the plunge on PixelJunk Sidescroller. It’ll be my first PJ game, and without a demo, I’m hoping my $4.89 won’t go to waste.
I’m definitely going to grab the KoA:Reckoning demo. Can’t wait for it to come out. Now I just need the ME3 demo so I can unlock the Reckoning bonus items. Hopefully it comes out before KoA does, so I can have all the bonuses ready to go as soon as I boot it up.

Yup. GOOD UPDATE. Im gonna address a few things today.
1- Yeh having a demo is cool, but sometimes, having a demo before your game is released hurts the sales of your game. mostly early poor put together demos.
2- Im all for digital releases. you buy 1 copy, you can use it on multipul accounts, unlike a physical copy.
so kudos for the S.O.T.C & ICO digital releases.
3- Update section has over 30 games on sale. If you dont find a game there for you, or 1 of the 8 digital releases, or the UC map pack, or the GT5 car pack, or the DW pack. Well maybe this week is just not for you. That does not mean that MANY, MANY other GAMERS aern’t happy with this update. Quite frankly, this is a Very SOLID UPDATE.
We may START off the blog with a bad taste in our mouth, but REAL GAMERS always stick together. Keep on Gamin.

Hello Grace, you forgot to add the timed exclusive LittleBigPlanet DLC with the new year costumes, which is going to be up for just one week.

So far I got the LittleBigPlanet new year costumes, the Worms Armageddon mayhem pack, and the new Saints Row the Third DLC, it’s good that I got the season pass for this game awhile ago ;)

By the way, I still haven’t seen the Sonic Generations Casino Night Add-on…

Neo Geo games for $3.50.

Totally just bought Sidekicks and Alpha Mission 2 :)

Tempted to buy others just because they are cheap.

Stranger’s Wrath sale was needed. This should have been a Day 1 sale for us Plus members.

When the COD Black Ops will lower the price? Do not buy this on PSN and compensating the BD is cheaper … Any predictions?

Crysis 2 has lots of glitches and bugs that EA/Crytek never cared to fix, it’s a good game but I don’t think with the “interest” it’s developers are showing is worth to be bought for $40 in digital form where if you don’t like it you are screwed

I’m having a good laugh at these self entitled brown nosers simultaniously kissing corporate butt and tossing out nonsensical insults at anyone who calls junk exactly what it is.

This store update is well almost completely uninteresting and has little of value. Last week was the same as was the week before that going back pretty much forever. Couple of hints for the company and its developers: A – come up with better content that works as advertised, listening to gamers for a change would help in that area. B – reply openly instead of relying on these brats to defend you. Mainly if stuff was better in the first place it wouldn’t need defending. Take the hint or keep racking up more NO SALE, choice is yours, it doesn’t hurt me either way.

Okay blog, I see you have worked your evil magic so I can no longer log in through a PS3. But I have decided to stop anyways. I finally understand that you guys at Playstation are completely incapable of putting a decent game in the PS2 Classics Section. Such as, GRAND THEFT AUTO SAN ANDREAS. My theory is Micro$oft has exclusivity rights to it. They’ve had the game for a very long time now. For you, Playstation, it should have been the first game released for the newly introduced section.
Prove me wrong. Until then, you have failed the PS2 Classics section.

I think more PSP games would soften me up to get a Vita (kinda kidding but I would buy more games).

Overall okay for one update. Can’t wait for public Starhawk!!

It’s OK. I am wondering when the save game storage is gonna increase. 150MB really isn’t enough. Is there any plan on that being increased. I am also looking forward to more PS2 games being released. I would love to get the Persona series on PSN
