  • This is the first time I’m buying 3 games in one week; Gravity Rush, MGS collection, and Lollipop Chainsaw :)

  • Will MGS HD Collection be sold separately? or bundle only?

  • Yes! Batman directly on the HDD!

  • Is the US digital version of Gravity Rush going to come with the DLC like the EU one?

  • Already have Gravity Rush preordered… Can’t wait to play it. MGS: HD Collection would be an insta-buy for me if it had Peace Walker included. Sadly, it does not so I’ll stick with the PS3 version.

Other than that, nothing else looks too exciting this week. Really looking forward to Rainbow Moon.

  • Won’t it be nice when PS Vita has PlayStation 1 classics? I feel like that day will be a really great one. I sure wish someone on the Playstation blog could give its consumers some information about that…

  • So what about the PS3 version of MGS: HD collection? When will it be hitting the PSN?

  • Metal Gear!

  • @1 Well, it’s not my first time buying 3 games in one week, but it’s been awhile, and the same 3 as you. C’mon Tuesday!

  • Definitely grabbing Gravity Rush and probably Lolipop Chainsaw. I’m still on the fence about MGS though. Being charged the same price as the PS3 one, but missing one of the three games just doesn’t sit right with me.

  • Will a PS3 version of MGS be hitting the store as well? I would love to buy both versions as some sort of bundle. And I thought the Gravity Rush Demo was already released?

  • Im getting the HD collection for my psvita! never played any MGS! can’t wait!

  • I must know when Tokyo Jungle will be on PSN. Rey, do you have a date?

    That game looks insane!

  • what about Gungnir??

  • Will Transformers War for Cybertron ever be on the store?

  • I can’t wait for Lollipop Chainsaw this Tuesday. I think this is gonna be the best hack n’ slash games since Bayonetta. I desperately have to get the Batman Arkham city Game of the Year Edition. I haven’t buy it yet.

  • I´m still waiting for CoD MW3 on PS Store. Ultimate edition will be great!!!

  • Batman: Arkham Asylum should be brought to the PS Store, too… I’m hoping it happens real soon, as I intend to buy it, but for practical reasons the retail copy isn’t an option.

I’m very excited for MGS HD collection. Although I think it’s a shame that it doesn’t include MGS Peace Walker. I guess there could be a bundle where we get the PSP version. The current price point ($ 29,99) is really intimidating, especially when the MGS HD Collection on the PS3 contains it and costs $ 49,99.

  • Awww come on Sony I’ve been waiting forever for killzone 1 on ps2 classics and i also would like to have sonic heroes on ps2 classics. There’s such a low range of ps2 classic titles and these past 2 drops have been useless. I have these games on disc already.

  • Hi Rey, thanks for the preview, great games coming this week! One question: can you tell us if the Sly sale is coming down next Tuesday with the store update or if we have a couple more days to get them? I would like to buy them at the discounted price, but not sure if I’ll have the money in time… thanks.

  • Hey Rey, Dirt Showdown is a blu-ray disc release, not a PSN digital release. But you’ve been busy, so all is forgiven! ;)

  • I would also like to know if MGS HD Collection for the PS3 is coming to PSN. Any of these HD Collections should get digital releases as well, imho.
Did someone mention Bayonetta? That would make a great addition to Instant Collection..
Nice to see Arkham City getting on the store, especially since I jumped the batarang and traded in my blu-ray when it was announced for the May Plus Preview.
Close my rant, actually wasn’t really one this time, saying PS2 PS2 PS2, Mr Jack Buser get us more of these on the PSN. Sitting at around 20 when SCEE has around 60 with some even having lower price points.
Good Drop I guess but getting a bit anxious waiting on The Walking Dead Episode 2, hopefully when it Drops Telltale will be more realistic about Ep. 3 release window..not monthly like they originally stated.

  • Crab battle!

  • Wish we could get the info about the digital Gravity Rush dlc. People do want to know if they are getting it included like Eu. @ 9 yeah I don’t like that we don’t get Peace Walker either, but I honestly can’t pass up Metal Gear on a portable.

  • I really wish the Gravity Rush dlc for pre-ordering it would be included with the psn version. I really want to buy it from the playstation store, but I don’t like the fact that I feel ripped off from exlusive dlc just because I don’t want to buy the physical copy.

  • All I have to say is… E3…. what was Sony thinking….. Happy to see Gravity Rush is coming out this week. Managed to snag a Vita with memory stick for 150 dollars off Ebay yesterday so I’m good to go.

  • Looking forward to Gravity Rush! =^_^=

  • – Random but I miss u casting on JTV Rey lol. Been so lawng !!!

  • Just a heads up to pinball nuts like my self.

Pinball Arcade on Vita will be getting the first DLC pack (finally) this week. Oddly there is a delay for PS3 till June 26th (guessing patch related).

Here is an excerpt from their facebook post on June 6th.
“The first table pack (Medieval Madness and Bride of PinBot) will be released for the PS Vita on June 12th, and for the PlayStation 3 on June 26th.

The second table pack (Cirqus Voltaire and Funhouse) will be released for the PlayStation 3 on June 26th and for the PS Vita on July 3rd.”

So.. YAY for vita, BOOO for PS3 till June 26th.

  • Great job to Rey & to the rest of the PSN Team on their hard work & coverage of E3 2012

  • This is the best drop for Vita owners (like myself) since launch! Looking forward to Gravity Rush and PulzAR.

I may get the MGS collection in the future. I’ve played through both multiple times (Snake Eater is a truly great game), and I’m not sure that having portable versions is worth another $40.

  • Where is Plants vs zombies for the PS Vita? Is it the limited edition? Does it come with more trophies?

  • Gravity Rush here i come!

  • Are we getting the pre-order dlc for Gravity Rush in the PSN version? You guys still haven’t confirmed that. The EU guys are getting it, so what about us?

  • gravity rush for me

  • @9 Technically it’s 10 dollars less than the PS3 collection, but you’re right it would’ve been nice to have in there. It’s probably the best week the Vita has seen since its launch.

  • @18 and anyone else annoyed about Killzone 1 being pulled as a PS2 classic and not being mentioned since.

As a fan of Killzone 1 (even more so than 2 and 3), stop worrying about getting it as a PS2 classic. It’s better that we don’t. 1st, PS2 classic don’t have online. And 2nd, Killzone 1 was greatly held back by PS2 hardware and as a PS2 classic on PSN, it would really have the same issues it originally had, being visually scaled back to even run on PS2 and quite alot of slowdown in single-player.

And when Killzone 1 was announced as a PS2 classic some people including myself sent e-mails to GG and Sony requesting Killzone 1 get a full on HD remaster. It would have a steady frame-rate, much better textures and visuals all around, and probably have online.

Based on how the PS2 classic was pulled from the store update at the very last second and never mentioned again (been many months now), I have a good feeling the e-mails got to the right people and the next time we hear about Killzone 1 it will be as a full HD remaster.

  • @5 They said during E3 that they would start supporting PSone classics on Vita this summer. Apparently that’s all the information we get.

  • That’s all just my theory of course, but one I’d be ecstatic if it happened to be true.

I played Killzone 1 from the day it came out until UT3 came out for PS3. I milked everything there was to milk out of that game many times over. So I’d never buy the PS2 classic since it’s the same exact thing. I played that game for 4 years. And people stopped playing it because it was time to move on. I see no point in spending money on the original in it’s original form again.

But a HD remaster? Or even a full on remake using Killzone 2/3’s engine? Oh yeah! That’s worth spending money to own. So I pray to the gaming Gods that my theory is in fact true.

  • Yes, Arkham City available for download!

  • Is that a new demo for Gravity Rush?

  • Aw man, we’re actually getting a physical PSP game release this week and you guys forget to mention it :/

  • Ya I don’t get it. Don’t we already have a gravity rush demo. So is this a new one? Anyway, I’ll be enjoying this week. We finally get an actual pan update catered to vita users. I’ll be buying gravity rush, though it would be nice to get some official word as I remember people kept saying the preorder dlc can be gotten for free for people who buy digitally within the week. I plan to buy it digital and would be nice to know.

All in all a good week. Gravity rush and that ar card game will be bought by me. Hopefully this continue and we get mire items next week, or at least some official release date on ps1 support. Since soon has had a totally different definition on Sony turn, I would like to know when they think summer is.

  • How big is the PSN version of Metal Gear Solid: HD Collection?

  • Is Batman Arkham City the Original release w/o the DLC or is it the newly released GOTY Edition with all DLC included?

Looks like a good week of drops!

  • @4, WAT? Oh, the US release better mirror this promotion! :/

A casual fan of the MGS series; going to wait & see if the translation to the Vita’s control scheme remains good to Konami’s word. Gravity Rush for sure, MGS maybe, but later on this month… Lego: Batman comes!

  • @35 Nope. They’re the same exact price.

  • preordered both Lollipop Chainsaw and Gravity Rush! Can’t wait til Tuesday :)

  • I wish Gravity Rush was on PS3 it looks like tons of fun.

  • Gravity rush and thinking about that chainsaw chick game…..
