We’ve got some great news this week — tomorrow sees the release of The Pirates! Band of Misfits, a fun movie for the whole family, on Blu-Ray and DVD! Thanks to a special partnership, we’ll be including vouchers for a brand new The Pirates! Minipack inside the Blu-Ray and DVD release of the movie.

That’s right! If you pick up The Pirates! Band of Misfits on Blu-Ray or DVD, you will be able to download a free collection of gnarly pirate costumes including The Pirate Captain, Black Bellamy and Cutlass Liz.

Don’t forget our recent LittleBigPlanet Cross-Goods Announcement either, meaning that this voucher will entitle you to the full set of costumes on LittleBigPlanet 2, LittleBigPlanet PS Vita and LittleBigPlanet Karting.

LittleBigProgressive Create Contest Ends Next Week

Just a quick reminder that the Create-A-Level contest sponsored by Progressive ends next week, on September 4th, so be sure to publish your level to the community for a chance to win a PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita with a 4GB memory card, and copies of LittleBigPlanet Karting and LittleBigPlanet PS Vita, as well as both the PS3 and PS Vita versions of PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale as soon as the game is released.

Even if you’re more of a “Play” person than a “Create” person, you can still participate by playing and rating the contest entries online… just search for levels starting with the name “Pro_”.
