I like that we are at least getting new releases for the Vita, but I would like to get some full retail games for the Vita. Even if they are a year old. I just don’t get as much playtime out of these psn games. And no more psp games please. I want games that were made for the Vita.

Is the Onimusha series ever going to make it to PSN? I’ll be taking huge advantage of the sale!

I’m gonna have to get thieves in time. Wish i had a bigger memory card though. I hate having to delete games. Good sale though.

speaking of PS Allstars (what USED to be my favorite vita game until the recent vita update; not the super tiny one, but the one before that)

for some reason I can no longer listen to “music” while playing; and thus haven’t played since :(…

Also, in addition, it would be really nice if I could listen to “music” while playing psp/ps1 games. It could/would definitely increase my digital psp/ps1 library/usage.

Thanks in advance

Are the metal gear sale coming to PSN EU too?

156

+ iAvernus on April 29th, 2013 at 11:52 am said:

Starting to feel ripped off. Seriously. EU gets more for their money while we continue to get crappy PSN games. EU gets Hitman this month! What do we get? Discounts? PSN games?????

I’ve never been one to complain about PS+, and in the beginning I thought it was a good idea, but now it’s really starting to feel like I’m wasting my money. Been subbed over a year now, but the way this is going I might not bother renewing.

Seriously Sony!! (Checks calendar and it’s not April Fools) This is truly a grand slam PS+ update!
Thanks for the great discounts and Zombie Tycoon II!!

Does anyone know if the God of War: Origins Collections is the upgraded HD version for PS3? If so, I’ll be getting it since it’s the only ones I haven’t played.

Are you kidding?? Again, we get crapped on? I’m so tired of getting Phone/Facebook games while EU gets Video Games! Hitman Absolution to EU this month…this is so ridiculous.

Is there a way, being in the US that I can sign up for PS+ EU? Can I create a new account and say it’s in the UK and buy a UK PSN Card or something? There is no way in hell I’m renewing this subscription for the US. If I wanted to play phone games I wouldn’t have spent $600 on a PS3, I would’ve purchased an OUYA!

First Tomb Raider now this wooooooooooooooooooow

One idea though this is when you guys need to have the 50 for 10 promotions because it entices people to buy more I’m dropping $50 guaranteed but if I knew $20 was coming my way I’d drop $100

or maybe a rewards system like gamestop something to make us come to the ps store

The freebie tomorrow looks like it might be alright. I hope it turns out well as it will be the first game I download this month. The sales are awesome, really good sales on some really good games. I might have to pick up The Devil May Cry collection as I own most everything else up there that isn’t a PSP title. Really was hoping to see Metal Gear Rising: Revengeace as a part of the sale but it is fairly new so I’m not really surprised. Still the length of that game is said to be really short so I haven’t been willing to jump on it at full price. Oh well, great sale regardless. Here’s hoping to some fresher, more exciting content next month for NA Plus members. You can just copy and paste what the EU Plus members are getting if you want. I know I’d be happy and I would bet that there are many others who be comfortable with a better selection of games as well.

I think there’s a ton of replay value in MGS Rising. To me, the length was just fine. The fighting system is one where it really encourages you to play through it multiple times and find new challenges with what I think is a really good fighting engine.

+ Hayterfan on April 29th, 2013 at 12:49 pm said:

Hmmm Might buy the digital version of MGS HD collection, would be nice to have almost the entire series on my hard drive, although Im starting to think its about time to upgrade my 500GB to 1TB.

Also where is Capocm vs SNK 2, Christen Sevenson said that it would be coming out on the PS store in April and we haven’t really heard a word since

186

+ Hayterfan on April 29th, 2013 at 12:53 pm said:

@178 the entire Uncharted series is available for download on the PS store, there just effing HUGE Unchated 1 and 2 are about 17-18GB and Uncharted 3 is about 43GB, throw in the weird way the Playstaion downloads games (you essentially need double the space it says to download it and install it) makes UC1-2 about 40GB by themselves and UC3 at 83GB last I checked.

Why don’t we get the same types of content for PS Plus the EU ones?

They’ve had Okami HD, Hitman: Absolution, and even Sleeping Dogs, great games and we didn’t get those.

It just seems odd that you’d have this kind of disparity between the different regions….

Anyways, looking forward to the new games for May.

It’s frakking AWESOME that Portable Ops and Portable Ops+ are on sale… buuuuuuuut completely silly because they can’t be played on a Vita with a North American PSN account :( :( :( :(

Please tell me that has been resolved now that they are on sale! I own both on UMD and would gladly pick them up again if they were compatible…

The sales look fantastic! Lots of big titles and cheap prices too. If you haven’t picked up PSASBR I highly recommend it. Already got my Vita version platinum and am looking to get the PS3 version platinum as well. This is coming from someone who doesn’t really enjoy fighting games either. They’re just not my cup of tea. However, PSASBR is a huge exception.

Quick question though. Will any of the PSASBR DLC be on sale as well? The new stages look particularly enticing but I haven’t picked them up yet.

@147 GStylez1980,

I may depend on who you ask because nostalgia plays a big role in peoples’ minds when it comes to the first MGS. I personally feel that the Gamecube version, the Twin Snakes, is the best version of MGS1 because all of the gameplay has been upgraded to use the same engine as Metal Gear Solid 2. Going back to the original MGS1 after playing Twin Snakes or MGS2 is difficult for me. If you’re worried about the gunplay, keep in mind that the original version of MGS1 doesn’t have 1st Person Shooting either, making targeting some enemies a pain if you’re spotted or in a boss battle.

It’s still a good game, especially for $5, but your mileage might vary. That said, the story still holds up today, so if it’s the only chance you have to see MGS’s story unfold, I recommend it. You may also want to look up the Metal Gear Solid: Digital Graphic Novel, which is essentially the whole story in comic form.

Morgan, I also would like some official confimation that the R&CFFA sale willentitle me (god, i can’t believe I said that) to the Vita version. And maybe a confimation that the Vita version hasn’t been cancelled. It’s a game I want on my Vita, but I’ll learn how to play on PS3 as long as I know my Vita version is coming. Thanks.

Also, $20 was the price I was waiting for to buy AllStars (with the small roster that’s what I feel it’s worth), if I’m able to get another PSN card this week, I’ll be buying that as well as FFA. And I WISH I could afford more. I’m just so broke. Which makes PLUS SOOOO important to me as a gamer. I pray to the Gaming Gods daily Sony is able to keep Plus around through PS4′s life.
