This is an unbeatable price for Wipeout HD! It would’ve been perfect if you discounted the bundle to $14.99, but I have no problem buying the two separately. Thanks for the good sale.

I also picked up Final Fight…ah memories.

Looking forward to hearing release dates for: Castle Crashers and Final Fantasy IX.

Any chance we could also see Vagrant Story and Chrono Cross on the Network in the future?

@137 – Not everyone uses credit cards. Or wants to. It’s a lot more convenient to buy amazon.com cards (or a variety of other methods, like trading in coins at a coinstar machine) which can be used to buy anything at Amazon.com or PSN, than simply buying PSN Cards, which can only be used at PSN.

At least if Amazon.com’s store was updated more often. They seem to have not updated for a while (2 weeks?)

Whooa. You guys are working harder to be on time, this was alil early :0 Ty 4 the skate 3 demo.. Also to the people complaining about ps classic, “classic”- mean old ps1 title not best selling titles that where popular, its mean old ps1 titles.

YOU HAVE TO THINK this build relationships with small developers and etc, they cant broaden the brand with just popular titles all the time, every small dev get a fair shake, yes they would make millions by droppin a++ every week, but some times a quality friendship in buisness is worth more the almighty dollar, sumthing thing to think about my fellow peers, this shows u sony not money hungry but buisness savvy.

Bad update in my opinion.

Please add more turn-based RPGs, this is the only way fans can get them since they won’t come out on disc for PS3.

xenonick23 said:

April 16th, 6:21 am

I really do despise complaining to the greatest degree, but I just feel the PS3 is getting the full attention of the updates (which is understandable since its the better selling hardware). However, as a PSPGo owner, I just feel that my experience with the Go should be ABSOLUTELY EQUAL to that of a PSP-3000 and below, if anything just as far as games go. One ‘new’ game does not warrant a ‘weekly’ update when so many large blockbusters have yet to go released on the network. I really do love supporting Sony, you’re just making it harder each week while I wait.

Psikorps said:

April 16th, 7:04 am

PSN updates going to be Tuesdays? That is a great move, get the update out closer to 360’s weekly.

A move in the right direction…
Now only a few things left that are even MORE important.

#1: Support the PspNo, offer digital versions of ALL previously released UMD titles.

#2: Force developers producing new games for PSP to have a digital version aswell (and under no circumstances charge more for the digital than the UMD…EVER)

#3: Kick whoever is in charge of the so-called PS1 “classics” until they understand that OLD does not mean CLASSIC.

#4: Start forcing developers to include Avatars and Dynamic themes with their games, because its apparent you guys cant take the pressure of putting out avatars and dynamic themes via psn download in a reasonable timeframe.

#5: Bring the video store to Canada, I really do not like giving my money to Microsoft for the 360 videos, but they offer something that Sony is not….fix it.

Well, every week can’t be a winner. I really liked Freekscape though.

I bought Monster Hunter last week so I think I will be okay on games for a few weeks.

I really wish we could get a price drop on Dissidia, Persona, and Resistance: Retribution. What do you say, Sony? Can we get a discount on these?

urienji said:

Persona at Amazon – $16.41.

Persona at PSN – $39.99.

Please explain how this makes any sense at all.

It makes perfect sence, you see today is friday and you have a PS3, french fries are yummy and “miley” Cyrus won the Tester.
Normaly its uncommon for 2+2 to = 4, even more so when Gamestop has a sale.

Also because JPN, EURO and NA all have different psn’s the toppings on your ice cream might not include
chocolate sprinkles.

You see…perfect sence. Understanding of Sonys logic is as simple as a drunken monkey doing taxes.

Great update Sony. Keep up the great work. I think that PSN corp formation thing at last years E3 was a great move, and it’s paying off now in a big way.

Store updates are almost weekly now, they always have something that some people want, and the content in them is enough for at least those who might try something to look at it now instead of it mostly being 50 plus vids about the games of 2 months ago like in 2008.

@49 I don’t get it man I hear it all the time but What the hell was so great about the Dreamcast? I had one and had alot of games too some I actually bought. Don’t get me wrong I liked the Dreamcast it had some good games. I’m so tired of hearing Dreamcast was my favorite system but I don’t remember seeing anyone supporting the damn thing when you know it was actually being made. It sure wasn’t the price it was only 199 at launch so it wasn’t price. If the dream cast was so good the PS2 wouldn’t have mopped the damn floor with the thing. Dreamcast is the most retro overrated thing Ive ever seen. I know I bought mine on 9/9/99 and by november of the next year I was buying a PS2.

Anyway this weeks spring special is WEAK. 1 game? I’ll pass. Why is it that not every UMD is made for download past and present. Until then the PSPgo will be a Failure. Not even all the AAA titles are available? The 100th PSone classic is what again? thats turabile.

iTofuMan said:

April 16th, 2:53 pm

Definition of “Classic”: of the first or highest quality, class, or rank.

so anyone saying classic just means old is wrong, and if Sony is indeed using it that way then they fail at English!

I’m disappointed that the Fury pack didn’t drop in price as well. Now if I buy it for $10, I will have only saved 5 bucks as oppose to 10.

Can’t say I regret the purchase though. WipEout is good stuff.

I downloaded Sam & Max(bought the season) & have a question, is the demo the full game or was there anything else I needed to get, because it says the demo & the full game are the same size. when I installed it is said it was installing the Sam & Max demo

When I pre-ordered it, I downloaded a 100k file(that was an unlock key)

how can u call this a bad update??

u cant expect to get something that u alone want, every week. thats impossible… give them a break, theyre doing a tremendous job.

April 16th, 11:34 pm

So, for the next several days you can get Wipeout HD and the Fury add on separately for $19.98 or the bundle for $24.99, thus defeating the purpose of it until this sale is over…… Yeah that makes sense…. The logical thing would be to reduce the cost of the bundle to at least match what they would cost individually during this sale period.

Vextalon said:

April 17th, 8:23 am

Im seriously disappointed. I saw that it was Racing week and since all these Modnation Racers videos, i was hoping there was a demo just for this week only. I mean theres like 15 videos for that game and that equals like filler for the weekly update, thats crap. i can see those videos on Gametrailers if I felt like it. You know it would have made sense for Crash Team Racing for PS1 to come out, no that to hard for Sony. Half of the games on the PS1 classics I never even heard of and probablly for a good reason. I’m glad that Wipeout is on sale for $10, I’m picking that up but wouldn’t it have made sense to drop the Fury add-on to $5. I know plenty of people that would grab Fury if it went down halfway.

Vextalon said:

April 17th, 8:23 am

And how come you guys did such a great job with the Burnout Paradise DLC, I grabbed the DLC bundle for $20 since I was saving $30 for the rest of the stuff, I only grab the Big Surf Island from the game, It was worth the extra 10 hours of gameplay.

I have Motorstorm Pacific Rift and how come those those expansions arent 2 for $ 10 yet? Really but a Call of Duty map pack has 4 or 5 maps and gets priced 10 bucks, the expansions have 3 new maps apiece and guess what there 10 bucks apiece what the hell, its like your math and logic skills are seriously messed up like a drunk, except always on

April 17th, 2:27 pm

Final Fight Double Impact has a glitch. It played ok the first few times but now whenever I go to the menu screen, the screen acts like the controller is holding the up button and uncontrollably cycles through the menu options. I thought it was the controller but when I turned the controller off, it kept doing it. Also I switched controllers with no luck. Next step I rebooted my PS3 and restarted the game, again, no luck. I finally deleted the game and reinstalled it. That took care of the problem for a few minutes then it came back again. The game has a glitch and I hope Capcom releases an update soon. Has anyone else have this problem?

BE WARNED – To play Final Fight: DI, you HAVE to be logged into the PSN. If you have a spotty-connection (like me) or choose to play without internet connection, you can’t even LAUNCH the game. All you get is an error. This game is perfectly viable as a stand-alone, single player game.

This is absolutely ridiculous. There is no chance that I would have paid ANYTHING for this game had this been public information.

There is no warning of this in the game’s description AT ALL!
