Grace, thanks as always for a great update, I got to say though I was really hoping that you would have the new Infamous 2, and Resistance 3 trailers up from GamesCon. Also I would love to know who is singing House of the Rising Sun in the infamous 2 trailer. I know the original by the Animals but this one is great (also I must commend Sony’s staff on always picking great songs for the vids and conferences).

Good update, but were are the ps1 classics and umd classics? I do not condone piracy, but if teenagers can create iso’s of games and put them on the internet as illegal downloads, why can’t sony and other game developers create legal downloads of all psp games and make them available for legal purchase? Also why is manhunt 2 more than 9.99 for download? (just today there was a press release about the psp favorites for 9.99). Also pirates and dungeon seige are not available in the psn store (what’s the hold up). And lastly when are the squaresoft games we want going to show up on the network?

Goodbye Sony, hello Nintendo. Selling the ps3 on the most poplular auction site this week.

Anything on Xenogears? Digimon World? Maybe some Tony Hawk? Someone should definitely get a translation for Policenauts in the works and code it for the PSN. I’d buy it in a heartbeat.

Wow! There is ABSOLUTELY no new PS Plus content this week. I really hope that this isn’t going to become a normal pattern. Please, throw us a bone!

You know what… as a PS+ subscriber, I would rather Sony mail me a can of soup each month instead of the rubbish line-up of cell-phone-quality minis, generic themes, and preselected avatars.

So next week we will receive Mushroom Wars and Vempire for free? At least Mushroom Wars is a “full” game… but then again, so is Minesweeper.

I’m looking this gift horse in the mouth, and it has gingivitis.

Solid update this week. However I have a good question to ask. With Playstation Move coming out next month, will we see any Playstation Network games coming out for that piece of the Playstation.

i wouldn’t mind having a few other ps1/psp games show up digital. tales of the world(psp) or The Legend of Dragoon(ps1) come to mind. i would also like to see more umd based games go digital. carrying several UMDs, games and movies, around is really hard.

Why doesn’t Marcus play with a PSP Go!

also do I have to abandon the playstation ship just to get a downloadable final fantasy role playing game, geez almost 1 year with a PSP Go and still no Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, VERY DISAPPOINTED!

I want a $250 refund for PSPGo, plus $30 refund for PSPGo Docking Station, plus $20 refund for PSPGo AV Cable and a free PSP Slim for the one I traded in before the PSPGo release date and a free disc copy of Crisis Core because I was told all games would be available on release date of PSPGo!

hey let’s keep selling bundle packs for the PSP but do nothing on advertising the PSPGo!

sNsKid said:

This update had very little of interest to me and what did had nothing to do with gaming directly. Dew Tour and Resident Evil Afterlife. :/

I hope next week has more content I’m interested in. I do know Shank will be out next week and that is a plus in addition to the PS Plus content. I really want to play Dead Nation.

Monster Hunter is tempting…maybe. Is the sell temporary? I’m guessing so since it didn’t say permanent.

Any chance of convincing Square Enix to get its other Final Fantasy games on the PSN besides Dissida?

Another week goes by and still no news or releases for any of the NeoGeo or PCEngine games on the PSP. Just provide a little bit of news such as “something is coming within the next six months” and I would be happy :)

@ #156 – I feel for you in terms of your frustration with the GO.

$3 for a Tragically Hip song! What the hell was Harmonix/MTV thinking on that one?! I know Gordie’s ego is pretty damn big, but c’mon, that’s just a rip off.

@ people saying there’s no PSN+ update this week – check the blog. They said they were updating it every two weeks now (though it doesn’t change the fact that it still isn’t worth the money)

I have a question, will there be a Patapon 3 Solo Demo, not Multiplayer with Save Capability, and when will Patapon 3 be released?

KatanaStrikes said:

Thanks for putting up an actual 3D trailer. Though I have an issue… it’s way too dark. Turning the brightness up to fullest on my TV and it’s still at least 50% too dark. Please make sure the trailers are brighter when making 3D content. From what I saw it looked really good.

The other thing is why put the Resident Evil 3D trailer and theme in the 3D section when they aren’t in 3D?

And for some reason I can’t log into this site with Firefox.

Ok for free contnent every 2 weeks, i dont care.
At least give us PSN+ SALE every week
i dont care about your “free” “renting” Games (whipeout, critter, mushroom war)
All i care is games i can buy for myself at half price.
i brought over 580$ just over this years (2009-2010) on PSN
so please listen to me!

Great update as always Grace and Ro! Also, for everyone whining about how the updates are always a “fail”, get a life! And for those complaining about the new Lara Croft game that came out on XBLA but not on PSN this week, do your research, it’s a timed exclusive until Sept 28th (not to mention that the XBLA version got ripped off since they have no “online” coop until its released for PS3). Also for the PSN Plus subscribers (me being a proud subscriber), updates for Plus content is once every TWO weeks, not once a week.

Wait? WHAT!?

We don’t have a single shred of info on this one yet, not even a roughly estimated time of release…And they already start pumping out the DLC?
I don’t know if I’m excited because it might come sooner than Ono had insinuated, or if I’m disappointed that Capcom would try to nickel and dime people for things like avatars BEFORE THE GAME EVEN HAS A RELEASE DATE.

The HD version of Earthworm Jim is SPOT ON AWESOME. I’m a huge fan of the game from WAY back. I still have my Genesis and the cartridge.

It would be the coolest thing if we could have one of my favorite games ever (coincidentally also originally on the Genesis) redone in HD…the original Toejam & Earl. That game with online multiplayer options (as well as the local ones) would be amazingly cool.

Please? Pretty please with a cherry on top?
