  • I just bought Shadow of Mordor on Sept 30 and CS told me it does not count…..2 hours from midnight. Well good thing Wii U is much more suited ot me because I am not spening a dime throughput october. I know this wont hurt them at all, but it’s something I guess. And will stop buying digital PS4 games Day One. F**k supporting your developers Sony.

  • When the heck will I be able to digitally pre-order GTA V and Project CARS for PS4?!?!? I can already pre-order games Uncharted 4 and 1866: The Order right now and neither game will be out until sometime next year, but the games I want to pre-order both come out NEXT MONTH! Something isn’t right about this, guys. If I’m going to take advantage of this deal, I’d prefer to do it with games I’m actually looking forward to playing and are actually coming out in a reasonable time frame.

  • I was waiting for this!!!! Now I am going to get Destiny and some games on sale the next weeks! Thanks!!! :D

  • As for the complaints about when the deal was announced, I’ve made it a habit of not making any big purchases on PSN in the Fall or early Spring because of Sony’s past promos. In fact, this one is taking place just over a year since they did the spend $50 get $10 promo in late September 2013, and I’ve been gradually stocking up credit in anticipation. Looks like I was right on the money. It sucks for anyone who pre-ordered Mordor, DriveClub and other games just the day before, but there’s a lesson to be learned here. NEVER RUSH TO MAKE A DIGITAL PRE-ORDER. Digital Games never go out of stock and can be pre-ordered right up until the day before release. And let’s be honest, if people who pre-ordered Mordor on the 29th or purchased on the 30th qualified for the deal, what happens to all the people who did so earlier? It would be good for Sony to extend the deal back a week as a gesture, but I don’t see it happening as it might open up a whole new can of policy worms…

  • ppl Why are you pre-ordering digital games so early in first place? One week or day before is enough. There will be deals many weeks before and we know Sony is doing these kind of days from time to time. So don’t cry. It’s not like digital games going to be sold out!

  • @104 I totally agree! If you wait you will always be the winner. You never loose something.

  • And pre-order content almost always becomes available later as DLC post launch eventually, and usually ends up going on sale anyway. There is nothing wrong with pre-ordering, but there’s no need to do it so early. If you buy the game on launch day or afterward you’re still helping the developer, in fact, when you are buying digital you are ALWAYS helping out the developer.

  • To anyone that pre-ordered The Evil Within on September, it should count towards the $100. Login your PSN account via PC go to view all media and it should say you purchased the game on October 13th 2014.

  • This promo is not as good as 10 for 50, but I’ll take it. A game and a couple of season passes. If this promo really did post some time after the store updated, that’s just not right.

Unless there is a true incentive for preordering via the store (as in a substantial price reduction), I won’t do it.

  • Updating everyone about my issue.

My cancellation request went through today that i put in on Wednesday. And my refund was put back on my playstation wallet. Just now re-pre-ordered DriveClub again with Season Pass, now just have to spend another $25 to reach the $100 promotion spent on PlayStation Store this month to get back $15 in PlayStation wallet credit.

  • I bought a Destiny Pack and Minecraft for this like 5 days ago… I hope I get the credit soon… Haven’t yet… Then again, November 7th is a long ways off. XD

  • This is just on games themselves? None of the DLC counts?

  • I spent $99.99 on october 3 for advance warfare pro edtition and wondering if i have to spend $100 exact to receive $15? Please help

  • So do I have to spend $100, or just add it to my wallet? I added $100 and purchased Destiny, and would now like to purchase the last of us remastered. I only had a $100 visa card. Destiny is $60, & The last of us is $50. Will I get a $15 code eventually to be able to purchase the last of us?

  • @114 you have to spend $100. Just adding funds to your wallet won’t be enough. Plus you will get your credit BY November so you’ll probably be waiting for awhile. I spend $120 right when the promotion started and I still haven’t received my $15 voucher.

  • Will I get 30$ back for spending 200$?

  • But I spent $100 on the store, it’s non-refundable? I’ll just call Sony I guess

  • Thats nice, thats why cod pro cost me $99.99 1 cent shy, they couldn’t make it an even $100.00

  • So does anyone know if ps plus subscription counts towards the promotion?

  • I called support, you just have to add the money to your wallet.

  • Anyone complaining about the requirements and the reward need to stfu. It’s not for you if you only spend $30 bucks a year. I just got my ps4 and need playstation plus ($49.99) and I wanna pick up drive club (49.99) that’s $99.98 that’s already almost $100 and I didn’t even add in borderlands the pre-sequel. I’m glad to be GETTING money for buying games…… Sony is CHOOSING to do this as a reward, they don’t have to.

  • LMAO! what is someone spent 100 dollars on the last day on September!

  • @121, I bought Borderlands Presequel on 9/30, because SCEA didn’t announce the promotion when the store updated but instead on 10/01. Then they refused to let me cancel the preorder even though I don’t get the game for two whole weeks, right in the middle of the promotion. It is a legitimate complaint, regardless of how you lack empathy.

  • Signed in just to comment. If I buy a bunch of ps1 games on here does it still count?

  • So I just pre-ordered cod: advancr warfare pr edition for $99.99 and bought star wara:the force uleashed 2 for $19.99 on oct. 7th. Do I qualify for the $15 credits? If so am I just waiting for an email or playstation msg from them?

  • I’ve already spend more than 100$ when this promo shows it, when i’m going to receive the 15$ bonus? or i had to speak with sony support for it?

  • Really like digital games in some ways, but always wonder why people rely on it… like for instance for me the convenience of digital doesn’t outweigh that I can wait for price drops, and sell games I don’t like… curious to hear why some people don’t mind not having those options even if they’re paying the same price for the case…

  • Does anyone know if Playstation Now rentals count towards the $100 total? I might make a couple of purchases that add up to $95, and I was hoping a $5.99 PSNow rental would push me over the top.

  • This is a nice deal with good timing for me. My PS4 arrives vid Fedex tomorrow, and I was going to need to renew my PS+ membership in November anyway. Add in that I was already planning to get Dragon Age: Inquisition and I’m over $100. This just helped me decide which edition to get. Looks like Dragon Age: Inquisition is going to be my first Day One Digital purchase.

And I’m thinking Child of Light or Dead Nation with the $15 voucher.

  • Do PS Now purchases count toward the current “GET $15 CREDIT FOR SPENDING $100!” promotion? I just want to make sure it’s not a special case since its in beta.

  • Really dissapointed here I miss the $10 for every $50 spent and with this fall not even being super heavy on good games why double the price point? I was going to do this with Shadow of Mordor and Pre-order Bloodborne but Bloodborne doesn’t count even though its a PS exclusive. Also about 1/3 of these games were free for PS+ users.

  • Thank you for giving me an opportunity to save $15!!!!! A lot of new games coming up this holiday season and it never hurts to add another year of PS+. Thanks!

  • Just preordered CoD AW Digital Plus Edition. Only need about 60 bucks but it was worth it. Thanks Sony!

  • anybody?

  • Any money spent in the store should count. Why wouldn’t it?

  • I just realized the terms state USD. So am I supposed to convert it for Canadian dollars? It’s “Spend 113$CAD and get 17$CAD”? This USD thing is really confusing me… Also I’m assuming tax doesn’t count?

This is so much simpler on the Play promotion! Buy X number of games, get money, that’s it! No worrying about currency or amounts… But hey, free money! And I’m pretty much buying all games on sale already anyway, so double win!

  • To answer my own questions, I contacted chat support. They confirmed it is US dollars so I have to convert, and it excludes service fees and tax.

  • who do i contact exactly if i haven’t received my 15$ voucher yet?

  • hey what’s up everybody,
can somebody from the PSN STAFF can explain that issue ; ”during october everybody of us getting for 100$ dollars of stuff from psn suppose to get a 15$ card codeso after the big mess around Driv***** and de ps+ edition…i decide to buy it because i was to much excited to play it ”AND I DON’T REGRETT IT …IT’S A AWESOME GAME” 50$ + 20$ off card in nhl 15 + 10 minute ago a take a renew for ps+ (1 year) 50$…. so on my count it make a total of 120$ in two weeks ”ALL IN OCTOBER”…BUT NO 15$ OFF CREDIT !!!!! whats going on sony HELP AND ANSWER ME PLEASE !!!!1

  • Just pre ordered Assassin’s Creed Rogue and Shadow of Mordor so im good

  • Got Shadows of Mordor, Southpark Stick of Truth and a few DLC packs for Southpark. Probably use the $15 credit toward Lego Batman 3 season pass.

  • so I’ve purchased The last of us remastered edition and 12 month PS Plus subscription for a total 99.98$ each purchased for 49.99 . Am I still applicable for the 15$ reward or not ?

  • How can I see how muchI’ve spent though?

  • if i buy movies does it count

  • Any chance we can get a confirmation that the purchases on the 28th will count towards this? I have spend $95 this month because of this deal, and am going to buy Costume Quest 2 on the 28th; and by the wording (through the 28th it sounds like this will be the case) A response would be greatly appreciated.

  • ^^^ Same question. I’m waiting to order Freedom Wars but it comes out tomorrow. Will that count toward the $100 or is today, the 27th, the last day?

  • I was wondering if this was still good today too since the promo isn’t showing on the store anymore. Probably doesn’t matter since I haven’t been able to complete a purchase on the store yet today.
