  • So excited to get to play Vanquish and Bayonetta on PS4. Bullet Sorrow VR, Katana Kami, Draugen, and the Retro Brawler bundle also look like they are worth picking up.

  • I believe Hunt: Showdown is due out next week as well, unless something changed.

  • Is Hunt: Showdown still releasing on the 18th?

  • The NEW Way of the Samurai: Katana Kami!
    & Bayonetta/Vanquish!

  • Huge, HUGE thank you to Arc System Works for bringing Kunio-kun: The World Classics Collection stateside! I had actually imported the HK version some months ago for both the PS4 and the Switch, figuring that it would never see the light of day here. This is a really awesome surprise and thank you guys for giving us official English translations for all the NES Kunio-kun games that never made it across the shores of Japan!

Hopefully we’ll see Neo Geo’s Super Dodge Ball on the PS4 or PS5 someday…it’s the one game that truly needs a re-release on modern platforms!

    • ASW is doing the Kunio Kun series justice, especially with localizing the games with Western releases.

And totally agree about the NeoGeo’s Super Dodge Ball. I hope they make another collection with the Arcade / SNES / GameBoy games. Nekketsu Shodai, Banka, Super DD, Super Dodge Ball and the GBA versions of DD1 and RCR would be awesome.

    • This weeks The Drop has at least the correct releases listed that have a physical release unlike last week. Now add videos for the games. Seriously, how long would it take to google it and add the youtube links?

  • And I litrally waited 10 years for a proper Bayonetta 1 version on PS lol.

I haven’t played any other version, hoping that this day would come.

  • Hello! Would you consider placing the genre of the game under the game’s title? When I read the information about a game such as Katana Kami, I have no idea what it is. Is it an Action Adventure? RPG? I just think it would be helpful. Thank you!

    • You know it’s really not that hard to go look up a game you might be interested in. We’re lucky to even get an early look at what’s hitting the store the next week.

  • Very excited to play Vanquish again on PS4. I had really enjoyed when I played it originally on PS3 many years ago.

  • Made Short trailer video including this games, please check it out. New PS4 Games This Week ➡️https://youtu.be/IFn33JBoS8o

  • Are Bayonetta and Vanquish going to be sold separately digitally?

  • I have two questions to anyone working for Sony Playstation:

Will the Ps5 have the same update system as the Ps4?
On the ps4, you download a game update to a server, then you have to “copy” (they call it copy, but since its from a server, its called downloading) the ENTIRE game to your console.
    And:

Why do Sony Playstation strive so hard to avoid having any contact with their customers? why do you work so hard to hide from us players?

    • What?

If an update comes out it doesn’t redownload the entire game, it just downloads the updates.

And the “copy” part is the same thing as installing a program on a pc. It downloads the install for just the update and then the “copy” part is just unpacking the update and moving the files to the correct location. If they didn’t do it that way, you wouldn’t be able to play your game while updating, and the downloads would be uncompressed and require more data.

    • As for why Sony strives so hard to avoiding talking to customers, you’re kinda wrong about that too man

You can call them literally any day, talk to them on twitter or Facebook, and email them as well. Any time I’ve ever had any issues I just call and they’ve always solved my issue.

If the issue you’re trying to complain about is the way downloads work then you don’t have an issue

    • Yeah the system on PS4 is ridiculous. It takes soooo much longer than it used to and soooo much longer than on Switch or Xbox regardless of file size

    • Eh no, you download the update to a server, then you download the game to your console. You cant play any games while they are updating. This is how the system works, sony has explained it themselves, i would give you a link, but i cant remember where i found it. And, i live in norway, calling support takes about 45 min to an hour, and the poor guy that finaly answers, straight up told me that he gets little to no info from sony themselves, he admited there was almost nothing he could help with. And i cant contact support from any other country, since they all just tell me to contact support im my own country.

F.ex the Xbox does the updates just the normal way, and it uses a 3th of the time to do it.
Playstation 4s update system is perhaps the dumbest system ever put into a electronic device. So i just wanna know if they are going to use the same system on the Ps5, but since its impossible to reach them, i guess i have to wait until it comes out to find out.

    • And, i dont have any email to contact them. If i try, i get a reply that tells me to contact support in my own country. And they dont reply on facebook and they dont reply on twitter. I have tried asking the same question since i heard the ps5 was coming. My issue is that i want to know just that, so i have an issue. Why are you acting like this?

  • how much is Double Dragon & Kunio Kun Retro Brawler Bundle going to cost?

    • From the other console that’s going to release this as well, its $39.99, pricy, I know. Dunno if that’ll be the same for the PS4 version, but since its a big collection anyways…

  • No love for Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[cl-r] ? Its launching on the 20th

  • Please add video links to the drop.

  • The feels when Autobahn Police Simulator 2 gets a mention and not UNI-CLR (under-night Inbirth EXE:Late cl-r)

  • I never played Bayonetta, I’m excited to try it! I am a HUGE DMC fan. I love all the games including the reboot.

  • Does Darksiders Genesis also come out tomorrow? I think I saw that somewhere earlier.
