Dreams for PS4, Announced at E3

Today we’re showing you a glimpse into some of our dreams. In making LittleBigPlanet and Tearaway, we’ve learnt a lot about digital creativity. The next step on this journey is Dreams.

Dreams is the space you go to where you go to play and experience the dreams of Media Molecule and our community. It’s also a space in which to create your own dreams, whether they’re games, art, films, music or anything in-between and beyond. Quite frankly, it’s a lovely place and we’d very much like you to visit as soon as we’re ready to accept guests.

If any of this sounds like your cup of tea, or you’re curious about what this all really means, watch out for Paris Games Week in October.

Little Big Planet 4? I Don’t want to play this crap

    • I don’t know, it seems like a lot of people are interested. Unfortunately, they can’t just cater to you. Maybe they’ll do LBP some other time.

For now, this game looks very promising!!

Where is Little Big Planet 4? I DON’T WANT to play this next time ask me ):

  • I don’t even know what I’m watching, but I’m loving every minute of it :-D

  • I hope what they showed is really what average people can create with this. It will be an amazing tool for people to create with.

Dreams, The Last Guardian, Final Fantasy 7 Remake, and Uncharted 4… Yeah, that’s all I need from E3! Too deadly.

  • I have no clue what I watched but I want to see more. Will a talent less chump like me be able to do those things?

I am not sure about this one. I need to see more. I also need to be told more to understand it.

  • Where are the PS Vita games? :(

  • Looks awesome, looking forward to fully understanding what’s going on in future lol

  • I’m really excited for this. As a child, I was in obsessed with marionettes. I immediately see the appeal of collaborating with multiple people online, synchronously and asynchronously, creating the puppets and environment, then recording a performance (or gameplay) to share.

I’d love to see a collaboration with Jim Henson’s Creature Shop to make sample content and tutorials.

will there still be Move controller support as was demonstrated before?

the lighting is beautiful — is it similar to the multi-bounce solution used Tomorrow Children?

  • This game looks freaking amazing. The way they described capturing the essence of moving in between dreams. Only Media Molecule can do something like this. I can’t wait to see more during Paris Games Week.
